What a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy a weekend. The staff are kind and extremely helpful. There is wonderful giraffe named Jasmine who follows as you embark on horse ride throughout the lodge.

For a truly authentic safari experience this is a definite must visit. The food is also very nice especially given that it's inclusive. You only have to pay for the bar. The views are breathe taking as well. The stuff is polite and well presented.

Exceptional and magnificent safari lodge just 80km from Harare. Superb view from the balcon overlooking a river. The room layout and furnishings great for those who love wild fun. Frequent sightings of animals while outside. We got to feed the Giraffe up close, saw lions, Elephants, Eland and many different animals. The restaurant has a selection of standard and game meals. Great place.

l have been trying to book a half day trip, as l have come with my Family from USA. I called 4 times and they got my email and said they were going to send me a email for confirmation. l tried to call them again, when l didn't receive a email they were cutting my phone call. l have been trying to book for 2 days now. Management is very poor. l would not recommend them.

Zambezi Cruise and Safaris is a deal breaker🤑. My trip to Pamuzinda and Chengeta gave me an insight in the life of a safari destination. Their food was 👌, hospitality 🥰, accessibility and ambiance 🤗😁. Great value for money💰

Great atmosphere. Friendly and polite staff. Food was out of this world and activities were worth every cent, quite calming not rushed. Only cons was the very poor road signage which made it a bit hard to get there and sometimes there weren't any locals to ask for directions. Definitely think signage should start from the roundabout off the highway.

Good for a day trip, a bit tricky for a night's stay. I had issues with the communication, or rather lack thereof, with their reception/sales agents. There is no wifi in the rooms and only 250mgb can be loaded at a time - so not ideal if you intend to do some work while there. If you do stay over, you will need to book your meals in advance as they will not cater to you otherwise, no exceptions. I wasn't made aware of this at the time of booking, I assumed booking a lunch/dinner with your stay was just part of a package, not that the lodge would have absolutely no food for you to even purchase. If you are trying to get through to them best to call off their main Zambezi Cruise number as the direct reception rarely answers the phone. You are not assisted with your bags due to covid protocol, despite having the host take us through to our rooms and handle the doors and keys and forms and speak to us with a mask off - I just found this odd having come from another safari, which offered excellent hospitality. Pamuzinda is rated 4*, so expected a little more than what was received, at least from a staff and reception process. The surroundings are beautiful though and most of the staff are nice enough, maybe just need a bit of training! Thanks

Pamuzinda Safari is a beautiful gem in Selous Zimbabwe located in very serene surroundings and ideal for those looking for peace and tranquility. The staff are lovely and helpful and Canaan the safari guide is very knowledgeable. There are plenty of animals to see on the game drive and activities. We stayed in the Royal Lodge and had our own private pool and enclosed garden. We will definitely visit again as we enjoyed it very much.

We were at Pamuzinda for 24 hours and it was amazing! Firstly the cost of a full board package is very reasonable compared to other places. Loved the service given. Everyone so helpful. We loved our private garden, day bed and shower. Such a touch! We arrived to a braai, got to know the resident "Pumba" and got accustomed to the place. After lunch, did a canoe ride. By far the best activity to do! Please make sure you book for this when you go. The river goes on and on, winding through ravine like Bush. Game drive was a little disappointing because we didn't see the lions and animals were there but maybe because I'm Zimbabwean seeing impala and baboons was not that exciting. Of note were Zebra and wildebeest. It was fun because of the camaraderie of the participants on the truck. So make sure you do the game drive with your friends. The spinach in the supper was amazing. It got cold pretty quick so take warm clothes even if it's summer. The breakfast in the morning was for KINGS. Overlooking river with birds serenading you.. Really big and really good. We went for a swim in the morning so it was filling after a good work out. We checked out quite happy. We had a flat tyre and workshop staff assisted us in no time and we were on our way. Go with your partner. For a short stay. After that I'm not sure what else there is to do. Day trips don't do it justice because the rooms are a good experience. And there's the small issue of that wonderful breakfast.

Great getaway safari lodge close to Harare. Very beautiful rooms, large game park and lots of activities like horse riding, canooing, etc. Ideal for day trips, team building and groups. Would have given 5* but their staff are not friendly and the food is bad 😏. What a shame!

The whole Pamuzinda experience ain't bad, but it seems their services are going down. The lunch buffet had only beef, rice, salads, squash. Game drive was cool, although the driver forgets we wanna see more animals than listening to them talk. Their communication system is a mess. took me 4 days to figure out my payment and reservation for 4 people. They do have a WhatsApp system, they respond but very slow 🦥.
