What an amazing place! As someone who is allergic to shellfish, I rarely go to “seafood places” as I am often disappointed with the whole experience. This eatery however was spectacular! I was thrilled with the fun and attentive staff, the “good vibes” atmosphere and I was surprised by how good my vegetarian meal was. The rest of the party enjoyed the steak and seafood, and there were plenty of buttery fingers, “wow this is amazing”, and “look at the size of this food!” for me to believe the other menus options were incredible as well! Everyone left even happier than when we arrived, which is a great statement for a restaurant. We will surely be coming back!

45 mins out of the way and it was worth every minute of driving. Great seafood and perfect to share with family! Server was great!

Wonderful. We had a larger party and had multiple dinner selections, from specials to menu items. Each plate was raved on. No missing items and all served together. The wait staff were friendly, engaging and attentive. The manager stopped by the table for a few minutes to visit. It was pleasant that they made themselves known without having an issue. Often the only time you encounter management is when it is too late. We will definitely visit again.

Went on a week night and glad I made the reservation. Very busy. Good service. Liked the background music. We got the lobster platter with 2 sections of Snow and Dungeness crab with a good number of large royal reds. It ain't cheap ($150+ for the platter), but was excellent and enough to take some home.

The whole experience here was great. The provide a premium product and great atmosphere. Though well justified, the only complaint I would have is the cost. $250 for a dinner for two.

Everything was superb. The food is so fresh and delicious. The crab was perfect! Omg the bread pudding!!! I didn’t have any room left!! The crab dip!!! Omg!!! They never miss!

I know everyone comes here for the seafood (and Grant definitely approves as you can see by his happy face with the crab and royal reds!) but my steak was probably the best I've had here in Mississippi! Perfectly cooked. Melt in your mouth tender. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I dine at JRS at least once a month. Everything from the street to the back door 💯. Hank, Mike, Daniel, Ory, Chris and the rest of the staff are as great as the food in the kitchen.
