Very nice place, all the staff, manager, owner are very helpful and provides you the best. Food is very testy, enjoyed a lot. Must visit highly recommended.

The best thing about Algari Resort, Perfect location, close to the Safari starting point. is the excellent staff. The staff is very co-operative. Of course the rooms are also good. Food is also very good. The whole resort is surrounded by trees and plants Cool Atmosphere. The food at its restaurant is really amazing with freshly cooked delicious dishes.I have never heard the word "No" in my Two nights stay. I can highly recommend the Resort to all my friends and family

Nice place near Chitrod village, around 7 to 8 km from Sasan Gir. This is a pretty basic resort (don't expect any luxuries) which gives a feel of staying in the wild among nature. Rooms are spacious with attached bath but running hot water is not always available & guests may need to ask for it. Package includes food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) which is freshly cooked and consists of local cuisine. Food is simple but good. Room service is not available. Guests have to go to dining area for food which is not an issue. Speakers with loud music near swimming pool and other common areas are a turn off for nature lovers.

Visited one year ago. Stay was good. Pros: Limited rooms. Large swimming pool Surrounded by nature (appx. 4 km in the jungle) as one can enjoy very serene environment. Food is the most most good thing about the resort. Cons: Rooms are ok ok. Not many activities or games are available for time pass as one can get bored after some time. Sometimes water overflow will get you in trouble.

Regretted going by the Google reviews The resort was a sheer disappointment at all levels - Dirty rooms - even the second room we got shifted after complaining was dirty/ unclean. We were disgusted by things dirty in several places. When requested to clean, we were told what else do you expect in a resort! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and no one came for cleaning even once! Food - mediocre in taste and oily, cold coz this hotel doesn't use chafing dishes. So if you reach 15 minutes later after buffet is laid out, you would have to have cold food unless at your arrival, they've just refilled. Good food reviews were one of the key reasons for us to finalize this hotel. I was really looking forward to lip smacking local kathiyawadi food. Location - terrible and far away from the sanctuary. The pick up to the sanctuary therefore costed is extra plus unnecessary time wasted for the extra commute. There are several properties in less than half the distance. Not at all worth to stay this far and that too at a property like this. At times, even the local drivers didn't know of this place and needed directions No intercoms- this means when your safari driver comes for the pickup, you have to be at hotel's mercy to come to your room to inform, if the hotel boys aren't sleeping or can be spotted. Our day 2 safari was delayed by half an hour because of this No water on day 2 morning and we couldn't inform the staff coz there were no intercoms and we had to climb down 2 floors and hunt for the staff. Check in and security- no check in process or documents asked at the time of checking in. No security guard at the gate. This raised serious reservations in general. I extensively use Google reviews and ratings to make my decisions but this one has terribly gone wrong!
