I have been at this place a lot of times. When i used to work in Msasa, I would often visit Cresta Lodge for a breakfast, a cup of cappuccino and some snacks. The place is beautiful and they're standards are excellent. It's a calm and a welcoming environment to hang around!

Warm African hospitality. Set in tranquil surroundings on the outskirts of the country's dynamic capital is the beautiful Cresta Lodge - Harare. The hotel recently underwent extensive refurbishment, taking into account the latest trends in business travel and modern styling. With so much to offer, it is no wonder that Cresta Lodge - Harare is an environment where business and pleasure mix in perfect harmony.

The place is nice but didn't enjoy the staff or whoever is responsible for the customer care service. We arrived and just because we are teenagers were denied access. They judged us by what we were wearing and said you only want to take pictures this that and all we wanted was a nice meal. I would never go back to this place.

A large hotel with nice grounds. Seemed busy with business travelers and was a bit loud with the crowds and construction ongoing. The staff were friendly, the conceirge was excellent and helpful, but the desk staff couldn’t tell us how to use the phones in the rooms even after consulting their colleagues. Room was booked for 2 but only came with towels for 1. Other room we booked was the same way. Beds were comfortable and nice. The restaurant had no prices on the menu and the waiter didn’t even know them, so I guess we just had to guess blindly? We asked several times. Morning breakfast was great and well worth it compared to any other options nearby. Pool area was nice and comfortable and the property will probably improve once they finish their construction.

So disappointed with this hotel Receptionist is very rude, hotel door won’t shut close or open so we had to bang it everytime, reported the issue and nothing was done, same with balcony door it wouldn’t lock again nothing was done again One morning struggling to close the door I finally pulled it shut and banged and then I had one of the receptionists walk by and give me a dirty looking then proceeded to ask me why am I throwing a tantrum and banging the door ? I was beyond shocked as I am a grown woman with grown children and explained to her that the door is broken and I have reported it and maintenance has not sorted it out and she just rolled her eyes and walked off ! Awful experience here

Perfect place for a business layover. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet dinners are very tasty and a good spread. I highly recommend Cresta Lodge.

Theres massive room for improvement. Not sure why theres so much pressure from check in to check out.. Everything is in a rush. Maybe with the new changes they are making it may be better.

It's not really located close to the cbd so transport needs to be arranged if you want to do alot of things around... Public transport takes some getting used to but the hotel itself is pretty good.. has a very African rustic vibe to it. And less congested.. it's slightly premium priced but yeah it's clean...

Clean room, service generally good. Noisy A/C and complained to maintenance but they did not do anything about it. I am reluctant to recommend the hotel. The hotel has not yet refunded my balance though I have written multiple times to the reservation desk. They overcharged me at time of check in. Then they said they can use it as credit for extra charges during stay, e.g. food and drinks, and then refund any remaining amount at check out. At check out it changed to say that I have to write to reservation desk to get my refund, which in itself is shocking as hotel settle all bills at check out. I have written to reservation desk since check out on 07 October and no response. Wrote back a reminder and no response. Called them on multiple phone numbers and no response.

Loved being at the hotel and am looking forward to the renovations I saw in progress. The pillows in the rooms are my personal favourite

We went there for a family lunch of 3. Everything was ok up until they started setting up for an event whilst we were having lunch. They did not inform us the garden area had an event booked, the event lady brought her bags of accessories next to our table. We had to make sense and move out of the way for them. This was not professional at all. Thumps up to the waiter Kudakwashe who served us, at least he made our day special.

Went in a bit late , they are very friendly and reception is quite welcoming . The corridors are carpeted thruout giving a great touch . The rooms are great...lots of space quite comfortable...though there is room to make them much better. Coffee soaps etc kettle and bar fridge all available. Bed was very comfortable. There is access to gym bar kitchen pool etc . Surrounding are beautiful gardens very green and well kept . Security is good and always alert. I recommend this hotel in harare.

Great place, there is a new menu and what seems to be a new chef as the food has taken a huge upgrade. There was Samuel serving us at the bar, his cocktails were really good and we were pleasantly surprised that they now stock the popular beers, they will still need to broaden the variety and add more variety on ciders too. Always a pleasure being at Cresta

Stayed for one night to overdue our flight back, they are giving the hotel a new look atm, rooms are but outdated but nice to stay. Staff is friendly, food (breakfast/dinner buffet) is good! Really friendly guys over there. Thanks!

