Spur sam levy is the perfect place to treat yourself to some yummy breakfast. Not to mention the eggs were prepared to my own preference. I started my day with this amazingly delicious and beautifully presented breakfast Yummy and affordable breakfast. Hands down they have the best Customer Service team!!! 10/10

Someone of the best take out food you will eat this side of the equator. I really enjoyed it. Their breakfast ends at 11am but it is well worth it. Most value for money breakfast at the village now that Haefelis is gone. The waiters appear zonal and want you to sit in their zone. I don't! I really really love Spurs onion rings. They are to die for. The rest of the menu is flawless.... for normal mainstream people. Not up to Soaring Eagle in RSA but as good as it gets. If you go there you will find me I will go there always! Well done Spur.

The food was amazing however you aren’t allowed to make reservations which is quite annoying given how busy the place can get however the steaks and the drinks and the all round experience was amazing!

I went to the Spur in Highland Park. It is really pretty, the views from upstairs overlooking the neighborhood are beautiful as well. Such a serene and relaxing environment. However, the service itself was very slow, the restaurant was not full at all - this was a Monday afternoon. But my orders took forever to come. My waitress as well wasn't checking on me or giving me updates. I had to look for her to ask about my orders as well as to get the bill. This really took away from my experience. Another complaint is that the toilets have one stall each. This results in unnecessary queueing but then again, I don't see how this can be fixed - maybe something to keep in mind when opening another branch.

Spur is probably one of the restaurants that makes you forget about your wories with the cozy environment for both Kids with the junglegim area and Adult. Expect to have excellent service from all the helping and freindly staff which makes it more enjoyable! The food on the other hand, is absolutely scrumptious making yoi want more and even making you lick your plate clean with there amazing sauce selection for your meal of choice. Tables and sesting are always sanitized and cleaned before and after a new customer comes in. Overall Spur is an amazing restaurant to go to for either lunch or Dinner and even Breakfast! For both Adults and Children.

The food was amazing. Service is sometimes slow,sometimes fast ,I guess it depends on the day. If you don’t like crowds,for breakfast go around 9am to 10am. They have an indoor playground if you have kids it will be a great place to go!!!

The service was slow, it took a super long time for the food to be served after we ordered and whats with first sitting somewhere else before getting a table. Besides that really loved the Warrior Combo and Bar1 Shake all recommended to me by the waiter Shaun, who also did a splendid job of singing me happy birthday !

The place provides a perfect place for self spoiling, with neatly presented, well cooked meals and effusive staff. We had a beautiful lunch.

Would have been a 5 but the consistent absence of the cheesecake is a problem, remove it from the menu then if it's not going to be available at lunchtime. Friendly staff and the food is great. Portions are dope except for the quarter chicken, hameno zviri kuitika ipapo. The chicken, avo and bacon salad is a BANGER.

Great atmosphere, they open till late. They are truly the masters of the grill because their meat never disappoints be it chicken, ribs, lamb or pork. Their meat combos are to die for. I'd recommend it any day, Although they didn't give me my birthday dessert 😂

The set up is beautiful! The food was not that great - our fries were raw - BUT the wait staff were quite friendly.

I was greeted right at the door with eager smiles. They were also patient enough as I went through the menu, questioning certain choices. Food service took a bit long, considering it's just an English breakfast but the wait was WORTH IT in the end. Certainly coming back for lunch 😉😉

The burgers were so overcooked. Bun was stale. Salad came after we had finished. Service was slow and laboured. I won't be coming back. The only positive was the milkshake. Eeesh not a good experience

Great family place, they got a playground / play area for the kids to go wild and play. Food was well priced for what you were ordering and came out pretty fast, whilst visiting I had the what you could say is the entry breakfast level breakfast "2 Fried eggs, 2 rashers of grilled bacon and fried tomato. Served with chips and 2 slices of toast." It was not bad at all and very well priced, all in all it was really good.

I don’t know what to say,at first we got there and we were just looked at by the waiters but when this man finally came to give us a table,HE DISAPPEARED!A kind lady had to give us a table but she brought me the wrong order.The rest of my family enjoyed their food but I just couldn’t help thinking of how much money I spent to buy the food and the fuel i spent to drive there,the prices are also too expensive.I expected better service but I don’t know if going there was a value of my money

Service was very slow. We didn’t have that much time and were sure to ask for quick meal options - we got 3 burgers and ordered kiddies meals to go - just hrilled 1/4 chicken, fish fingers and fries. Ended up having everything to go because we ran out of time - order took over 40mins to prepare. Grateful for the play area though otherwise my son would have been bouncing off the tables with frustration.

3rd and last time I had been to Spur, we waited 3 hours for our lunch. And the waiter left us waiting for 20+ minutes before asking for our drinks order after seeing us to our table. After our meal, I went and informed the manager of the poor service and general awful experience we had, we were told "how unfortunate" and left at that! So I unfortunately I won't be recommending Spur as an enjoyable dining experience.

Great place to go out and eat they have good prices plus great atomsphere

The food is very delicious. My favourite was the bar one milkshake. But one thing they should start is bookings.

I had the most amazing experience, not my first time at spur but this time was different because of our waiter Naison. Young energetic guy who just made the experience different. Loves and likes to Naison

Our waiter was a bit overwhelmed on New Years Eve, so I guess the service may be better at quieter times.

If you are looking for a typical Spur experience you won't be disappointed. Suitable for parents with kids as it has an indoor supervised play area.

