This is a small preserve with just a few elephants and rhinos. However most are rescued from other parks and are partly tame. Visitors can see them in a much more intimate setting than in larger parks and even interact with some animals. The daily fee includes a nice room + bathroom, 3 meals, and guided tours. The meals are excellent, and the decor is wonderful. The only thing I don’t understand (this is in many Zimbabwe accommodations of all sorts) is why don’t people sharing a room get a discount?

You must must must do this experience! Absolutely incredible! Sooo good! Get to interact with the elephants which is the most incredible experience. Get to see wild animals in their natural habitats. Amazing experience and would definitely do it again. The staff are wonderful too and very friendly!

We had a wonderful stay at the imire game parc, we saw many animals so close, the guide was very well informed and kind. The lunch was fantastic. And the parc seems to put the well-being of the animals over the profit and takes very good care. Thank you so much for the perfect last day in Zimbabwe.

Booked a day game drive. Saw everything we wanted to. Rangers feed the animals close to the safari truck. Giraffe, Rhino, Elephant and Zebra up close and personal. Exceptional staff. Had a fight with a cheeky monkey during afternoon tea. Lunch by the dam. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff, amazing meals, game drive is wonderful. Absolutely worth it. There are five bungalows, with full bathrooms. Pool, playground, meals. Game drives consist of driving around finding animals: cheetahs, rhino's, elephants, giraffes, and many more. Lunch by the lake was exquisite.

We had an excellent time on the safari drive and saw lots of animals up close including rhinos, giraffe, lion, cheetahs, zebras and elephants. The drive was expertly led by Edmore who kept us entertained with his good sense of humour. The lunch was tasty with big portions that also catered to dietary requirements and the refreshments before and after the drive were also nice. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend. We are also very grateful to Edmore and his team who went out of their way to help us with our car troubles - their service was above and beyond what was required so thank you.

I loved Imire Lodge so much. I spent two nights there and had two interactive evening experiences as well as a wonderful game drive and five delicious meals. I can't say enough good things about this place after spending a week in Harare for business. The people were fantastic! Highly recommend!

More than 4 months of travel through Austral Africa and exploring that park owned and run by a family has left us with an amazing good vibe. Their volunteer programs, the volunteer accommodation in a stunning compound, the noise of the wildlife around us during the night and the knowledge of the 2 guides sharing their love , … everything to the little details show a real passion and dedication. For a day , for a night or for one of their week volunteer program, Imiri worth the stop. We were not planning a stop there with our πŸ›ΊπŸ›Ί and it turned out to be one of the best experience in 4 months.

This is more a wild animal sanctuary than a full game park. This privately owned park sets out to protect animals, mainly from poachers. People that work here are often volunteers who have a big heart for these animals; they spend day and night with them. Truly amazing. Funding comes from us, the tourists. With the guards we were allowed to be close to the animals, fed some elephants, even had a beautiful lunch by the water. A great visit!
