Paula's
Place
is
a
popular
restaurant
that
is
best
known
for
its
piri
piri
chicken
although
it
serves
all
manner
of
dishes
from
fish
to
steak.
It
also
has
a
supermarket
and
small
bar
inside
of
the
establishment.
The
supermarket
sells
various
Portuguese
foodstuffs,
wines
and
canned
goods.
I
have
watched
Paula's
Place
expand
and
evolve
over
the
past
3
or
4
years,
more
recently
despite
the
pandemic
crisis
which
saw
a
curfew
of
3pm
which
has
only
been
lifted
in
the
last
couple
of
days.
The
food
and
service
is
always
very
good
and
was
no
exception
on
my
last
visit
there.
Although
it
is
a
little
expensive
I
would
absolutely
recommend
it.
Currently
if
visiting
one
would
need
to
arrive
by
18:30
if
you
wanted
a
table
and
dine
in.
However,
myself
and
guest
arrived
at
18:15
and
it
was
fairly
empty,
not
surprising
given
the
recent
lifting
of
the
3pm
curfew.
