Great place to visit!! Especially if you are a nature lover. I had the chance to visit Wild Is Life and it was a beautiful experience. I fed the giraffes, I have seen a pangolin for the first time and many other wild animals. So if you ever have the opportunity, please visit it! You won't regret it. I have also posted some pictures for your reference. Enjoy it!

WOW!!!! This place is an absolute must do if you’re in the area. We were blown away by the service of ALL staff, especially the knowledge of young Sean. Zimbabweans sure know how to combine luxury and eloquence with rustic and traditional. Impressive place that shows the forward thinking of those running this gem. This was without question the highlight of our recent trip back to Zimbabwe and it’s left us with a lasting impression of the hope and future that lies ahead for these amazing animals. They are in the most capable of hands. Thank you all for such an AMAZING experience and we will ensure to direct people your way 🙏 Edit: GOOGLE MAPS - just a tip…we searched the directions here on Google maps before we left our hotel and while we were still connected to the Wi-Fi and it took us straight there with no trouble at all. You don’t need mobile data to use Google maps, however if you want Google maps to talk the directions to you then just make sure you “search and start” the directions whilst you’re still connected to Wi-Fi. Works every time anywhere in the world.

An unique and wonderful experience!!! The guides are friendly and informative. Learned quite a lot from them. It's a special moment to be so near to those wild animals and know stories behind them. Delicate and delicious desserts/snacks plus nice tea/coffee/wine are served. The decors and design of dining area and shops are stylish with amazing details. $95 is a bit pricey to many people but trust me it's totally worth it!! Big thumbs up to those who take good care of the wild animals in the sanctuary and will definitely come again when I visit Harare next time.

A must visit sanctuary in Harare. Kudus to the team for their hospitality and the knowledge of the preservation of wild life. The experience was worth each penny. The entire experience was covered with a walk to feel giraffes, to watching elephants drink milk like babies to lion feeding on horse racks and meeting the almost extinct pangolin. Followed by some champagne and canopies all for just $95.

What a special place, the work they do here for animals is phenomenal. They offer incredible tours and high tea and you can even feed the giraffe’s which is such a unique opportunity. It’s about a 10 min drive from the airport, and we visited while we had a 3 hour wait for our covid test results for our next flight, well worth the trip. Don’t miss the special place.

A lovely place with a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly guides. It's touching how personally they know the animals and the work put in to saving them. It's maybe half an hour out from Harare cbd (in the direction of the airport) and the experience is 3 hours long at 90usd per head so although pricey it's a great little escape for adults and it's a fun and educational experience for children. Everything happens around one main area so no game drives or any of that. I enjoyed feeding the giraffe and seeing the baby elephants. The barn area is stunning.

Amazing experience in Harare. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Feeding the giraffe and watching the baby elephants play set the tone. This place is a blessing for hurt animals. Support it by visiting. The great tea food, pizza and cocktails are also a plus.

This place is magical. We were received with a welcome drink and then guided around the wonderful park and given lots of background information on the animals by the passionate and knowledgeable staff. The environment is well kept and the animals are clearly well cared for. The re-wilding program is the main objective with many animals and this is being facilitated in a effective and respectful manner. The high tea is a lovely addition to the experience in a beautiful setting. Rounding off the experience with canapés & drinks while the sun set was just gorgeous. The love for the animals and their welfare is paramount here and that is felt throughout the whole experience.

Wild is Life is definitely the best wildlife experience in Harare. The price is 100% worth it. Angela the tour guide is great and has amazing knowledge on the all the animals. The history behind each animal is amazing and very interesting. The snacks are wonderful. The staff are well trained and very friendly. All the animals are properly taken care of better than most places I have been to around Africa.

Wow what a special place! This sanctuary deserves all the praise for what they do for the animals, and the staff truly make it wonderful for visitors. We were able to interact with the animals closer than expected while learning all about their individual journeys, with tea and champagne in the most beautiful barn overlooking all the animals. Highly recommend!

This was just a magical place. I went during the afternoon session from 330pm to 630pm. Our guide was lovely, knowledgeable, and engaging. I asked her so many questions and she answered all of them. The work they are doing is commendable and worth the time and visit. I'll recommend this place to anyone visiting Harare. The only thing is, make sure you have scheduled (through email) with them before you go. Otherwise, you'll not be able to visit. (I made that mistake). Also, make sure you properly give your driver the location cause it's not very intuitive getting there.

Went on Saturday with family friends. A really excellent afternoon, and highly recommended. Make sure to book well ahead - only a limited number of visitors, and great hospitality made us feel very welcome. You can get really close to the animals, which are treated with great respect and given excellent facilities. The hosts are very knowledgeable and the experience and facilities thoughtfully designed.

Amazing experience! A must to do if you are around Harare. The guided tour through the reservation was great, our tour guide Angela was really knowledgeable about the wildlife and their stories. We were also offered coffee/tea with a variety of sweet cakes. Done doubt about going here, GO! Book your spot in advance, as depends on the time of the year there might be high demand.

Great great place for weddings. Her deco was superb. However the owner of the place is so rude and bosy.Had my wedding there August 2017. Not really a happy customer after paying so much money. 1. My wedding finished around 8pm instead of 10.30pm after she instructed the radio to be switched off because of "noise" 2. She wouldn't allow us to put our bottled water on tables because water will spoil her cloth. 3.wouldnt even help with a fridge to store ice cream for a while. 4. After paying her all her package money she's something else. Would go on and on.

