My favourite hiking place! It's definitely a work out but once you make it to the top it makes it all worthwhile. The views are breathtaking, each time I've gone it's been nice and quiet. Great for photos and to watch the sunset, remember to carry lots of fluids though especially during the summer time.

Strenuous walk to the top of Ngomakurira took us 40 minutes to the summit from the bottom. Beautiful scenery.

Beautiful vistas. You can walk or drive up depending which part of the mountain you climb. Lovely forest patches in the canyons and valleys between the granite outcrops.

Absolutely beautiful, and well worth the hike. The views of the surrounding town and farmlands are stunning. The hike to the cave is challenging but worth it. Just a pity about the vandalism in the cave, perhaps due to a lack of maintenance, but all in all, it's a fun hike :)

Wow, what an epic drive up the mountain, good 4 X 4 needed. Cave was amazing, the San art has so much graffiti over it..what a pity

Great hiking trail but the facilities at the monument need to be improved, especially the toilets.

As amateurs the hike up took us just over an hour and a half. This was because we went to the rock art before we went up to the beacon. Please take note, there’s an arrow with a sign that directs you either to the beacon and caves or the rock art. We saw some baboons during our hike!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It's a nice place. They have a small zoo there with lions, ostriches, rabbits, monkeys, different ducks and other amazing animals. There is a restaurant there and many gazebos. You can eat in the restaurant or bring the food with you and have a braai on the river bank. It is possible to go fishing....
