For a DoubleTree I have much higher expectations. I've stayed in over 30 hiltons this year alone for work and this has to be one of the worst stays. Upon entry - the welcome wasn't the friendliest, even being a Diamond member. I felt pushed aside, had to ask for water, nor was informed of the dinning options or credits during my stay. How can you build brand loyalty without acknowledging your frequent guests?? The room: Even with the AC running, the room was extremely humid, the floor/towels/bedding were damp and there was a musty smell throughout the halls and room. The wifi wouldn't hold a connection and kept disconnecting me every 5 minutes. Parking: No one at the front desk informed me on the parking situation, had to call the help desk and front desk multiple times for them to open the gate. Customer Service: I wrote a comment to Hilton, said they would return my concerns within 3 days, it's been a week. Do yourself a favor and NOT stay here. Strongly considering switching to Marriott after this stay. I hope they replace their management and update their photos because it is not a true reflection of the experience.

I stayed at this hotel for the first time during an all female motorcycle event. The employees at this hotel was fantastic. When we needed more towels it was there. One of the elevators went down during our visit but it was fixed in a timely manner. The room was clean and the pillows were very comfortable. If you needed your room clean you had to request for it which was understandable. (Covid has changed everything). Lastly the cookies, the cookies, cookies they were so good! They handed these out as were where standing in line to check in along with a bottle of water. I would stay at this hotel again.

Being a Hilton Diamond this was by far the worst one I stayed in..hotel is very old could use some updatesā€¦was not up to covid 19 cleanliness status and to top it off there were No towels, no tissues, you spend over $ 400 to stay and have to pay for parking and $20 for breakfast . Ridiculous! Maybe they should consider making you aware of parking fees and $20 Per person breakfast fee. Some of the staff seem to be incapable to do their jobs or getting things done and the service was horrible. No microwaves! trash running over seem like on every floor Smdh! And yes maybe I am blowing the small things out of proportion but spend that type of money on what I though was a leading brand like Hilton I expect more all I wanted was clean towels and a shower curtain that was not ripped everything else that I noticed that didnā€™t go right took me to level 10 and not one manager took the time to make my simple getaway vacation right ever again Doubletree by Hilton NOLA (airport)

Great hotel, good rooms, wonderful location, lots of parking. Didnā€™t get to try the breakfast. Didnā€™t use the shuttle. The front desk at check in was very quick, she gave me an unkind face and seemed like she was in a hurry but she may have been trying to get to something else. They were very kind at check out.

Older property, clean and comfortable. I cannot recommend the resteraunt. My advise is to eat elsewhere. The parking is a challenge too, you cannot use the Hilton app room key feature to access parking. Defeats the purpose of contact less checking if you have to come in to get a key to access parking.

GREAT LOCATION. And some great people. Except for others who don't care about the leaky faucets in the bathroom, mattresses past their prime, a piece of the bathroom ceiling falling out, no place to put TP, a toilet flushing sound from the ice machine that could be heard in the room. AND Ms. Carla offering to comp 100% if I didn't post any negative reviews. SO she just comped 50% and made excuses for everything. NEVER offered to send anyone to validate what I said. Hallway filthy. I called the 800 number and they still make excuses for the Hotel, even though they did comp the night. NO NONE bothered to verify. Carla said the hotel was full and couldn't switch rooms. How about offering me another HOTEL? Pay Double Tree price for a Motel 6 quality hotel? And condescending staff. Not fun. Nena in the restaurant was a gem, and so were the bus drivers. Carla? Not so much, but she didn't care because she is moving out of State to another Hilton.

I stayed here for one night in late May as I had a flight out of MSY the next day. I was happy that I was able to check in early and the refreshments provided during checkin were quite welcome. I liked the quality of the bed and that the air conditioner was not too loud.

Friendly staff and service. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms in the rooms are very small and the toilets sit very low. The building is dated but refreshed. The fresh baked cookies are the best part of staying here! You can smell the cookies as soon as you enter the lobby. You must request your room to be refreshed. Otherwise, housekeeping will skip your room. There's an outdoor heated pool. This location is minutes away from the airport, car rentals, and many restaurants.

Beds were comfortable but floors were dirty. We stayed 4 nights but house keeping never came to clean the room. As a Hilton Honors member we never received our welcome gift or chocolate chip cookies.

Not sure why there are not very good reviews on Googleā€” I say ignore them! We had a fantastic stay. Rooms are extremely clean, beds very comfortable, staff are wonderful, the breakfast is beyond fully stocked, the shuttle service is fantastic and so convenient. Yes itā€™s a little bit of an older hotel but who cares?! Itā€™s clean, comfortable, convenient and I absolutely recommend staying here.

Close to the airport with a free shuttle. Clean newer rooms and friendly staff. Small bar with good food options. Good wifi. Pool very relaxing and big so never felt crowded.