Wild is Life is a genuine wildlife orphanage and rehabilitation rescue centre.Guests are invited to visit the Sanctuary for trully memorable personal encounters with wildlife orphans. Bookings are essential and visits are limited to afternoons only. All proceeds from the guest visits are used for the running and maintenance of the Sanctuary.

Came here to visit on last day of my holiday in Zimbabwe. What a lovely end to the trip. Got to feed the giraffes which was great. Got to see the baby orphaned elephants which are being looked after here and heard all about them as animals and how they ended up here. the place is really well laid out and run nicely. The champagne, high tea and cake and canopes are an added bonus to the trip there. The cost is quite high but is nice as a one off treat.

Very well ran sanctuary. Please keep in mind it is a sanctuary. If you are someone who has traveled through Zim’s National Parks then you may find this experience more catered to the novice wildlife visitor. There is no touching or petting of the animals as seen on some social media profiles. All handling is done by the staff.

This sanctuary is a hidden gem. We had a beautiful afternoon spent seeing the different animals and just taking in the experience. The high tea and bubbles was definitely a lovely treat & everything was beautifully set up. Thank you to Christine and Sean, they were both super friendly and generous with their knowledge of the animals. YOU HAVE TO BOOK PRIOR - they are very responsive on all their social interfaces.

This is the second time we have visited and it was wonderful. This company does such great work and the animals look well looked after and much loved. Hearing the stories about how the animals came to the sanctuary was really interesting and the facts shared about each species was very informative. Shaun was wonderful ... really knowledgeable and the right amount of humour. There was a lady as well, apologies I have forgotte her name, she had her leg in a cast, she was great too and her wit, particularly with the pangolin 'princess' was hilarious. Well done both! The afternoon tea was gorgeous and the area we had the food and drink in was truly stunning and we took some fantastic pictures of the surroundings. I highly recommend this place.

Figure how open, I cycled 26 kilometers from Harare and when I arrived they told me today it is closed, they didn't even let me see a giraffe, I had to do another 26 kilometers back for nothing.

Super friendly and knowledgable staff guided our a small group (15 pax) for a walking tour to see a small select group of animals (lions, cheetahs, baby and adult elephants, baby and adult girrafes, wildebeests, geese, impala, dikdik, kudus) and one small and adorable dog that inpatient with kids, which was my son's favorite. But with a chance to see some rare animals like the elusive and over hunted pangolin which might have been our only chance to see one close up in real life, made all the trip worthwhile. A light pastry selection is provided with coffee and tea.

Great place to spend half a day. We've always done the 330pm tour....the beginning snacks and drinks are good....the animal tours are pretty cool, especially the feeding the giraffes, great op for cool selfies...the lion feeding and learning about why they're at the park is cool.....same thing when it comes to the hyenas.....the story of the elephants is informative.....the sundowner and bites are very fulfilling.....definitely a great way to spend sometime inside the city

It's an expensive experience for sure, if going as a family. 95USD per adult and 50USD for children below 12yrs. However, when you visit, you understand why: being that there are workers to pay, expensive formula for the baby elephants, meat for the carnivores etc... All these have to be funded but the park is not like a zoo with huge number of guests visiting per day. W.I.L takes a limited number of groups in the morning and evening for a private tour and education, plus light refreshments included. Hence the necessity of booking your tour well in advance, as the spots fill up quickly. For bookings, they are very responsive. The staff a friendly and they strive to make the experience a memorable one. In general, we consider it to be a one time experience.

My friend and I went to inquire about making a reservation for a tour. The receptionist was fairly hospitable and gave us the information we required in a polite but arms length manner, which is alright not everyone is bubbly right. There was a private function so she kindly asked us to leave which we understood and did. At the car park one of the admin ladies stopped her car in the drive way as we were walking to our car with a stern and serious face. She asked if she could help us, I responded we had been assisted as we just wanted to know general details. She told me how there was a private function and I quote"you are welcome to leave now", rolled her eyes and drove off. We were at the parking lot few steps from our car, my friend was attempting to take a pic of himself as we walked, there was no one except the polite grounds workers.... I've never felt so belittled ever...., to be treated like trash.... Wow... I tried to reason maybe we walked to slow, or maybe it's cause they want to make sure their function goes smoothly, at the back of my mind, I thought maybe it's cause of our skin color, we were there only blacks besides the workers. Or maybe she was just an ill mannered girl who has no business talking to visitors... My worst experience ever, especially in my own country... Sad day for domestic tourism... To be fair, the place looks beautiful and well maintained. If you don't mind rude service Def should try...

You can really tell how much the team at Wild Is Life care for the animals there. I'm always so cautious about going to animal sanctuaries because of the bad apples out there. But this place is genuine with their love for the animals and their rehabilitation goals to release some of them back into the wild. The hosts are so kind and the property is beautiful. I really couldn't think of anything bad to say about this place, even if I tried! If you had to choose one place to go in Harare, it should be here. PS. You even get to meet an adorable pangolin!

My family had the time of our lives. We also learnt that our visiting the Sanctuary directly contributed to the upkeep of the animals. This made us happier.
