👍 This place was so beautiful! We had breakfast and the chef freestyled our order which we were pleased with. The waiter however, was very slow and got our drinks orders wrong and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Overall the experience was great ,the place is amazing with great outdoor ambiance...     Really nice relaxed place to eat and meet up. You're not rushed, the staff is very friendly and the traditional food is delicious 😋

    Hidden gem for me. This place doesn’t get the hype it deserves. The food tastes so good. I like that it seems secluded and doesn’t get too packed. They don’t serve alcohol but they allow you to bring your own if I remember well. Your food comes covered in some plastic wrap, I don’t know if that’s a positive thing or not but thought I should mention it because it was my first time experiencing that.

    The food was terrible. We had Rotten beef bones and tasteless ox tail. Ruined my Christmas holiday and still having the after effects till now. First attempt after 5yrs, I really feel the standards have dropped extremely for the prices charged. Very disappointed.

    I had a very awful experience. The food was late and the waiter disappeared after giving us food, never checked if we wanted anything else. The offals were undercooked. They gave us wrong prices and only changed them when we were about to pay.

    Truly authentic traditional Zimbabwean cuisine, with friendly staff. If In and around Harare make it a point to visit. Found the Maguru (tripe) and veggies (kale variant) meal amazing 👌🍴

    After years of being loyal to them, I will not return. I was served burnt food as a takeaway. Had to give it all to the dog. The management acknowledged error, with no remorse. Go to gavas, or you're better off buying a dollar deal. The standards here have dropped drastically.

    Paid $73 and received under cooked pink oxtail that smelled awful. Tried calling the listed number but the line was off. We are taking the food back to them and fingers crossed we do not get sick! :(. Food was delivered in $8 trays and it was dripping everywhere. Presentation was terrible and it tasted even worse. Have taken pictures.

    Great wait staff and food was fresh and very tasty and came with a complimentary plate of beans. I'd recommend the oxtail and the beef bones are great too. Although we did find it rather on the steep side price wise.

    Poor oxtail. Was not falling off the bones. in fact my teeth could not tear off the meat. What a waste of money! Wouldn't recommend the oxtail to anyone.

    Located in Long Chen Plaza which has a number of reasonably priced mega stores stocking every day goods, Kapoto serves great Zimbabwean cuisine. Their oxtail with sadza (traditional starch staple in Zimbabwe and much of the Southern Africa region) is highly recommended!
