Loved loved the restaurant.The hostess was very attentive and friendly. The staff was also attentive..made us laugh. I really felt at home. The food was delectable and the cook didn't take forever. The atmosphere of the place...the music it gets you relaxing

I'm not a fan of cheese cakes, a great friend somehow convinced me to try Paula's granadilla cheese cake and i reluctantly did😅 This is truly an addictive taste because I have never found a cheesecake that I will eat and say, "I'll eat that again... If you are ever in Harare, a stop at Paulas will be worth your while, and you will return for more. The staff is soo friendly💯

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. They offer free wifi which is a plus. I loved the hand washing station that is located in the main dining room. The wait staff was so friendly. The manager came out to check on us during our meal and she was super friendly. The food was tasty and my medium well steak was perfect. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Harare.

Had lunch at Paulas Place -Waiters polite & efficient We ordered: Starter: Giblets (ITS A NO, TOO MUCH TOMATO PUREE) & Trinchado (i loved this) -Very big portion for 2. Main: 1/4 chicken & pork chop with rice 1/4 chicken & prawns with chips -under seasoned chicken, overcooked prawn, pork was okay. The trinchado was perfect perhaps i shouldve ordered that for the main. The chips were nice and crunchy on the outside+soft on the inside. -the food was hot. Overall experience: Pleasant service & hospitality 10/10 Food 5/10

Shout out to the young man Tinashe/ Kadiki he was a very attentive waitress. Absolutely amazing service. I didn’t like my main dish. The ribs didn’t taste fresh. However, the desert was homemade ice cream and absolutely loved it. It was that good.

Proper food. No messing around with decorating your plates with flowers and sprinkles. You plate comes full with food that tastes awesome. Add the garlic sauce just to make sure!

Came here to celebrate New Years. Extravagant prices for some tiiiiiny dishes, even more for wine pairing (which we realized later...our fault, perhaps). Was disappointed to see that there was no live band/any music for the price. Food was delicious, but was just expecting something more special to ring in the new year.

Paula's Place is a popular restaurant that is best known for its piri piri chicken although it serves all manner of dishes from fish to steak. It also has a supermarket and small bar inside of the establishment. The supermarket sells various Portuguese foodstuffs, wines and canned goods. I have watched Paula's Place expand and evolve over the past 3 or 4 years, more recently despite the pandemic crisis which saw a curfew of 3pm which has only been lifted in the last couple of days. The food and service is always very good and was no exception on my last visit there. Although it is a little expensive I would absolutely recommend it. Currently if visiting one would need to arrive by 18:30 if you wanted a table and dine in. However, myself and guest arrived at 18:15 and it was fairly empty, not surprising given the recent lifting of the 3pm curfew.

Team is full of energy, always cheery, and service is fast. Food is absolutely first class, definitely in the running for best chicken in Zimbabwe. Will carry on frequenting!

What a lovely place to go to at any time of the day. Getting in the restaurant you are welcomed with smiles. The service is the best,the waiter will be checking on you all the time. Their strawberry daiquiri was alright as well. I wouldn't mind going back again.

One of the best chickens one can ever test. The marinade is the secret of Paula's Place. If you test it you will tell a story that no one will understand you unless they try it themselves.

Was told this place dies the best chicken in Harare. Honestly it did not wow me. Staff were pleasant and welcoming given we did not book a table in advance. Positive point is, you get a whole chicken for $15 with full meal, loved it

It was real value for money. I also love the homey atmosphere there. I have been to a couple of places and having someone from the management come and check up on us was the winner. A star for great food. Another for value for money, a star for great service, another for attentiveness and lastly a big star for prices within ones budget 😊

This festive season makes this one of the busiest places in town and the meals may be rather delayed compared to the usual service. However the wait is worth it especially when it comes to the Paulas steak with their secret sauce 😋

A fantastic gourmet dining experience in a beautiful setting! Service was great and the waiters knew all the details about the food and preparation. The service was atrocious. Ordered a medium steak, it was well done and dry. The mushroom sauce was runny and tasteless and my drink order was messed up twice

I've always liked this place, but it is now getting worn, disappointed my icecream and honey comb had not set properly but will still give it 4 out of 5 as it is charming, Andrew is a gracious host and the rest of the meal was good.

Hosted a dinner party there recently and was very disgruntled by the service. The food was served late, the ox-tail was off, their steak was hard, not to even mention the ridiculously small portions that were served!! For the amount of money l paid l was very angry!! Wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone!! Its over-rated clearly!!

I can say this the decor and service is splendid. But they lack on only one thing, the food. For the appetizer they gave me this chicken soup that was too oily, so oily that the oil overcame the flavours of the soup. The main course was worse. Yes, I've been to a myriad of restaurants and fast food places that serve pork ribs so I can safely say my comment isn't biased. Their pork ribs were beyond terrible. This comment is from a very recent visit and their pork ribs...... WEREN'T SATIABLE AT ALL. From the dry taste to the tangy aftertaste, the ribs left me in a quite nauseous state. The ribs weren't that rare either. They were partially cooked and had the paste all covered up outside to hide the horrendous dish lurking inside leaving me with a very disappointed look. Their Nuggets we're worse. They tasted like fried dough and didn't have even a hint of meat in them. I LOVE meat but what they did to theirs made me hate it. I won't really discourage people from going there but frankly speaking go there at your OWN RISK.

Not impressed. This used to be a place where quality was guaranteed and Paula came across as a big colourful personanilty but yesterday my chicken was raw at the bone and Paula's attitude unfriendly. It's also not kid friendly at all. I think I'll save myself the drive from now on.
