A really good place for a quick afternoon get away. Strangely, you are not allowed to take photos in certain areas ( which often are the most scenic) - a rule that needs some serious reconsideration to help bring more attention to this National Parks run location. A big thumbs up as a must visit location. A big thumbs down to national parks for a very silly no photography rule- it's 2018 people.

This place is full of potential but it's not being well run by the National Parks guys. They need to liven this place a bit by adding more activities. Another area of concern are the Toilets which they never check. You might as well bring your own mobile Toilet as the ones are so filthy and not usable. The lake itself is Ok and is a must see. I will give it a good star rating if they improve the areas that I have highlighted.

Sad story of a dying lake. Wish something can be done about the weeds invading the lake and suffocating all aquatic life.
