The ambiance is good and there is safe and secure parking. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, QUANTITY and price of the food here. Really really large portions so, don't make a mistake like I did on ordering too many items. IF YOU ORDER 2 OR MORE DISHES for yourself, make sure you have a blue whale size of tummy to finish it all. There is no way you can finish a single plate. You’ll have to carry some home. 😋😅 One plate is enough to serve two adults. They offer value for money meals in large potions 👍🏾served with passion and dedicated staffers.

An good place for intimate dinner or lunch.They have rooms which you can book in advance so that you may have some privacy as a family ,group or friends. As with most Chinese places they have squatting toilets which am not a fan of.Their food is good and good service from their waitress.As a photographer, I have also loved taking pictures at this place.

Ordered Sweet and Sour Fish, Sizzling Oxtail and Cashew Chicken with 2 portions of rice with veggies. Main issues were that the kitchen substituted the cashews with peanuts without notifying us, the dish was DEFINITELY not the same. The fish could have been seasoned better and we could have done without the baby roach and worm in the one portion of rice. All in all it was OK. Heard alot about this place hope to try something better next time.

The food Well prepared, and met my expectations. The portions are really big. A dish meant for one, can probably feed two. So if you're dining with company, consider picking menu items for the table. Doing a great job. Had a graduation party for 150 people. We wanted to host it at Milton Park but because of our number, they had to transfer us to one of their biggest and upmarket venue in Belvedere. That was so dope. The ambience was intriguing. They gave us a PA System with 2 wireless mics. The venue was free. All we had to pay for was the food and corkage for our wines and whisky. It was reasonable since the venue allowed us to open up the bar for our cocktails. We had a blast of a night. Thought had to share the experience.

China Garden is a Chinese owned restaurant conveniently located in Milton Park. It is easily accessible and close to Harare CBD. Their food is superb with various tantalising Chinese cuisine dishes. Their complimentary green tea has a soothing effect that prepares one for the oriental feast to come. The place is generally clean though. The private room are also cozzy and classy. However some furniture, especially chairs and tables with cracks are now in serious need of replacement. The bathrooms are also in need of refurbishment. There is need for the waiters to be trained in customer care as they generally have a lackadaisical approach to their work. The dalays in processing and bringing orders was frustrating with another dish coming after we were halfway through the meal whilst drinks came after we were through with our meal and we had to remind the waiter about our drinks order.There is spacious parking space which is manned by guards so vehicles are generally safe. It is a place I do recommend but improvements definitely need to be done.

The decor & cleanliness in the private room that we dined in left a lot to be desired. We ordered the following meat dishes- sizzling beef , oxtail & chilli chicken - the quality and taste of the meats was unpleasant -literally the lowest grade.

Customer service is a bit poor. Waiters take their time to attend to you. Indeed there is no hurry in Africa and they mastered that with passion. Food was not really nice.

Foods are good with plenty of choice. Some of the dishes come in very big portion. A good choice besides fast food stores that you can found everywhere in Harare.

China Garden is a great Chinese experience. The private rooms make for a lovely intimate experience, which is great for gatherings with family or friends. The menu boasts good variety. Attended a wedding at their latest venue in Avondale. Loved the concept and the organized flow of the wedding. Later discovered that we only paid for the food. What a wedding gift! In all of my years of travelling and being a Chinese food diner, i had not come across a cozy restaurant with such exceptional service and authentic sichuan noodles. I enjoyed my experience. I booked on facebook and was directed to the warm welcome of Mr Robson. The night was fantastic for the 10 of us. Great portions. I loved the sichuan Chef`s special combination of dishes. Never been disappointed with their service. They seem to provide more for a table of 10 guests. I hosted my hubby`s birthday in a private room with a big table and we joined their Sichuan Table Buffet special. It was plenty and exquisite.

I love this place. Firstly they offer private rooms (though make sure to book in advance) which are great for meetings or dates. Secondly the food is good and well priced; the portion sizes are generous. I usually have to end up getting a takeaway. Lastly the service is great; food arrives in a surprisingly short time. The waiters are friendly and even remember you when you've been a few times. I highly recommend if you are into Chinese food.

Not happy with the services I got on the 23rd of December...I dont advice anyone to go there...first of all there was a waitress who gave us attitude then they served me goat meat instead of pork ribs...only to discover that when l got home..guys please be serious...customer care is everything...not happy

Very disappointed. Definitely highly overrated. I phoned and asked if their facilities were heated as it was a very cold evening and was informed that they had aircon. Got there just to find that there's only one heated room and it was occupied. Anyway went on to order that's where the nightmare began. Food was brought in and literally dropped down on the table causing splatter. Had to ask someone to come clean it up. They came with something that looked like a floor rag. We hardly enjoyed the Food. Poorly seasoned and presented. It certainly seemed like the Food served to the Chinese people present was better prepared. Never going back there again