The Lodge has very good ambience and the services are quite good. The food has variety but they have a specific time for accessing the main restaurant. There is however a restaurant for sandwiches and snacks, which is open most of the time. The rooms are very clean and well-kept with air conditioner and a veranda. However, their wardrobes are quite small and they have a small alcove for making teas or coffee. The rooms also have a fridge so you can keep your drinks cold when you are there. However, the place is a bit far from town and other services so you may need a taxi which is a bit expensive if provided by the hotel. Conference facilities are excellent with good sound and projection equipment . All in all, it’s a good place to stay while in Harare.

Attended a conference and every facility was fresh and vibrant. Staff were attentive and on point. A very good experience. Only issue was a case of food poisoning on one of the nights. Not sure what caused it from the buffet.

Something isnt right in the rooms you end up feeling sick after a couple of days there..... whether it's the aircon or the pillows I don't know

It was my first visit to Harare. Not very exciting but the food was my best I'll use my usual 5⭐rating for each area Check in & lobby - 3⭐ underwhelming lobby but swift check in. Rooms - 3⭐ - Small and cosy. Clean white sheets. Bathroom average with dirty shower cabin my safe never worked even after reporting the matter. Aircon sufficient. F & B 4 ⭐- I really enjoyed the breakfast. Great omelettes🍳. Alacart menu adequate. Beware that bar closes early by 10pm WIFI - 1⭐ - very slow and erratic Pool 🏊🏾‍♀️- 1⭐- very cold and not well maintained Gym 🏋‍♀- 1⭐- tiny and not equipped Location - 5⭐ close to CBD and airport Price-5⭐-Good value for money

Good Day Cresta Lodge & Hotel Harare. I would Like to say thank you for a wonderful stay at your Harare Branch this past weekend. Special Thanks to Rutendo and her team for taking care of my entire family during the trip. Lovely food, great area, and the group discount for the rooms added that extra touch. Now I know where to stay when I go to Harare. See you guys soon! PS. You're breakfast staff and the food itself is exquisite. Keep up the hard work!

The lodge appears to be popular and is the only 'cool' place in the southern surbubs of Harare where you can get a coffee, at hotel prices, of course. But as with other places in Harare, the lighting in the restaurants and corridors is poor. It feels like stepping back into the 90's. They win, however, on their professional staff, well kept gardens, and the coffee shop. I have not stayed here, and therefore will not review the hotel lodging aspect of their business.

I was there for 9 days. I didn't like that I had to reset my key card for the first few days every time I arrived from work. However the rooms are always clean and the food is great. A great fire place to sit and relax in a cold weather.

One of the go-to hotels in Harare that’s if you are still still doing hotels in the bn’b era. It’s also great to host events (i.e weddings). It’s actually really nice in my opinion. The service there is great and you feel welcomed. I can’t speak much to the quality of the rooms because I haven’t slept there. However it’s generally an all round good experience.

Great location and open space brings a refreshing feel. Cafe by the gazebbo has limited food and alcohol options, and the restaurant buffett is satisfactory for a busy day. Recommend for business trips and events.

Cresta lodge was amazing the food was 1st class and the cleanliness was excellent. The staff were very freindly. However the room where the function was being held was a bit stuffy and warm.

The game needs to be up'd a bit. We seem to be still doing the same thing that we were doing 3years ago. The conference facilities are still the same with projectors that need fixing. These are now the key indicatiors in modern day. We are all digital.

Fantastic hotel - if staying on business I would highly recommend this hotel rather than more traditional high rise, city centre places. The hotel and grounds are a small oasis with a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The bar and restaurant are brilliant with a good selection of food and drink. The staff are the star of the show. From check in to, dinner and the bar the team are great and really made me feel at home. Big shout out to Tawanda in the restaurant who gave a great recommendation and impeccable service. Give it a go.

On arriving we waited 20 minutes to be checked in. The shower head was clogged, the basin in the bathroom drainage was very slow. Other than that service was great and we enjoyed our stay. The gentleman in the coffee shop - excellent service Pride(waiter) from Chatters - great service

Rooms were relatively well kept. But dirty and uncared for in some areas. Reception staff didn't really know what they were doing, everything always seemed to be someone else's fault. Got charged 72 dollars for 4 shots of whisky
