The Botanical gardens are a wonderful place to spend a couple hours relaxing and getting away from the city noise. There are a couple zebras and an oryx near to the pool where the metal animal statues are located. The park itself is not a big thing in terms of botanical garden, but it's atmosphere is very peaceful and it's so easy to get relaxed. I recommend it for a walk if you are in town.

Entry prices as at Jan 22 Adult $2 Child $1 Dog $1 plus a $2 or $3 parking fee for some reason so park in a nearby street if you want to save. It's more lawns and trees than anything else these days but nice place to take things easy.

Exactly what it should be, a Botanical Garden. Lovely place for a walk or a bike ride or a dog walk.y family and I went Geocaching the other day, very fun. The Geocache was in the Gardens so it was a great excuse to go there. A little bit of LANTANA though, which should be delt with quickly. Over all a lovely place which I definitely recommend!

It's looking so much better than a couple of years ago...nice to see the lake being restored. More visitors needed, maybe an app with a map and the tree and plant info. The app could be purchased and could include a weekly family pass.

Very clean surroundings, serene and natural. Unsafe areas such as the pool being constructed should be barricaded and appropriate safety signage erected. Can be unsafe for children.

Except few cactus flowering plants, the rest of trees are similar to the forest. It might be more interesting for botanical students and others it will be good walk in the fresh air of the trees. It's in a silent area away from the crowds of the busy harare. Entry ticket is 10 Zim dollars for everyone.

This is still a beautiful botanical garden, with an impressive range of indigenous plants and trees. It is worth taking some time out to visit and a beautiful place for a walk. The gardens also provide a lot of information on the country as a whole. Entrance is only $5. The gardens also provide a great retreat from city life.

It is a beautiful environment, A place to place to relax and enjoy the scenery. I do think it could do with a bit of revamping for buildings that are there and on occasion events are hosted there which tends to go against the quiet nature of the environment.

A great place to walk and commune with nature. Expansive gardens right in the midst of Harare. Great venue to walk the dog too!

Beautiful walks but the gardens are needing some serious attention. Grass and weeds need cutting