There was a young, fair African American lady there who was extremely rude and unprofessional. The man near her was working and she was there doing nothing. When I asked her a simple question I got a rude remark and bad attitude. If you are going to work for someone's business you're to be professional at all times. You are not to be rude to any customer, visitor or guest. It have me a bad impression of this hotel.

I travel for work often and decided to give this hotel a try. Not a good decision at all. The greeting consisted of a cookie with the room key. Went upstairs to a filthy bathtub that at this point, couldnā€™t be cleaned it needs resurfacing. Instead of resurfacing it they placed a shower mat down. This is an older hotel and needs to be updated. Bed linens were not the best and barely tucked. The TV is outdated and is not a smart TV. The room felt damp. Went to the bar to find a stressed out waiter with an attitude who looked overworked. I didnā€™t even eat. Will not return here.

Friendly helpfull staff, good food. Rooms are a bit tired. Odd numbered rooms are a lot quieter being to the rear of the property. Even numbered rooms are to the front and suffer from traffic noise.

Iā€™m honestly not the type to write reviews however this double tree is 100% NOT recommended, I stayed here in September and got very sick to come to find out it was mold/bugs in the sheets. I was promised a refund by one of the representative and now that itā€™s November I have left over 10 voice messages, spoke to a few people and nobody has yet to help me! I normally like double tree but this specific hotel, and customer service is horrible!

Bartender needs a lesson in hospitality. We came in around 10:45p on a Friday evening with no idea of business hours, but casually walked to the bar to take a look and was promptly directed away with a most impolite "we're closed". Not a hello, a kind word, or a smile to be had.

Booked a king suite with a couch, and after check-in, they gave us a tiny room with 2 queen beds at 11pm after flying all day. Didn't want to move rooms. After all, we were exhausted from traveling all day. What a shame... I expected so much more especially from doubletree and Hilton. Not to mention, when we arrived, the bar was closed (by 11 pm on Friday night), and that's the main reason we chose to stay here.

I really didn't think I could dislike a hotel as much as this one. The parking lot is on a giant slant, so any carts you are using to unload luggage will likely slide away. You also aren't supposed to unload directly in front of the doors, but there are a few parking spaces dedicated to unloading in the front. The luggage carts are low quality and can only hold a couple of bags at a time, they barely fit through the handicap doors and, if you need the extra space and lay the cart horizontally, it will not fit in the elevator. When I got to my room, it smelled damp and the carts barely fit past the bed to unload. Overall, the experience left a sour taste.

The airport shuttle for this hotel takes an excessive amount of time. Stay here frequently for work and am always waiting 30+ minutes for the shuttle. While writing this review Iā€™ve been waiting 45+ minutes. Once there the staff is friendly but it is extremely frustrating waiting so long after a long travel day. Rooms are generally clean. And food is acceptable considering work pays for it.

My husband and I work in the industry and this was such an exceptional experience! Everyone has been absolutely wonderful, but Justin at the front desk and Suzy at the bar have been above and beyond! Thank you for such hospitality on my first trip here ā¤ļø

Davion greeted us and was most professional and friendly! I'd definitely come back. Of course, the warm cookies are the cherry on top of the cake!

Overall the customer service was really good at the hotel. However the wear and tear on the hotel was various obvious. The hotel needs some serious renovations and deep cleaning. In addition, the hotel required a parking fee which didn't seem to be the case for other nearby hotels. Good location with lots of restaurants nearby. The shuttle worked well too and was very helpful to getting to the airport.

The employees were great! Very nice and helpful. Location was okay. The room was okay. Thought itā€™d be nicer for a DoubleTree but it was cheaper than many places.

Great hotel with good amenities, close to the airport, restaurants, stores. The only thing I did not like was the way the parking was set up, but once I did go through the process it was alright, I think it should be more in details on how to work the parking during the reservation process. Overall was good, we will be visiting again for sure.

I gave the highest ratings on the room and location because of the cleanliness as well as the convenience in terms of location. I haven't tried the in-house dining, but the decor is inviting. There are easily accessible surrounding fast food restaurants for those who enjoy such fare. Although I was received warmly by Shampain, the overnight desk person (yes, that's the actual spelling of her name), the day-time desk person was borderline impolite. She was curt in response to my question about locating a conference room, which was paid for by the company that employs me, and so on. Do these employees not know that their behaviors can negatively influence their establishment's reputation and drive away business? Fortunately, another desk clerk came to my aid and politely addressed my needs. The other's rude and insensitive behavior is why the rating was lower for service. Otherwise, this seems to be a very good place to stay!

Convenient location, friendly service. I tried the pork chops at their restaurant, a bit on the dry side for me. I hear the red beans and rice are good I might try that next. I didn't enjoy the breakfast that was included with the room. They have some pastries that looked okay, but the eggs were scrambled and cold, and the bacon was soso.

