This is a well advanced General hospital which has recently turned into a Central Hospital and is also a referral centre for District clinics like Unit L clinic, Makoni Clinic, Dema Clinic and Marondera Clinics. Strategically on the centre of Chitungwiza and Seke District with a superb Road network. Transport to Parirenyatwa and Harare hospitals for referrals is easily accessible since the hospital has a fleet of ambulances, It is a 30minute drive to the capital of Harare . The Hospital is open for 24 every day.

Has great potential and improving after the partial privatisation, but just like all federal hospitals in Zimbabwe it lakes essential drugs hence the inconvenience of being asked to go to the pharmacy which is fully privatised. So when you go for treatment at this institution you should carry with you enough back up cash or card to avoid any inconvenience. Compared to other health care providers this one is better run and managed.There is an element of professionalism here. This institution is ideally located for a central hospital and very accessible from all points.There is an added convenience of commuter omnibus plying all routes which are found just outside the main gate.So if you are stuck you can always hope into a minibus which is super cheap as compared to the conventional taxis.

CGH has a great potential of becaming the best Hospital in Harare. The town has a number of talented people with all the skills expertise needed to build the Hospital. A number of factors has affected it to such an extent that the local people are not affording being treated here. Many people in Chitungwiza do not have medical aid because they can't afford it. It is also difficult for them to purchase for themselves every item needed for their treatment. Sickness is like an accident, it normally comes many peopy unprepared. From survey I have made people are struggling to be treated at this hospital.

It's a public hospital which is affordable for all. It has some maternity, inpatients, outpatients,theatre,dental,eye, paediatric etc. It's not a five star but u get services so required and if not you are automatically referred to bigger hospitals in Harare CBD.

Outside the gate people are being screened for covid, the parking lot needs some attention
