What an incredible place to eat, Maria, our server was amazing!! The food was exceptional and the service was amazing!! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, it can be found here. The pricing was adequate for the quality. If you are looking for a great place to entertain, this is it!!

Bloody Mary was wonderful, but friends had margaritas and said they were too sweet. We all enjoyed our meals. I had chili Verde and found it to be wonderful. Salsa and chips was good. Salsa had good flavor with a moderate amount of heat....not hot.

Excellent décor, the food is amazing and comes to you pretty fast. Very friendly environment, and great service. The prices are very competitive, actually low, with larger than average helping of everything that I have had.

Oh My it’s good! That’s what I said when I had the 1st bite. It’s my 1st time to finish the whole mexican food meal in one sitting. Food is so tasty, big portions and price is right. Just visiting Brookings and glad to find this place, the reviews are true! Pollo el diablo( chicken with mushrooms in a spicy, tangy sweet tomato sauce) is what I got, try it and it won’t disappoint. I tried my husband’s Pollo ala crema and it’s also pretty yummy!!!

The only complaint I have is that the cheese dip seemed akin to that of a cheap movie theater cheese dip. The enchiladas were very tasty though and the guava smoothie I got was fantastic! My lady also really enjoyed her Mexican sunset drink special, and all the wait staff were very polite as well.

I had the steak fajitas, which were excellent! Sizzling hit pan comes with a hot mit, lots of steak pieces and onions and peppers, guacamole, sour cream, beans and rice, 3 tortillas, and some greens and chopped tomatoes. Very flavorful! The service was fast and friendly too.

I didn’t hate the place because the food was really good. But the service was nonexistent! The waitress brought us our food but after that came back once to offer us refills and then never returned even to bring the bill much less the refills! She instead doted on the couple next door. We’re usually big tippers but nil this time! That’s a first for us!

While I think this is the best sit-down Mexican restaurant in brookings for food, the service never impresses. I’ve given it 4 chances now and every time it’s terrible service. We are always ignored for a while before even being greeted, and when our food does come no one ever checks to make sure we’re doing ok. There almost always seem to be some support staff standing off to the side watching us eat while doing nothing, instead of asking if they can get us anything. I feel like I’m being stared at by the employees and can’t eat my dinner in peace, or even get what I need on the table.

This restaurant is a jewel in Brookings, Oregon. My wife and I come here every chance we get when driving to the coast for a get away. The service is very good, their food is delicious (try their fish tacos) 🌮 and they always make an effort to give you an authentic atmosphere. When this review was done it was the weekend before Halloween 🎃 so to see them decorate shows that they care. Enjoy!!!! 😀

The food is just okay. Not anywhere close to authentic Mexican. I got a supposed "customer favorite" Pancho's carne asada. Zero flavor for the meat. No salt and no hint of any type of seasoning. Rice and beans were bland. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that gives you slices of tomato and chunks of raw onion that you have to cut up. Why not just make a Pico de Gallo? My spouse's meal was also lacking flavor - ground beef tacos and cheese enchilada. The only flavorful part was the salsa, which we poured on everything as well as lime. The service was not at all friendly or attentive. The hostess just asked us how many and sat us, dropped off water. Didn't acknowledge our "thank you's" or make any eye contact. It was weird. The waitress came and took our order after a party that got seated after us. They also got served their food way before us. The beer we ordered didn't come out until our dinner was served. No smiles. No chit chat. And, no one came by to fill waters or check on us. I had to get up, interrupt 3 waitresses at the front desk and ask for the check. No "thank you for coming" as we're walking out the door. Plenty of other options in Brookings. Wouldn't patronize again.

The food was ok. Pretty basic Mexican food, nothing fancy that sets it apart. When we walked in we were given the option to sit between the two doors for the kitchen where people were constantly walking in and out or sit by the bathroom, even through the rest of the restaurant was not busy and there were plently open tables which I thought was odd. Since we were sat away from the front, after we got our food we weren't checked on until it was time for our bill. It was ok food, very basic and tasted very prepackaged.

I can’t give it a 5 but wish I could give a 4.75! I may be Irish but I love my Mexican food. It is easy to see why Pancho’s has been named #1 Mexican Restaurant 13 years! Salsa is delicious with just enough heat. Margaritas were really good and great price. My enchiladas were stuffed with shrimp. We will be back!

Pancho's is a fun little place to stop by and eat, but this time our food was not quite right. I had chicken tacos and my sister had chicken enchiladas, the meat in both orders had been boiled beyond any flavor and was really tough to eat, couldn't cut through it. I'm hoping it was just a one time thing, because we like Pancho's!

I have been coming here for 10 years, and always recommend to friends and family but recently the value of had decreased. Small steak portions for the fajitas. I had to order an additional portion and it wasn't priced fairly. The food tasted just as good as before, and the service was good. I am willing to pay for an entree at any cost , but when the portions are slim its kind of a rip off. I own and operated a restaurant in CC, and understand cost and profit margins. Please increase your portions if you are going to raise your prices.

Server was slow. Had to ask for the salsa I ordered. Then only saw her when she delivered food. Ordered a mini fiesta salad. Maybe a teaspoon of beans and meat on it. Only found one tortilla chip on it. Worst salad I've ever had. This salad used it be my go to meal.

This place is amazing. Food is incredible! Highly recommend. Can’t stop coming back because everything is so delicious! They have great vegetarian options too.

The food was okay, but the service was absolutely atrocious. We were seated right away, but then we didn't see a waitress for over twenty minutes when she finally brought out water. We then ordered other drinks and it was another twenty minutes before we got those and got to order food. The waitress took it upon herself to double my order without asking, and also adding it to my bill. Will never eat here again.
