Food was good Restaurant was clean Nice ambience Clean restrooms Only caveat was that they charged gratuity of around 20% without even giving us a choice. I mean who even does that ? I’ve never been to a restaurant that added gratuity by themselves and on top of that still expect us to tip?? If you’re charging ~20% gratuity and acting surprised when I asked about it and the surprising part is that they fail to mention that anywhere on the receipt. You say on your menu that for a party of 8 or more you will be charging 18% gratuity then why the heck are you charging 20% gratuity for a party of two people. I would be reluctant to come to this place again.

Pretty nice Albasha. I’ve been to several, they are very consistent. Waitress was great and kept waters filled.

The food was good but the server did take it upon herself to increase her tip before processing my credit card, despite me already tipping 20%. When I noticed the overcharge I did call the restaurant to notify the manager and he couldn't have been more dismissive and uninterested in addressing his server's action. That's fine, I won't be back.

The staff are friendly and the food is always good. This is my second time in Albasha, I ordered a combination chicken and gyro plate- and I love the feta cheese that comes with it- it also comes with rice and hummus. Their falafels are crispy and is delicious when dipped in their special sauce that comes with it. I totally enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be back.

5-stars - for quantity of food for the money 4.3-stars for the food itself 5-star service Specifics: For the record this is our go-to Greek Lebanese place especially when we’re in a hurry. Normally for lunch or dinner we can sit down, order and be eating, and done in under an hour. The service this evening was especially fabulous. The staff is normally very attentive. Tonight we ordered the Mesa plate for three + moussaka eggplant, spinach pies. This amount of food easily fed four adults with a Full take-home container when we were done. The Meza plate has an amazing assortment of food starting with a salad and then: Baba ghanoush, hummus, chicken, rice, gyro meat, falafel, Kibby and served with pita. If most of this sounds good to you just order it… You can order it for two people or for three people. It normally serves one person more. Today we ordered the eggplant moussaka plate for the very first time and it was excellent – lots of very tender and delicious eggplant cooked in a very rich garlic, tomato and onion sauce.

I was disappointed by the taste of the food. I expected more Greek flavor. It left more to be desired. However, waitress was very good with refills she was ontop of it very fast!! Just Wasn't impressed with the food. I am from Lafayette and Zeus is the best in Lafayette totally recommended if you are in the Lafayette area!!

Oh my God, I found my favorite new Greek restaurant in New Orleans. If you do not come to this place, then you're silly, that's all there is to it. Now, let me explain to you the reason that I'm giving you such an amazing, qualified and absolutely ridiculous testimonial. That is that the service here's absolutely amazing. The food is absolutely authentic, the people and the crowd of other guests are absolutely just amazing, and they allow service animals with no questions. If you're looking for amazing authentic, Greek, and Lebanese cuisine, this is the place to go.

Do not go here. The manager was screaming at me and refused to give extra salad dressing. They don’t understand how things work in this country and as extremely rude. This is the 2nd time I have dealt with their attitudes. I’m done. Much better options in this city

Great service, very good food and a LOT of food. Only improvements I would recommend is to include more than 1 kalamata olive with the entree, we love those olives! And play some traditional music over the speaker, not a repeating sleepy tune over and over.

Excellent service with hot and fresh food. Very clean atmosphere. They even make great burgers, too!

I'm not a big fan of Middle Eastern food. I don't know why. I like hummus. Maybe because it is so predictable; all such restaurants produce the same Schwarma. That said, i really enjoyed today's gyro on pita. My wife got the lentil soup and said it was great. Our waiter was friendly and quick-thinking. (Sorry i didn't get his name.) Looks like I'm going back.

I got the combination lunch with a substitution, and the Lebanese tea. Food was very good. Service was good till we tried to pay with cash. Was told they were short and asked we pay with a card. They still charged an additional fee for using a card.

The Alibasha in Metairie isn't compared to anything like the North Shore food quality. The schwana chicken plate chicken chicken was so dry that you needed a another set of teeth. The lettuce didn't even look like it was cleaned as part of the salad that comes with the dinner. I won't try this place again.

Smallest grape leaves! Very disappointed as I upgraded one of my sides to the meat grape leaves. I couldn't believe I was served 2 grape leaves smaller than a traditional pencil. It maybe had two grains of rice inside and not even a fourth of a teaspoon of meat. Absolutely ridiculous I definitely not worth the upcharge. Restaurant also forgot to put my Greek salad in the bag and when I went back in and asked about it My concern was kind of disregarded but I did receive my salad. Disappointed in service and quality.

This location like ALL the others are a GREAT experience. The service is unbelievable, as All of the on floor WAITRESS/ Waiters are on Task & On the Ball-- All of the staff checks on you throughout your dinning experience, asking how is everything, refill your drinks, clears table of Finished entrees. The Entree are large & presented hot ,quickness. The LUNCH specials are Great , Economical, and Tasty.*See Pics. The Restroom was spotless & CLEAN.

Great food and service! The stuffed grape leaves are perfect, the sauce just the right amount of tangy goodness. The shawarma ahd gyro plate more then enough. Highly recommend.

5yrs.ago a first date at your restaurant has turned into an amazing life with her. Tonight we return to enjoy the incredible food and service as the final plans are being made for our wedding in less than a month. Between the staffing changes and road construction near your restaurant, the welcoming feeling is ALWAYS present. 5 stars barely does this spot justice.

Wanted Mediterranean as we came in town to go to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. We had the $29 combo MEZA for 2. We couldn’t finish half of the food. Everything was tasty and will have again for dinner. Reminds me a having MEZA in Cyprus. If you want to try a good sampling of this food, this is the way to go. Good for 3 adults and a kid

Friendly staff, clean bathroom, good atmosphere, and overall the food was great. Even though, the veggie grape leaves were not tasty and the Lebanese tea tasted different than what I am normally used to at other Lebanese restaurant.

The WORST greek food I’ve had in the area, the chicken was cold the feta salad is meh, I hate their rice is simple, the lamb was disgusting, the hummus was just hummus, the Lebanese tea is not like any Lebanese tea I’ve tried before they don’t even have the seeds that usually goes in the tea, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, my husband got a huge hair on his plate and we didn’t make a big deal out of it, we told the waitress she removed the hair but we didn’t request a new plate or refund. Based on our BAD experience he decided to not tip. 2 days later he is being charged $20 tip for a $59 bill without his authorization. That’s almost 35%. The moment we left I told my husband “WE ARE NEVER EVER COMING BACK, THIS WAS TERRIBLE AND IT MESSED UP OUR SUNDAY LUNCH” and two days later they do this? This place is trash.

LOVE this place. My husbands family is Lebanese so we eat authentic middle eastern food often. Albasha hits the nail on the head when it comes to a delicious meal. I always get the Lebanese sweet tea and Albasha platter with beef. The staff is kind and the restaurant is well-kept and clean. We enjoy this place so much that we eat here every Sunday after church

This place is excellent. The food is amazing. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The service is fast and friendly. I have a good experience every time I visit. I had the lamb kabob with humus and salad. Everything is flavorful. This is one of my favorite places for middle eastern food. Highly recommended.

Fries were soggy. I had the chicken shawarma salad and there were no veggies besides 1 single olive. They overdid it on the dressing and feta. Chicken had a mealy texture.
