It was quite a good experience. The food is very delicious. However the Union branch is too small for dining in. The table I used barely fit all my food. I strongly recommend the food though

Worst service ever Just ordering one juice but then i waited for 51min until i left as i was running put of time without having the drink💔 If i had ordered food the better it was just Drink and water i had to wait to nothing. The service is sooooo poor it was the second time

Exceptional service with smartly dressed staff who are very friendly and helpful. accessible located on the 1st floor of Joina city. Can be accessed via working lifts and escalators. For the handicapped in case of emergency can be accessed via the Julius Nyerere foot bridge. Meals are served hot while you wait. The flame grilled chicken has a unique taste and it's extremely good. When there are specials watch out for them as they are a good bargain.

Very beautiful place but I ordered chicken and chips and got bloody chicken.

Quiet and secluded place in the heart of the CBD. I really enjoyed my time there with my girlfriend. They have good customer service, keep up the good work team and mantain the standards high. Cheers 🍻

Foof came late I had to wait 30mins for a chicken and chips to come in; i don't know what's special about this dish... But truly speaking the menu and staff and food was 100% perfect.. loved it

The chicken is nice. Has a bit of that Portuguese flare. Its a good restaurant when you on a tight budget. Meals range from US$4 - $15. Nice dining area with that old aesthetic feel

Don’t be surprised to find hair in your food. I found one mine. Their hygiene and safety protocols for handling food is terrible. I’m never trying their food lest I fall I’ll of swallowing and chewing up on hair.

The place is ok, somewhere you can relax with your friends and family. I am giving it a 3 star because they let vendors in, which becomes a problem when the vendors starts bugging the customers insisting they should buy their items. It really ruined my experience, I hope they'll hire security or something.

The place use to be one of my go to restaurants however, after my experience I have grown to dislike it with a passion the food was horrible cold and blunt when l asked to see the manager l was told he had gone out already at 2 pm 😒 will never eat there again

Quite a neat food outlet. Waitin times are fast. I particularly love the handsome portions of isitshwala for the Super Bafana Meal. I liked the meal although my chicken flavor was wrong. The space is small, great for groups though but not the large ones. Located next to a filling station, can get a little busy at times.

Have always loved their chicken but was so disappointed with your rice and chicken stir fry 🤦 .

The place is quiet and beautiful. Has an upstairs seating area, good arrangement. Upstairs is the Barcelos story inscribed into the walls. It's a fascinating read. To those who use iPhones, I know your battery dies fast, Barcelos has USB wall sockets for your convenience. This makes the your time here relaxing and no need to rush. the customer care is excellent, and their menu cuts across breakfast, brunch and beyond.

The team wasnt exactly looking motivated

So ..I've always been a huge barcelos fan...despite their relatively higher priced items on their menu compared to other fast food service providers ... So anyway because of covid restrictions there hasn't been any sit ins and today I decided to treat my son to some traditional barcelos chicken and chips.. To my surprise after I requested for vinegar and their legendary sauces, but to my astonishment I was handed a bottle of Tyler's vinegar and was told they had no sauces in stock completely... My question is can barcelos as an establishment not afford vinegar satchets to give to customers?
