Came here looking for ribs, didn't want to go to steers. I had high hopes for this place given how busy it always is. Ordered the pork Ribs bbq, beef Ribs peri and chips. I must say I am thoroughly disappointed, the beef Ribs were chewy, dry and the peri sauce was just plastered ontop so wasn't really marinated in it. Then the pork Ribs were not sticky bbq at all leaving this a very pricey fail! The chips were thin cut fries, nothing special. The place has a TGI Fridays vibe but completely misses the mark on the food. Maybe the burgers might offer a different experience but fool me once...

Had the Ribs Wings and fries combo which is great for 2 to share. Ask for Star who is a great and attentive server.

I loved the place, i loved the atmosphere and i love the waitresses. Had my 3 meals there breakfast, lunch and takeaway supper/dinner. For breakfast had a burger and chips. The burger was quite tasty and filling though it was a bit burnt on the edges thats why for food i give 4 stars, had some nice wings for lunch then pork ribs and chips for the evening. The food taste was heavenly and the place is spotless. The hygiene standard is par excellence. Would recommend thought that the toilets be checked and cleaned regularly because there were some toilet paper which was on the floor in the morning till evening and urinal. Oh and the mango-orange juice is out of this world... keep it up guys

Food was amazing and the kids had fun. They just need to make sure the food gets on the table hot because most of the food was cold except for the wings. Other than that all was amazing. Thanks to the manager on duty for making us fresh ribs after the ones we ordered were cold and dry.

Their milkshakes are amazing! However on multiple occasions the waiters were not professional, one even sat on our table whilst she took orders. On my sister's birthday lunch she was served ribs that had gone off manager had to intervene. I'm always hoping for a better experience because I really do love their milkshakes but I'm yet to be fully satisfied.

The atmosphere is alright, the ambiance isn’t the best, the seating options aren’t great because of the lack of comfort however, the food and service makes up for that. Meals are fairly priced.

RocoMamas. A buzzing happening place. The chicken wings were superb. And what a variety of burgers. We were a big group and each one had something of their own choice. Also do try their milkshakes.

RocoMamas Borrowdale is a very nice place to choose especially for burger-lovers. Once you have a smashburger it's hard to revert back to the ordinary type. You might want to opt for indoor seating especially during peak hour evenings to avoid the movement of the drive-through close by. We had a friendly waiter who ensured we were comfortable and took us through the various menu options and how to place our order on the order form (first timers here). We particularly liked the customisable burger (great for picky eaters like myself) and within about 10 minutes, our order was ready. The burger was yummy, though my only concern was the caramelised onions which I found very sweet and not the best contrast with the hair other savoury ingredients. I also was a bit disappointed with the cheese sauce for the cheese-loaded fries as it had a grainy texture (tasted better when I had it the following day though) but what is food when you don't try out the different options. RocoMamas meal portions are pretty large so you'll most likely pack for the road. Your bill will also be on the higher side (especially if you are not a Harare local) but it's all worth the experience. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it and go there again the next time we're in the capital. Definitely going back for the ribs and wings.

Their burgers are ridiculously huge and we love it!!!!! Do expect to spend a pretty penny. But it's worth the experience.

RocoMamas is the place where you can build your own burger and trust me you will love it. One of the few places with a wide selection for non pork takers. On the other hand if bacon is your best part of the day, these fellas will send you home satisfied and edified The staff was very friendly and I got it with all the extras I had asked for. A newbie like me wasn't made to feel like a front door mat. They broke down every bit of the menu, and delivered it as ordered. The taste was over the moon. I could see myself flying without wings. Each bite led to another. At some point I had to stop driving, park the car and concentrate on my hearty meal. There is no ounce of stinginess in me so I had gotten extras for my family just to make sure the experience doesn't end with me. Thank you RocoMamas... Next time I'm in Harare I'm coming back

enjoyed the ribs although the sweet fire wings were beyond Hot actually could not finish them at all. definitely a playful environment with a lot of kids and loud noise and games like Jenga which was fun to play. the staff seemed to be overwhelmed with the crowd so ended up getting our order mixed but overally friendly staff.

