Great service

In town yet out of town. A clean well kept place. The furniture is a bit old but it is looked after beautifully. Thank you for a lovely enjoyable visit. Thank you for leaving us alone but being available when we had questions and requests.

I will not regret spending time and money in this place if you want to offload your whole week's pressure either by yourself or with your loved one this is just the place

The service was quite slow, guessing because we went on a Monday they gave most of their waiters an off. orders for drinks were being delivered one by one. other than that the food was great and the location is good. the lights in the dining atea were not all working hence a little bit dark we requested for candles and they also didn’t have

Place a little run down, could do with some TLC, but staff amazing.

Have been to Samson restaurant on two occasions and experienced there a la carte and Sunday roast. This is a great place with very good food, the Sunday roast is exceptional value. The view is outstanding and the service is great. Have had Ngoni service us on both occasions, and has a great memory and always smiling and efficient well done to all keep it up.

Not so glamorous anymore , went there today planning on having a strategy conference and there mattresses in the conference room

Beautiful scenic spot overlooking the hills of Glen lorne. Love the classic meets modern vibe they're going for. Restaurants is also a hit

Great for throwing surprise 60th Birthday Parties. I heard they're also sorting out the jacuzzi in the Hoopoe room so stay tuned for that review. Two car parks.

This is lovely hotel. It is clean and the premises are beautiful and there is a quaint ambiance in the decor. However this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. My booking was botched even after I had communicated the exact details of my arrival and departure. I stayed there over 2 nights and I was asked twice to settle the entire bill after 9pm on my first night there. I mean, who does that!? The staff had to be reminded to clean my room. The restaurant was not well stocked and what was written on the menu was not what was served. It is a pity to think that such an historic and attractive place could be so badly managed. Imba Matombo has been given a 3 star rating, but this is needs to be reassessed.

Attended a 3 day seminar at Imba Matombo in early December. Service good. Facilities great. Meals and teas were on time and well presented. Overall the staff went out of their was to make the seminar a success.

Used to love love love this place. I just used to love the food but aaah i guess standards have dropped. I was there last night and a lot of things aren’t on the menu anymore. The portions were also small, compared to what we used to get. I was disappointed. I also don’t understand why you nolonger have baby chairs.

Nice place to spend time with family.

Its a wonderful , clean place and quiet lodge. The staff is really friendly and efficient. It's good for family or group getaways, meals and retreats. If I am looking for a serene environment to just getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life, Imba Matombo remains a good option. They could do more on the food selection so as to appeal to a wider and diverse clientele.

Really lovely place for dining and for events . We had our small wedding here and the food was amazing and the stuff is really friendly.

Great service, food was good. Nice quiet atmosphere. NB You have to book before going there.

Tennis court and swimming pool available for guests and those who have come to have meals. Quiet and serene surroundings.

Christmas lunch was very nice we thoroughly enjoyed only service was a bit slow and we didn't get to enjoy our choice of desert as we were told it was finished 😏😏😏

Awesome Boutique Hotel, restaurant serves excellent food, cozy atmosphere...

It is rustic now over neglect but still functional for accommodation and conferences purposes. It is it's placing that is still a pulling factor.

It was splendid, the weather around Glenlorne is so good. There is such a tranquility at the place, you feel private and secure

The location is simply the best! I liked our little corner on the balcony. The view is breathtaking. The portions were very generous and the meal was overall good. Thumbs up team!
