Spent my birthday there last year and I was really really happy. I still remember every little detail about it. I didn't get to see the bird show because it began raining but I'm hoping that the next time I go there I will see it.

Nice outdoor place. The infrastructure is a bit old though and can do with some refurbishment. Quite a wide variety of activities including fishing, boat riding, horse riding etc

Situated at the lakeside it's a place to catch a breather, a sundowner and some intimate moments with a large variety of birds. The bird show was great and educational - with a little interaction. The caged birds make me sad but knowing the conservation and education aspects of the work done here make up for it. candyfloss available. 😍🥰

Great bird experience

Breathtaking views, i mean wow! Their friendly staff makes you feel right at home. I had a chicken burger with chips, the homemade patty on that burger was so yummy and filling, i hardly finished the meal🤣. I especially loved the Birds exhibition at the end. #littleparadiseinzimbabwe

Nothing quite like being surrounded by birds, greenery and Lake Chivero. Each time I visit Kuimba Shiri it feels like a new experience. The only thing that I wish they'd improve on is the restaurant, last time it took them ages to get our orders and even longer to serve our milkshakes. Their milkshakes were so poorly done we had to ask for a refund. Aside from that one incident we really love it here, ideal for family outings and when you just want to escape from the city. The bird show at the end of the day is always so memorable.

This is a great place for nature and bird lovers. Great variety of birds to see and you should see the birds being trained. The guys there have great knowledge of the birds in their care. They will tell you that they are 'Falconers' and indeed they are. Sanctuary for birds and the amazing thing is if the birds want to fly away they are allowed. So in a way all the birds you see there stay because they feel at home.

It delivered what was promised. Birds of prey. The bird collection is amazing. Even though they are caged, they are well looked after. The grounds are lovely and staff are helpful and friendly. Food choices are as valuable as well as a full bar.

On sunday we visited Kuimba Shiri Bird park i like this place very much completely open air, pocket friendly. They have vast variety of birds walking area, sitting place, fishing ,restaurant, horse riding, toilet and beautiful greenery area they have.. highly recommended to all who are searching for nice place with in a budget... Entrance fees is $5 per person infants and toddlers are free to go without any charges..

Loved loved this place! The place was nice the service amazing! The birds, the lake, the bird show at the end of the day was amazing! You can have your meal lake side you kids will love it. The birds are stuff i have never seen.

The place is wonderful and the birds are amazing,not to mention the lake which is nice.The experience there was one of a kind and I think I will definitely come back here to check on the 🐦.The restaurant also served great dishes.What a treat,you definitely have to visit the place someday.

This.is an idyllic setting with an extremely impressive collection of birds of prey. We were taken round by our knowledgeable guide Tonderai. After seeing the aviary we were then served a wonderful meal. I recommend the Nyama Platter; absolute perfection. Lovely place to spend a day with children within an hour's drive of Harare.

It is a great getaway place. But do visit early as they close at 4PM. The ambience is tranquil. Nice place to take family. Service was great and would visit again.

Such a lovely experience, lakeview is beautiful. I enjoted the bird show and learning about the birds. Cant wait to go for a boat cruise next time. Its just before you reach the tollgate. Highly recommend their nyama platter 😊 Entry for adults into the bird park is us$6 per adult, us$2 for parks just before you turn into the rd per vehicle.

Excellent spot for bird viewing, and enjoying a little picnic overlooking Lake Chivero. It is a perfect spot for family and children and they have a solid collection of beautiful birds, some quite exotic.

Lovely place to go with the family, lots for the kids to do, nice food, amazing views and the birds show is also great.

Excellent open recreational spot so near from Harare

Beautiful ,unique bird park. really enjoyed my afternoon there.There are many things to see and do at this park. For example,you can get to see lots and lots fo birds ranging from the exotic parrots, macaws, all the way to our local birds like the Fish eagle,owls,vultures ,falcons etc. There is great staff ,polite and well mannered. There is a 4pm bird show where the owner gets to show you the different birds and tell you how they operate,eat and their history. There is also a good restaurant and bar and various other activities at this beautiful bird park

The place is stunning. However, took us 2h30 min to get lunch, if they can improve that, then 4 stars.

It's a brilliant 3-4 hour tour & decent options for lunch. Tiritose Sustainable Travel combines the bird park with a game drive inside the Park, where Rhinos are the biggest draw card just a few minutes outside the city. We timed it right today and right after the walk seeing the bird rescues, it was time for the daily exercise of aming others the falcon. Absolutely magnificent!

Excellent experience all around confirmed. Wish they was someone to take you through the place like a tour guard or maybe get a list of the activities available.

Was a lovely day out. The bird park has been done up so nicely. Lunch was yummy. They have a great train for the kids to ride and offer pony rides as well.

I love this place! It has a lovely atmosphere and the birds are well cared for. I enjoy the bird displays where they fly owls and hawks normally around 330pm or 4pm depending on the season.

Awesome place to visit when you find yourself in Zimbabwe. Relaxing and peaceful environment. Abundant wildlife and premier gift shop and bar service. Daily shows with professional handlers.I would certainly visit again if I find myself traveling back to Africa.

Beautiful place to spend an evening. It is a bird sanctuary where they keep injured birds and rehabilitate them. Variety of birds are there and some of them are imported from outside of africa like peacock, mandarin ducks etc. It's a shame that they don't allow outside food now. And oh yeah, there is a beautiful lake and you can sip beer sitting lakeside and enjoying a beautiful sunset.

Milkshakes is one thing not to order unfortunately(Told the waiter and he did nothing about it's literally ice and milk, Maybe the double thick is better(But I wasn't willing ti find out) , and Thier waiters don't look happy well particularly the one who served us today, But in overall I would recommend it as a top visit, And everyone there is friendly

Its a very beautiful place by the lakeside ,with clean and fresh air. Its ideal for those who want to connect with nature in a very serene setup about 25minutes drive from the city centre. For those that love to relax and unwind from the rush and bustle (and sometimes stressful ) of city life this is a very nice place. A variety of drinks and meals are also served here.

Warm and hospitable crew!

Very nice place to have a relaxing weekend, kids friendly (ample space for them to run around, swings and a swimming pool). To enjoy more activities it's wiser to book as a group as some of the activities have a minimum number eg the speed boat needs a minimum of 6 people and the house boat needs a minimum of 10 people.

Always reliable well-cooked meals, of your fish, or steak & chips style. Prices are in USD, which may be a little high for some. Beautiful lakeside view to enjoy for the day. Motorboat trip to look round the lake. Fantastic bird park with a 4pm interactive outdoor display to teach visitors. Lovely open large spacious lawn area for kids to have fun & games. Overnight accomodation is decent at 40usd for up to 6 people sharing. Only 25 min drive from Harare & its OK for a normal car travelling there.

Great place for families. The kids loved seeing all the different birds and learning about them. The bird show is absolutely amazing. Kids loved the play ground and the huge open space to play. Kids can swim, ride a horse and go on the little train too. The meals were good and fairly priced. Drinks selection good and well priced too. The only down side was the lack of running water when we were there. They should probably also shift from rubbing soap to a pump bottle especially in light of Covid-19. This does not take away from how amazing the place is though. We have been here a number of times over the years and will definitely be visiting again.

The park is still recovering from the Covid-19 lull. There is determination to bring it up. All the structures are in place. Visitors should start coming in for the spring and summer.
