This place is great for shopping if you are a fruit and veg addict like myself. You can get a variety of fruits such as green and golden apples, bananas, strawberry, pears, oranges, watermelon, seedless grapes, blueberries, peaches and popp. Vegetables like baby carrots, red and green cabbage, lettuce, butternut, red and white onions, green peas, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and green beans. They also have lots of meat that include sausages, chicken, beef, pork and ribs. They also sell pastries that include muffins, baguettes, pies, cookies, sourdough bread, cinnamon bread, croissants, buns, sausage rolls and milk tarts. If you want to buy your groceries this is also a place to go, even though they sell a lot of fruits and vegetables they also have some basic groceries such as toiletries, snacks, spices, sauces, cleaning products and pet food. At Food Lovers Sam Levy, they also have a beautiful sitting area or cafe where you can dine in and have a proper meal. The main reason why I go to Food Lovers and even bring my friends and family there is for their smoothies. You may be thinking why go there? Its because you can pick any fruits you want and they are able to not add any dairy products to the smoothie if you don’t like. When you finally taste it its amazing at the first sip. So the next time when you need fruits and vegetables in Borrowdale you know where to go.

Best place to get your fresh fruit and veg

The restaurant. Not bad, I liked it a lot a few years ago and went back today out of curiosity. In the photos we have a half lemon and herb chicken as well as a Terminator Burger (double beef burger). Ndakadya nemaziso and couldn’t finish my burger. It was good but I wish it had a softer bun. Chicken was great, it was juicy the breast was as well, not even dry at all. Also, LOOK AT THE FRIES PORTION. We enjoyed ourselves, it’s nice and quiet in this cafe. Service was a bit slow considering the cafe was not busy today but the staff were really sweet and food was good:)

Definitely has the best fruit and veggies in town!! Their Cafe has decent meals and is ideal for breakfast Smoothies, lunch on the go or brunch. Had delicious lunch there.

They sell very fresh food and they have a very unique store layout which is different to the conventional store layout which is quite interesting and different. The guys in there helped me look for what I was looking for even thought they didn't have it.

Hiding the dates on this meet isn’t fair, and when I asked the workers they told me that the price has changed but that does not mean that the date has changed too, so that we believe that is cheeper. It’s unfortunate what you have to go through guys, but if I go to food lovers I pay almost double for the quality not to check the expiring dates or the quality of the products.

Visited Food Lovers Market and was absolutely impressed! 🍏🍇 Freshest fruits and top-notch healthy food options, hands down the best in town. The staff was super helpful too. Highly recommended!

I’ll talk about the market cafe to be specific. They serve a really nice and affordable breakfast. Good thing is it goes all the way up till noon. There’s a lot of seating inside and outside. It’s hardly ever crowded too. You can go and even setup your laptop and get to work there. I give it a strong recommendation. The coffee is great too

Met a friend here, first time at the restaurant but definitely not the last. Seems like a cool brunch place.

A good selection of fruit and vegetables. It does seem to have less stock than recent years but you can get most of the essentials that you need. There is a cafe for breakfasts and lunches as well as a home cooked meal section. The one area that is brilliant is the bakery! Excellent prices and very fresh!

The best breakfast deal in town! A full English breakfast (including coffee) for $4! And it was a good one - eggs cooked perfectly, excellent coffee.......great service..

Great shopping environment, but my highlight in this shop is that All/Most of the serving points will have tellers through out the day. So queues move fast.

It was an alright experience all though they didn’t have what we were looking for we knew exactly where to go given we going to find them this is because the shop layout is pretty much the same through out and you’ll be in and out! It also ferry’s away from other supermarket orientations giving a fresh feel of your visit there!

The place is clean and an upmarket for all food lovers

A fairly spacious foodie supermarket which has a pretty good selection of fresh fruit and veg. They also sell a selection of various meats - beef chicken lamb and pork. A limited selection of fresh water and sea fish. There is also a smaĺ selection of beer and wine plus emergency tinned and deli products. There's a cold meat and cheese/deli area next to the bakery section. On top of that there's a small cafe/restaurant where you can get coffee or a bite to eat ranging from breakfast lunch or pastries.

Great shopping experience for all your fresh fruit and produce well worth the visit. With the news layoutof the fruit and vegetables, has made the shop easier for access and alot brighter.

One of the most organized grocery stores I have ever seen. It is honestly big on fresh produce with a wide range of vegetables, Fruits,herbs ....Fresh... Fresh than any similar stores in East Africa. Harare is much more than we read in the news.. I will visit again

A nice set up with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price.they also have a bakery that sells the cheapest, albeit tasty banana loaf in town in addition to various other sweet treats. The store is air conditioned to keep the produce fresher for longer while on the shelf. I must confess, during the hot October months, I walk into this store to buy fruits I don't even need just to get temporary refuge from the hot sun😎

I'm in love with the smoothies and freshly baked goods, I have never been disappointed. The restaurant is true value for money, their menu offers the best prices compared to other restaurants in the same location. I wouldn't recommend for regular grocery shopping as prices are comparatively more expensive versus supermarkets, but great for fresh fruit and vegetables.

I went to the restaurant section the food was great and affordable i was surprised the service i was given was satisfying, I'm going there again definitely. I can't comment much on the shop side but i like that its spacious and though i felt it was unnecessarily expensive compared to all the other supermarket in the area

Discriminatory service at the CAFE SIDE they attempted to refuse for me to order the same meal that a former politician's son had just ordered before me. Thank god for that one lady that stood up for me. Otherwise never returning disgusting service .

Clean and huge setup. Ample parking. Refill water service is available at very affordable price. Bring your container and refill filter water.

My 👀 nearly bugged out of my head the portions are huge, great value for money 💰 The meals have a lot of Flavor & presentation is simple but functional. The server's are so friendly & accommodating. Beautiful shopping experience always, the fruits and veges are always fresh and well selected, so is the confectionery- it's always fresh too and soft. It's unfortunate that they didn't have my favourite barbecue corn snacks on this particular experience, but well, I had to substitute with the spicy tomato ones, they weren't bad, I could have them a second time.

I have been away for the last 5 years, and when I came back it was great coming somewhere familiar. Food was just as good as I remember, and so was the varied selection.. I won't lie, it was a shock paying $6 for 2 ltrs of milk, but I guess that's zim now..

The area is located in the Borrowdale surbub which is approximately 8km away from Harare Central Business District. The shop has a lot of organic foods. It is the best shop around the area for green products such as fruits and vegetables. The store is located in a spacious and secure business environment. Fruits are packed I recyclable packaging

When I was at the lowest point of my life, the boss was very nasty to me. Racism still exists in Zimbabwe, and some people think it is still Rhodesia.

Kinda disappointed that I didn’t get to order breakfast but it clearly stated they stop serving breakfast after 12pm and I honestly came way before that,and apparently there were no eggs available and a lot of clients were disappointed for something that could be easily sourced.Anyways, decided to get the lunch though it took another hour but the food overall is actually good and its a nice place to to relax and recollect on a sunday with your family or lover. p.s If you want the breakfast there you got to get there by 5 am

I love this store it's filled to the brim with a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and veggies, a cooks delight. Parking around this shop is safe and adequate wheelchair access is guaranteed. A great variety of groceries are available as well it's a great one-stop food shopping experience.
