Understated luxury. Detail down to the napkins at breakfast. Lovely gardens. Good food. Great bathrooms πŸ‘Œ great location. No longer as "private" since the extensions (additional rooms) but still very exclusive. Definitely pricey. Great for a business trip with lots of meetings on or off site (it's very close to Sam Levis Village) and equally good for a relaxing weekend in the city. I wonder if anyone ever uses the little pool right in front of the dining area.

It's become popular as a boutique hotel. It's private , clean and secluded from the hectic CBD. It's good for business travellers as well as prominent people in all sector. I would call it high end.

A unique and nice lodge nestled in the leafy Borrowdale suburb. The place is neat and well kept. Highlands House offers a private experience for the discreet client. Parking is spacious and super secure. The rooms sport modern furniture and are kept in an elegent and clean state. The service is superb with employees paying attention to detail and even more attention to the needs of guests. It is a definite must try if one is in need of high class accommodation in Harare but without wanting to stay in the generic hotels.

Beautiful boutique hotel which really stands apart a regular hotel. Each room has its own decor and charm. Common areas are also really beautiful and calm. Only negative is that there is just basic lunch and you have to make sure to order dinner ahead of time, so if you arrive in the evening this might be something you would want to contact the hotel ahead of time about. Very friendly staff and yummy breakfast as well!

The good: Very lovely grounds and beautifully decorated rooms. Its really nice that its so close to 'the Fridge' restaurant, which has tasty food and good coffee. Housekeeping and wait staff were lovely. Finally, it is very easy to get to and the security staff were attentive and helpful. The not so good: There was a mix up with my bill and the front desk person confronted me during breakfast, rather than calling my room and speaking to me in private. While the bill mix up was resolved, I think the overall front desk customer service can be improved.

This is the best place I've found to stay in if you're in Harare on business. It's in a good location, the staff are outstanding, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and elegant. They have good wi-fi, and a generator for back up if the power supply fails. I love the fact it is small, but it does mean you need to plan ahead and book in good time.

Good locationπŸ‘ attended a business cocktail event in the garden area, it was top notch πŸ‘Œ loved the set up and attention to detail. The open bar had a variety of mocktails and cocktails, my main highlight were the snacks πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ I couldn't get enough of the bun which had grilled pork fillet and mixed vegetables filling, it was mouthwatering.

I love Highlands House. It's my favorite Zim destination with the cosy suites. Suite 16 is my official favorite 😍 Previously it was suite 8. Love the homey cosy friendly environment.

😠 The lodge is situated in a good location with Highlands park within walking distance and Chisipite shopping centre 5 min away by car. The lodge it's self is not what you see in the photos . It's dirty and dated the rooms are tacky and no attention to detail. The bath was stained, toilet seat broken,...