Food came after an hour but was hot. Ribs were dry as well as the chicken. This is something that needs improvement.

Good place to chill or grab a coffee and brekkie on the go. The staff is very polite and helpful. Lynette and Kudzai are both very helpful and friendly. I would gladly recommend anyone to visit, especially the elderly and disabled people. The place offers reasonable accommodation.

The food is amazing although the service is not quite up to standard and could use some improvements especially during peak hours.

The waiter’s prioritize white people first. We get to the restaurant and they do not serve us on time we have to go and find the waiter to be assisted.

What pulls me here is the great deal on the 4buck breakfast, it's great for when iv missed breakfast at home in a rush to get to work. With that said iv had a few of the staff recognize me , some of them are really on the ball yet some still miss a few essential items like the butter knife or just bring butter and no jam or place the oval plate long ways instead of side ways .

After having requested service from a specific waiter because of their excellent service. A conflict came out because another waiter felt as though he stole customers from her. Firstly it is greatly unprofessional to give a customer attitude because I requested a specific waiter who gave great service. Her attitude is truly appalling and had I got her name I would have reported her. After experiencing great service from the gentleman, she has stained the whole experience of going to the restaurant. And all because she is unprofessional to a customer preference.

Food was packaged well. No sauces or salt offered in takeway box. Appreciated the fresh ingredients but nothing wow about the food. Absolutely nothing.

The four times I have ordered take away there my steak had burnt sauce and varied greatly in size. The chicken has alway been good. The chips have also changed significantly, in the wrong direction. I am hoping that they will not become like all new eating outlets that start great and after a few weeks are not worth their salt.

Terrible customer service!! Went there intending to have breakfast, the food came after an hour and a half it ended up being lunch. I complained, the reason given was we are 'overwhelmed'....smh Surely you must have a strategy for handling that? Also there seems to be preferential treatment of some sort, 2 groups of white people came after us but they got served first even though they had heavier orders than ours, I told Pride (the alleged manager), he said he was going to investigate, he never came back. I still tipped Darlington regardless because I was raised well but on another day I'd of caused a scene.

Great meal, ordered the spur burger and pork ribs. Served in the prescribed time and they are allowing car sit ins for orders during the lockdown.

It's been 3 hours and we are still here. The service is unbelievably slow. Firstly, because of Covid-19 pandemic, the restaurant is operating at 50% the speed seems to be at 50% too. Even with a booking, you can expect to wait about 20 minutes before you get seating. After we placed our order, it took 25 minutes to get drinks. And just under an hour for the meal. The food is VERY VERY GOOD. It's the spur standard we expect. However, the salad dressing on the table was expired. The plain buffalo wings were literally biltong, don't bother trying them. The waiter was either exhausted or simply forgetful. She messed up our order and our starters (nachos and wings) only came after we had finished the mains. We are currently waiting for waffles, and it's been 40 minutes. The service is just so slow and terrible, it has overshadowed everything else which is otherwise good about the restaurant. I recommend trying it when you are in no particular rush. Will visit again soon to see if service has improved. 3 stars instead of 5 because the service was bad.

Amazing service. The food is nice

Loved it. Christmas ambience and outlook needed to be done better with more Christmas lighting and design. Father Christmas was present though. Wheel chair friendliness needs improvement at the entrance and exit door. Service is very good though with very friendly waiters and waitresses. Well ventilated. Senior citizens respected by management and staff. Very clean toilets. I still highly recommend this restaurant.

I love love spur, service was amazing 👏. I can not even start on the food big thanks to Washington, Pride, George and Fadzi the trainee. Am definitely making a reservation for my sons birthday 🎂. Thanks so much am happy 😊

Enjoyed the chicken thighs more than the ribs. The cappuccino tasted great. Generally the food was GREAT.

I had the prawn and chicken schnitzel ( probably the wrong name, lol), The nachos and I tasted some of the steak and ribs. We also had a bottle of JC Le Roux. The Guacamole needed a little more lime, to me it just tasted like smashed avos. You need that extra zing for some great Guac. Food was delicious and well cooked. Really large portions, I actually couldn't get desert after eating. I really enjoyed the meal, it's only four stars because it wasnt anything supper amazing. But pretty good 😁

I heard about the Unreal Breakfast and for sure the price and what you get is unreal! Please make your way there one of these mornings and enjoy the most cost effective breakfast of your life!

The place was packed and had to nudge a random waiter for a menu and to get service after waiting for a long time. After that though, everything else went well and he came to check in twice on us. The food was okay and enjoyable though not as great as I expected. It's good if you have a mini party I think but not ideal for a small group of 2 or 3.

Its usually packed and service at times can be a bit slow but really enjoyed their meals. There is loads of parking space. Enjoyed their breakfast and its really affordable. Really keen to try their lunch specials.

The waffle and ice cream is a must! So good and fluffy. The chips are a great deal as well three people can share the large easily, and it’s only $4

The breakfast took forever to come. We went through at least 3 cups of cuppucinos before we eventually got our food. The food is good though

Delicious promotional breakfast @4 with eggs bacon chips, capuccino & toast. Two fillings of capuccino should you wish to have more. Cappucinno steaming hot. Toast hot with butter and apricot jam. Serene & clean surroundings. Attentive and welcoming waiters. @Tanaka served us with a warm smile. Great experience. Highly recommended. Also has a childrens play area.
