Over the past year, I've visited Imire five times. It is an impeccable conservation with beautiful accommodations, for anyone planning on an overnight stay. The food is sumptuous and the staff are beyond helpful. Located about 80 minutes outside Harare, the road is tarmac, with the exception of a 34 kilometer stretch that is still accessible year round (you don't need a 4x4, though having one is definitely more comfortable).

its a great place.... the wildlife, the food, the accomodation, the staff. all of it just great. Except for the road getting there if you have a small car. otherwise an overall fantastic holiday experience

This is more an animal sanctuary than a park. The aim of the people who own and run this park is to protect animals from poachers. We saw a lot of love and respect for these animals. They money they need to do this, comes from us, the tourists. An awesome place to visit and, with help from the carers, interact with the carers.

Very informative and professional. The beasts of the field are very much used to people and have thousands of acres of land to roam. The cottages looked very nice, the grounds were well kept and although the monkeys may be a nuisance to the locals, there, to a visit that doesn't get to see them, they are a treat. If you have a spare rosemary biscuit, the monkeys will come near, cautiously, and take the biscuit from you while showing intense expressions in their little faces. So much enjoyment at Imire, I'd love to visit again. How often can even local people get to see white rhinos mating?

Very beautiful place😃😃😃 we enjoyed our time here, the staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were so beautiful abd clean, great water supply and serene environment 😃😃 Trees all over wirh birds chirping away. Monkey sightings all over. . This place is a pleasant dream and i cant wait to visit again. We totally loved it.

Very nice place!!! worth all the money! Is only 65 USD but you get there at 9 in the morning, have a coffee/tea, and then you jump into a truck and go around! You will travel from 9:30 to 13:00 around and you will see many animals like lion, zebras, elephants, buffoons, crocodile, gazelle, rhinoceros, giraffe any many more which you will see in my pictures! A must visit place if you come to Zimbabwe!!! At 13:00 you go to have a very delicious buffet with local food and some of the greatest salads with a splendours view over a lake. The host is incredible hospitable I must say!!!! After lunch you will see some more animals and then you go for a coffee and for getting ready to finish the day. I really really wish you will visit this place! Is like a diamond in the mud 😅😅 But yes! If you are new to Zimbabwe contact me and I can recommend a couple of things you including this place obviously 😄 PS: Daca ai nevoie de un ghid si esti din romania sunt aici sa te ajut, ca alb șansele sa fii păcălit sunt foarte mari! T was our first time seeing rhino and the tour guide was well knowledgeable. Cooling in the pool after the drive put icing on the cake.

Wonderful lodge and game reserve run by the Travers family only 2 hrs drive from Harare. Easily the best food we ate anywhere in Zimbabwe and by far the warmest hospitality.

If you're looking for a fabulous wildlife-safari experience, a day out as a family or a place to take overseas relatives to see some of Zimbabwe's amazing wildlife (including rhino, elephant, lion, giraffe, buffalo, numerous species of antelope and birds) then Imire is the place to go. Imire provides a rare, once-in-a-lifetime experience to see these animals up close. You not only come to appreciate the knowledge the tour guides have, (and thus learn a lot about the wildlife in the process), but also their wit and humour. They are true professionals delivering excellent customer service. It is essential you book before you go. There are various options from staying a night or more, or just booking a day trip. Food is excellent. If you have children under 3, the trip out in the park during the morning before lunch may be too long for them, especially if they are used to a nap before or over lunch. If you have young children it may be worth finding out exact times of safari trips out in the park, time of meals etc. especially if your baby or toddler sticks to a strict nap and meal schedule.

Amazing experience! All the family enjoyed the game drive. The delicious buffet lunch out in the game park amongst elephants was just perfect. And the team so welcoming! Looking forward to coming for the overnight stay
