Two weekends ago. I walked into the trauma centre complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. The first night they did allow me to leave and come back for review in the morning. They did every test, x ray, ekg, ecg, ct angiogram, and etc. That evening I became so sick that I had to be admitted the next day. The doctor then told me it was from what I ate that evening and that it was two separate diagnosis from the original. I stayed the night in the hospital. They released me the next morning not 100% but feeling slightly better and a large amount of subscriptions. I then arrived home and was seen by my local family physician. I was then officially diagnosed with pericarditis and costochondritis. I called over the weekend requesting my files be sent to myself and my doctor. No records were ever sent. I followed up today and they said they couldn’t give them to because I had to be physically there, I live 10 hours away. Really disappointed in the borrowdale trauma centre, you left care has declined in the last two years.

The lack of urgency exhibited when we took my dad in who was in incredible pain and showing all the symptoms of a heart attack was shocking. Not only the lack of urgency, but also the lack of care. The physician on call did not show for almost 2 hours before we decided to transfer my dad. This place seems to care more about your money than your health and time

Truly a "trauma" centre, you will be traumatised when you see the bills, they even charge you for the air you breathe. Only go there if you have money to burn.

Trauma Center Borrowdale saves lives!!!! I've no words to describe the service I got. Thank you for saving a precious life today. I got there and I was in tears bacause my nephew with CP was coming in with his parents and was unresponsive. Happyson, by the reception, said to me "it's okay we will take care of him". And take care of him they did. I know it's customary to ask for payment first at most hospitals but Trauma Center did what they had to do first and only when the baby had been stabilized did we start talking money. And even when we were talking to Happyson and Privilege (at the reception) it was with such understanding and compassion which is second to none. Thank you to all amazing staff at Trauma Center, most of whom I don't know by name but your faces are imprinted on my heart. You are all angels from God who are here to selflessly be in the Frontline. A special mention to Doctor Chipo, your professionalism is beyond 'normal' and Doctor Patel (who came within minutes of being called) you are a doctor in your bone marrow. I pray that God blesses you all abundantly and beyond measure. After all is said and done may all your names be forever remembered in Heaven.

If only I could give this guys 0 stars An honest review as a brother to a patient taken to the hospital after being involved in a life threatening accident. No urgency, no skill, they took a patient who they where told was in a critical state onto a wheelchair instead of a stretcher unknowingly of the state of their body weather they had suffered spinal injuries or no. My brother had to wait for them to finish attending non critical patience. Never took vitals of an accident victim. Had to have him moved to baines clinic as they where now threatening to call the police on us as we did not comply which they did call as they asked us to wait patiently for patients with minor illnesses to be treated. After being admitted to baines they identified that that my brother needed immediate surgery after his accident and had also sustained a very bad head injury if we had let the do their job which they where doing badly we would be writing a different story. Bottom line if you have an emergency don’t go there they are just lights and all with no good service maybe they are great for people with running stomachs and flues not trauma as their name suggests. I would not give them a star if I could.

Terrible service delivery if you are waiting for blood results. Doctors will tell you that the results will be sent to you but staff will say you have to physically come get them. The manner in which you operate should not differ depending on who you talk to. Not to mention that there is no communication on whether your tests are ready or not. You have to guess. Very terrible conduct for an emergeny care unit However doctors and nurses were friendly and professional. Facilities are excellent. And care was ok

Great nurses but the service is way too slow. A simple prescription request with barely any customer took over an hr..

Just heard you turned away a critical patient because they did not have a deposit of US$1000. How disgusting, how inhumane, how unethical can you people be! Hopefully it never happens to one of your family members!

No waiting time, the staff had me in and out from stitches in about 30 minutes, they called me every day to check up on how my stitches were healing and had me come in every other day to redress my stitches. I wouldn't have felt so cared for if I was in SA, or anywhere else.

i have had bad experiences when i went with my kids, with a child that has a temp of over 39 degrees you expect them to have a sense of agency but they take their sweet time. the other time time i had to try to walk out with my child after 12 mid night so i could go and find another hospital that would be able to treat my child. My child's temp was 39.8 and rising and they told me they would not treat without the specialist instruction. and i was told this after admission which cost 1k seriously. My experience was bad.

I have in the last two days visited Borrowdale Trauma three times, I will never visit again! The treatment I received was cursory at best verging on being unprofessional and most certainly uncaring. The doctor examined me for a maximum of two minutes and did not seem to care whether I lived or died. One of the nurses failed to give me a hypodermic needle because, and I quote the nurse, « the needle was bluntΒ Β». I simply can’t believe a mΓ©dical center operated this badly in the day and age. I urge everyone to think twice before visiting this place.

They did an okay job. I went there to remove my stitches and I understand that my cut had not healed yet and so to close it back up they put skin glue on the parts of which the stitches were taken out from but during the process, it squirted all over my arm and now I’m stuck trying to remove it. I asked the nurse if the glue would stick everywhere he said no however that is not the case. On top of that, while dressing it up the nurse was about to put gauze that were soaked in betadine solution without anything else and people that have been dressed with that know that once the gauze dry up, it sticks to your wound so I had to advise the nurse to use paraffin gauze. I know these guys can do better and to be quite honest I am disappointed with the service I received today.

I had my last physio session at the Trauma Centre today & I feel compelled to write a review. This department and all the physiotherapists who work there are so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Special mention must be made of John who makes you feel that you’re not just a patient.. but a person that he is determined to help.

Radiology, pharmacy, maternity, audiology, physio etc.. everything medical on-site. I didn't need to book, I walked in and immediately got attention. Special mention to Dr Mudzingwa, you are a blessing. Do to everyone what you did for me and my family, I'm proud that Zimbabwe has such a facility. Thank you Trauma.

🫀 The OPD department is very chaotic in the morning. There is need for order and some screening to be done to patients whenever one walks in or comes at the hospital. A person should be placed at the entrance to do the screening and direct patients / people so that they join the right queue.

😐 So I work here man.. I love my work place... It so cheap... MRI scan costs RTGS$300... As of September 2019, that's US$25 (I kid you not).. so people complain about having to wait long periods before being attended to... And it's True... The hospital is grossing understaffed... One doctor sees admit...

😠 Very bad service. Our nephew was misdiagnosed, performed surgery to only to note its something else and they continue asking for payments to run more tests. This is NOT A PRIVATE clinic. It seems they run out of painkillers for patients?! How does that even happen?! We had to move my nephew to anoth...
