Let me preface this by saying I used to be the GM of a hotel group in Denver, CO myself. There is no excuse for the way me and my coworkers were treated during our stay. Staff was incredibly mean and dismissive. Only friendly faces were Hector and the cleaning ladies despite that they don’t tidy the rooms at all for entire stays. Dogs barking and shedding everywhere, as well as cigarette smell in the halls. Washers and dryers were never working. The GM is very rude I’m not sure how her staff can put up with her because she inserted herself several times as we were gathered in the common areas. Seems she is always out for smoke breaks. I never felt comfortable in the common areas in the mornings/mid-day when this GM was on shift. The night staff was relatively friendly and accommodating. It seems there is a superiority complex with the head lady and she needs to be checked. I don’t recommend staying here. My room stunk like pipes and sewage for the two weeks we were here as well. We gave this hotel a crazy amount of business, probably the most they’ve had all year yet we’re treated terribly. There was religious racism involved for several coworkers and in 2022 this is unacceptable. The Super 8 would’ve been a much nicer stay!

On behalf of myself and my family we are very disturbed with the experience we had at Best Western in Killeen. I don’t ever take the time to write reviews but this was absolutely intolerable. The people at the front desk told me “you complain too much” when I asked them for a new room key. The reason I needed a new room key was because the first one they gave me randomly stopped working. On top of that, one of the younger hotel workers cat called my wife saying “Which room do you stay in I’ll be over there later”. Unreal. Not my fault for having an absolute dime of a wife who is the loving mother of my kids. Show some respect. Best Western will go out of business by the end of the year at this rate. Never dealing with them or recommending them to anyone ever again. Bye!!!!!

I stayed at this location a few years ago. This is not the same stay as the first. To start, the lobby and the dining room were clean. We didn't go into the pool but lots of adults seem to be enjoying it. The elevators were clean the times we used them. The halls and rooms were the worst. The halls smell like mold. The first room we were assigned to, 317, smelled and the shower was filled with mold! The second room, 202, was filled with mold as well! The carpet was stained! Vent covered in dust! I didn't even use the shower, that's how bad it was. This was only a 2-day trip, thank goodness otherwise, I would have canceled my reservation. The front desk did make up for the inconvenience, and I appreciate that, thank you.

Well I really can't review my stay because literally 10 minutes from pulling in to check into the hotel they called and said they were "over booked" and cancelled my reservation. We had just driven 3 hours to get there and was driving to pull in the hotel when they let me know we had no room. No explanation as to what happened or any prior notification so that I could plan something else for our stay. I have travelled lots of places for many years and NEVER had this happen before. Best Western will never get my business. And bless Courtyard by Marriott for stepping in and taking care of us.

This hotel is a little hard to find if you aren't using Google maps. The room was a very good size, but needs updating. The carpet is old and stained. The caulking around the shower was dirty and had patches of mold. The bed was acceptable in terms of comfort, but the pillows are atrocious. Small and lumpy. Staff was friendly and in general the hotel is quite. The complimentary breakfast was not best. Watered down juice and very limited selection of things to.

At first appearance looks like a decent hotel. Closer look it has alot of wear. Our shower door seemed to not be in top working order. Was very loud, hard to pull felt like it was going to fall off. Like most establishments these days they seem to be short workers as housekeeping was hard to come by. We stayed 5 night, they cleaned our room once. We always had to ask for clean towels. Seems they need to order more because they were always being washed. Or maybe if housekeeping would pick up the dirty towels they could all be washed. I booked this room for 2 reasons. 3 separate beds and a pool. Pool was closed with no mention of it being closed when I booked. When I asked for bedding for the pull out sofa I was given 2 pillows and a blanket. Assuming the sheets were already on the bed I accepted it. When I pulled the bed out later that night to find a bare mattress I was irrated. The hot breakfast was hit or miss, as they seemed to always run out before ending time or we had to ask for essentials. The staff was nice and helpful. I don't understand why we have to constantly ask for things. The outdoor patio area was ok. Grill needs some major TLC

Room was large, location was great, staff was nice. Bathroom had mold and breakfast was terrible. The room was spacious and clean; however, the shower had quite a bit of mold. The breakfast was the typical served in hotels these days, however, it was very bad. The eggs, sausage and waffles all tasted awful. Stick with the instant oatmeal and whole fruit.