I loved my stay. I will be booking with this company from now on. Clean hotel and nice service. Only complaints were for the money spent it should include free breakfast and maybe valet parking.

Thank you Doubletree for your hospitality. This is a first that Iā€™ve ever experienced a hotel that serves breakfast from 2 AM until 10 AM daily. So if youā€™re that person who wakes up in the middle of the night, wishing breakfast would hurry, fear, not! This property Delivers beginning at 2 AM.

Pros close to airport and Cafe du monde. Staff tries their best but this hotel is not good. After check in AC leaking. There was puddle in room. Staff had to clean it out. They came quickly. The bathroom is very small. The shower fills up with water. The ironing board was broken. They brought another one that was wobbly. It seems the owners do not care. The place needs complete remodeling. Only one working elevator. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. This needs to be downgraded to 2 star hotel.

Terrible. Charge extra for parking. There was someone sleeping in the ice room. The blankets provided are terrible and you will be cold. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything. Noise all night. Clicking, banging and people in the building. 0/10 would highly not recommend

I stayed there for a week. I was unaware that the rooms are only cleaned every 4th day unless you request 24 hours in advance. They do not even bring fresh towels daily without asking and there was a towel and linen shortage. On the 4th day when the linen was changed pillow cases were not put on all the pillows. The floors and bath tub was never cleaned. There was a fire one night and we were outside for 3 hours in over 100 degree weather and the hotel refused to give a discount to the quest. Staff was arguing with quest. I could not believe it. 98% of the staff was pleasant and then the other 2% were very rude. Overall stay away from this location.

Only reason I stayed was because it was a group event. My room was on a floor where a room had caught on fire. The whole floor smelled like fire soot. The sheets smelled like mildew, there was a lack of towels, room furniture was dirty, there's no laundry room, didn't get the microwave I reserved, and of course maintenance never came to fix the light. Horrible stay. I will stay somewhere else if they reserve at the hotel for next year.

The hotel is a 7-minute ride to the airport. Thereā€™s a few fast options nearby but not much else. There is a lobby bar and restaurant. The hotel is a little older but appears to be recently remodeled. Odd numbered rooms face the road and can be loud. The staff was kind and got me checked in quickly. The room was clean and a descent size. The bed was comfortable as were the linens. The bathroom was a little dated but clean with a shower and tub combo. Other Amenities: -Free WiFi (Hilton Honors) -Outdoor pool -Fitness room (nice and equipment) -Mini fridge -Buffet breakfast included or extra based on rate. -Free shuttle (every half

No towels, no tissues, low water pressure, u spend over 400 for rms and have to pay for parking. Ridiculous! Maybe they should consider making you aware of parking fees. Some of the staff was actually nice. But the service was horrible. No microwaves! My family came in from Texas and Florida and to plunge the toilet . No ice on your floor. Lobby trash running over. Smdh!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Free bottled water was very much appreciated during the summer heat. And the shuttle to and from the airport is a big plus.

Had a good layover here! Staff is wonderful! I like the fact that breakfast starts at 2am here! Ms. Pat is momma around the dining area so don't make a mess when fixing your food šŸ˜…. The food was good and my belly was happy! The elevator on the left needs to be serviced, lol. It does the Harlemshake going up and down! The cookies are the bomb! And they have a bar.

We chose this hotel last minute as we where driving to New Orleans. 1st timers to the area and I liked that it was close to alot of fast food places since we got in kinda late and those were the only places open. Hotel itself was nice, we did happen to be there when they were having a large party in one of the conference rooms. Normally that doesn't bother us but some of the guest were on our floor amd my kids said they could hear them coming off the elevator and they could also hear the kids from the party as well running down the hallways. That's pretty much my only complaint, hotel check in was smooth, parking is behind the hotel. The room was clean and I was shocked to see that the window opened up because I'm not use to being able to do that but my daughter loved looking out that night and morning to watch the airplanes go by. Overall nice its a hotel to rest up at.

This is an amazing Hotel! There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs! Extremely clean & CROWD READY! The pool area & seating in back was awesome. They were UNDERSTANDING of the fact that we were celebrating & having fun as adults! We just needed housekeeping to give us clean towels & bedding as we were there for THREE DAYS! We were told by a service person the washing machine was broken. I think they had just grown tired of us as a group! But we are returning......soon! So get the machine ready! We love DOUBLETREE ā¤ļø

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Service was a bit slow but she was still friendly. Bed was comfortable. Only downside was that it sits on top of a metal frame that has a "tin-like" frame around it. It was a bit noisy at first but once I settled in it went away. Fridge in room. Near some quick shops like McDonalds and coffee. Overall good stay.
