I was referred to Movement Specialists Physical Therapy by my pain management doctor and my neurosurgeon to help me with back and neck pain due to degenerative disc issues. Joe, who is my physical therapist, examined me, and through a combination of muscle manipulation, dry needling, traction, and stretching exercises, he has greatly improved my ability to bend my neck and back without pain. The whole group of physical therapists and assistants are very encouraging and friendly. I have been to other physical therapists, and they were never able to help me. Some even made my pain worse, but Joe and his team are miracle workers. They listen to you and reevaluate you each time they see you to make sure your therapy is progressing.

I highly recommend Movement Specialists Physical Therapy and was very lucky to be referred to this facility. Dee has helped me so very much with my lower back pain. She is very attentive, knowledgeable, and hands on every session. The environment of this small clinic is friendly, comfortable and very clean. All of the staff members are extremely professional and always know you by name. I will be discharged soon, but if I ever need PT again I will definitely return. Thank you Dee and Joe for keeping your clinic upbeat and stress free. Plus I love the music! ❤️

I have had a great experience with Movement Specialists. The staff is great and I’m treated wonderful every time I come in for therapy. I would recommend this place to friends, family and anyone needing therapy. They genuinely listen to my issues and not rush me to get my exercises done. Great physical therapy place! They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The receptionist, PT techs and the PTs all know your name and are very respectful. Dee, my PT, listens to me and understands my pain. She works to get me out of pain while making me stronger at the same time. The best PT place I have been too and sadly I have been to several.

I’ve experienced physical therapy a few times over the years due to a hip dislocation and when I hurt my shoulder I was referred to this PT. It is by far the most effective, personal and easy going. The therapists are very kind and attentive and the coordinator really makes you feel important. Most of all it works. Morgan and Christian took care of me and I really appreciated how good I felt within just 2 sessions. Thanks!

I have had a great experience working with all the staff at Movement Specialists! I have been going here for PT and dry needling both pre and post ACDF surgery for a year now and highly recommend them. You get a unique and quality experience when you are treated by top notch PTs rather than going to a large PT clinic chain. My PT, AJ, always takes the time to listen to my concerns, educate me on my condition, and he encourages me at the times where pain has made staying hopeful challenging. Lyle, one of the support staff, always greets me with a big smile and always there to lend an ear and a great joke! This is the first time in my life I have been consistent with PT and that is definitely bc of the PTs, staff, and feeling well cared for my the whole team!

Absolutely fantastic. The therapists have years of experience and develop plans to your individual needs. The techs and assistants are attentive, paying fine attention to the quality of the exercises. The staff is professional and patient with each individual. Highly recommend.

The staff here are the best around, after having previous physical therapy with Dayni years ago I reached out to her and found out she was at MVMT in Metairie near my home so it was a no brainier to make an appointment with her and MVMT physical therapist. The exercise program she put together not only helped my knee issues but also helped strengthen my hips which I didn't know I had issues with. Everyone here is super nice and always focused on your needs on a personal level. You walk in a stranger but leave like family. I highly recommend MVMT !!