The hotel is great. Clean large rooms. 2 queens and pull out sofa bed. We enjoyed the pool as well. The snack selection was nice and the breakfast wasn’t bad either. Nadia who checked us in was amazing!! Very helpful and efficient. We had a wonderful stay. Nice neighborhood and felt safe.

The rooms here are dirty and if it hadn't been so late we would have cancelled our reservations and gone to a different hotel. The first room we were assigned was nasty and smelled atrocious so we went back to the lobby and asked for a different room. The second room was not any better. The third room was dirty also but better than the first two. At least it didn't stink. However, the carpet in the third room was badly worn and, like rooms one and two, had numerous pet stains. This is a pet friendly hotel and the carpets are in dire need of a good cleaning. In addition, the shower door frame was dirty and corroded and apparently the shower floor had not been cleaned. An employee was kind enough to loan us some cleaning supplies in order to make the place acceptably clean. After we cleaned the entire bathroom and the shower floor with bleach they were clean enough to use. The bed linens were clean on both beds. However, the bed frame on one of the beds was broken and in need of repair. When I sat on the side of the bed the mattress tilted significantly which could have resulted in injury. It should be noted that all of the employees were friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan. Also, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the cafeteria. It was efficiently managed by friendly people who made us feel welcomed.

We got double charged and we are not the first that this has happened to. The rooms are disgusting. The carpets is falling apart with stains. The walls have stains. The ac unit had mold in it. They gave us a room that was under maintenance with water all over the floor and seeping in to the carpet. Long story short I highly recommend you avoid this hotel and just stay elsewhere.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Our family stayed here this week for our Family Reunion (Oct 2023) and we were very comfortable. I misplaced my jean jacket and the Staff went above and beyond to assist me in locating it - we never found it; however I was impressed with their efforts (...it was found off-site). Additionally, the Ofc Mgr. is very professional, gracious, and welcoming. If we are ever in the area again (we live out-of-state) we will DEFINITELY be staying here. Also, the location is excellent: easy access to restaurants, the shopping, and freeways).

Those people who are "working" in this hotel are disrespectful and lazy. 6:30 am. Only one person working in the office. My hair dryer in the room was not working. I am wet out of the shower. Call the receptionist. He refused to help, saying that he was by himself. I am running down to reception. Nobody is there! A couple of minutes late, shows up NO HAIR DRYER. The worst experience possible!

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels but this was by far the worst experience and is worth a bad review. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this hotel’s general manager, Vanessa Forbes, is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I’ve ever come across. Stayed here for two weeks and asked multiple times to get my room cleans and new towels, I was told multiple times it would be cleaned “today” and never was. Finally Mrs. Forbes started stuttering on why they haven’t been able to do it and when she had nothing to say she goes, “With covid we actually can’t go into the rooms to clean them.” It’s 2022 and there are cleaners in the two rooms beside mine. She doesn’t like to be wrong and gets heated when trying to have a calm conversation.

I stayed here with my mother for 4 nights; beautiful hotel, clean rooms, and kind staff. The only reason why I am giving this hotel 3 stars instead of 5 is because on my fourth day there, a ROACH crawled on my bed. I was thoroughly shocked being at how nice and how well taken care of the rooms seemed to be. Roaches creep me out, so I definitely won’t be staying here again.

This is my usual stay in Killeen and the one of the main reasons why was because of the fantastic breakfast that used to be served here.... Note I said used to be. I don't know what happened but even through the covid pandemic they served a nice hot breakfast and you would tell the lady what you want she would put it on the plate and hand it to you.... The food then was always great and this time it was just typical Hotel food, with nothing special. Had a nice quiet night for a change here because this hotel sometimes being a military town can be a party place, but that's every military town I've ever stayed in so please remember that. The staff was nice the room was clean the location is perfect and I will continue to stay here but I sure wish they would bring back the old breakfast.