Really nice atmosphere, it has changed a lot from the last time I was there, from the service, the food and in general everything. We had the $10 brunch special which was a choice between wings and cheese balls, then burger another choice between a beef and chicken burger and lastly waffle ice cream sandwich with icing sugar, syrup and a dash of cream on top. We also ordered a drink from their bar menu...a Mojito which was a bit different from the ones I have had. Oh I almost forgot the burger comes with fries and a yummy dip. You do have and option to get a doggy bag for those with small stomachs lol All in all it's a cool place to visit and you can go there on a $50 budget or less depending on how many you are

My first time there, ordered burgers but unfortunately they had just run out of buns. We waited quite a while for them but I'm giving 5 start because the waiter that took care of us was great! he kept coming by to check if we were okay and to reassure us he would get us our food to us as soon as possible.

Good food. Service has definitely improved. We had an attentive waiter(Rocket) who communicated very well during a busy night. Prices are bit on the average, burgers ranging from $6-$14. However i Really did love their ribs. Would recommend for friends who don’t mind laughing and waiting through the noise of the next table that’s just a footstep away.

The food was soooo tasty. It's not my typical go to. I like more homey, stewy comfort food or finger founds and wraps, you know, café food. But I really enjoyed it. You can tell that they don't compromise on the quality of their ingredients which is why it tastes soooo good! The portions were quite large for what I typically go for, but everyone else was extremely happy with the big portions. I ordered a burger and some chilli cheese fries. The fries where honestly the highlight for me. I will go back next time I'm in Harare, just for the fries! I ordered a mint mojito too. It was fine. I wish they had strawberry mojitos on their menu. Our waiter was nice but nice but messed up our orders despite us filling those little forms. I tasted my sisters wings and my mom's ribs. All great!

The experience was good, I liked the spicy wings more, waffle and ice cream and the care Spiderman, one of the waiters, gave us. We went there as a family on Friday night, with regular expectations, and I think they were met. The ribs were too oily and could use a bit of improvement, but other than that, it was a fair experience.

Beautiful meal experience. The servers here are super friendly and make the ordering great. They'll sit with you and make sure they understand the order fully. I would recommend there buffalo wings as well as the turbo chips. If you can handle hot, the turbo chips 🍟 are best with chilli or jalapeños. We have found it to be a great place to go no matter the occassion

Best burgers in town, check. Went to rocomamas during the evening and wow I'll start with the view. It's located at a strategic place where if you sit on their outside seats you'll just get an out of Zimbabwe nice going vibe and view there. The food was exceptional. They have some great burger deals and they do not disappoint. The cocktails where also, although a bit strong, totally delicious and generous. The one thing that did not really meet standard was customer service. The waitress who received us and gave us the menus left us for 10 minutes unattended and we really never spoke to her again despite her running around and serving those around us. We had to call on another waiter and explain the situation. But once we got the new waiter, he was fast, attentive and efficient and everything went really well. A place definitely worth dinning in.

The food was amazing, served fast and the atmosphere is pretty good. The food is also reasonably priced PLUS you look cool just sitting in there to bystanders. HOWEVER, THE PARKING THAT SIDE OF THE VILLAGE WALK IS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS... had to park so far from the place after struggling to find parking for twenty minutes.. 😩😩😩

I think the staff is very friendly (some could find them overwhelming). Environment is pleasantly different and is a refresh from the usual setups. Food is good, portions are also big.

Location is ideal allows one to enjoy their meal in peace and the staff are well trained to advice you if one has trouble. The food almost looks like it does it the pictures and flyers. Just make sure your wallet is fat enough.

Great place for a burger fix. As the months have weighed on I feel that they have slid in terms of customer service (huge delays and much fewer smile especially at the take away area) and food quality. I hope you'll step it up!

If you love burgers this is the place to visit. The range is amazing. The staff friendly and professional. This particular branch/store is in one of Zimbabwe's affluent neighborhoods - generally safe, guarded parking with CCTV.

Pricey hamburger spot that seems to be popular with the wealthy folks. I didn't get to try the food because we met a friend for a short time. We were a group of 7 and ordered drinks and milkshakes. The service was good and I was satisfied by the milkshakes. Not the best but far from the worst. I loved the hand washing station in the dining area. I may try some of the food on my next visit to Zim. *Be prepared. Prices are higher than the average burger spots in the U.S.

Terrible service with great food. I hated the long wait. I waited over an hour for my take away order and saw a few folks who came after me getting served before me. I asked only to find out that they hadn't even started making my order yet. I stood at the counter for a long time until this chap assisted me by personally looking for my order. I had a long journey ahead of me and was really disappointed. And because of the pandemic I wanted to be in store for as short a period as possible. The only highlight was that the food was fantastic. The burger and the wings were delicious. If service was timeouts I would have given a great review.