Staff is unwelcoming at the start , there for memorial , with 5 people . I ask for rollaway and they say they don’t have it. They seemed lazy imo. Booked employee rate and they didn’t care to have us prove it. Not when we asked for a new key. The whole 5 night stay they were not welcoming. Breakfast was as expected; not terrible but not good. Place was dirty ! Dirty carpets , dirty pool with tons of crickets and slime and not ever cleaned. Place full of bugs like crickets and COCKROACHES. Staff seen smoking and hanging in lobby and was creepy . Elevator having issues. The housekeepers were nice and that was about it. They advertise “snack boxes “ for room service but when my family called to order they said no. Also the suite we booked looked much better in advertising than what we actually received. There were bad kids running up and down halls screaming late at night too.

This hotel is great. The staff is very welcoming, funny, and kind; especially the manager. They make you feel at home. The rooms are always nice, neat, and clean. I've never had any issues since I've been staying here. The bed is so comfortable, not a backbreaker. I will continue to book at BWP when I travel to Killeen.

Update 4 weeks after hotel commented: Still no refund. The person commenting must have been the same who was going to refund my money when it happened. Booked thru and paid for on HotWire and then Best Western charged us for the room again. When we noticed the double charge and called Best Western, they said they would remove it but of course that never happened.

They decided to put me in a room with the bed against the wall with the workout room so weights were slammed til 11:30. The window was missing the sun blocking shader and the window was next to a street light. Had to put the hotel blanket over the window. And the main door was located next to the public bathroom with the door being shut and slammed all night. Will never use best western again or a very long time. No not at all worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Just needed a place for the night. Guy at the desk was friendly, the room was clean, dark, and quiet, and the breakfast was what I expected. Good stay

I have stayed here more then once in the last 2 years. First the staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough that our pug does zoomies around bed and coffee table. The breakfast is always something different each day not the usual pastries and cereal like at other hotels. We will be back in the near future.

Great location and spacious room. The staff was friendly. While spacious, the room felt old, the carpet was worn and stained, the shower was full of mildew and rust doors. I needed my shower shoes. I was very disappointed to have paid $184 for this. I do not plan to return to this location.

Elevator stalled and started moving with doors open. Black mold in the bathrooms, food all over the wall. Carpets filthy and not vacummed. Did not give rooms promised. Horrible, didnt even stay the night and would not refund money.

This place was amazing! From all staff we encountered to the HOT breakfast in the morning! They had a make your own parfait station which is a first and delicious! There was also an espresso machine available 24/7 in the lobby that was really good too!!! Definitely a must stay and the room was very spacious to fit our family of 5!

The rooms are very clean and the staff is excellent! We stayed October 28, 2022. Jessica that works there was probably the most friendliest, help-full, positive and kind person I’ve met! Of course it wasn’t just jessica that was great all the staff members were! I will stay there every time we come to the area!

LATORIA!!!!!! She was one of the sweetest front desk staff at any hotel or any establishment I've ever come across. Aaron and Chance were a duo that every Hotel needs. It was like a concierge service to a five star hotel in New York City. I will always stay and recommend this hotel to anyone coming this way. Honestly, every staff member I came across greeted me with pleasantries.

I enjoyed my stay 6/10 thru 6/13. They had all I needed and were very helpful and friendly each and everyone I encountered. They also have a shuttle within 5 miles for free. This place is in a decent location and peaceful of course certain things can be better but it was all I asked for.

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained The beds are super comfy. The breakfast bar was outstanding, nice and neat and everything well organized and displayed. The staff was absolutely top notch. One of the best I've encountered in quite some time. LaToria was nothing short of amazing. It was late when I arrived but I couldn't find the hotel. I called for directions and LaToria stayed on the phone with me giving directions until I reached the hotel. I would absolutely and positively recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the spacious room, price and the breakfast. Evening front desk staff was very polite, however the lady working there during the day was very rude and unprofessional. We had initially booked the room for 5 nights and had emails to prove it. This lady was trying to kick us out the second day claiming she never booked us in. Again, we had proof, which she didn’t care to review. I explained that it was another young lady who had booked us in, the rude lady insisted no one else worked there during the day but her, implying we were making up stories. Well I guess train your ghosts to book reservations a little better then smh

Rooms are clean. I stayed for 3 weeks as I’m contracting work in the area. The guest laundry is closed. They accommodated me by allowing me to use their laundry, a little inconvenient based on the timeframes it’s available. They have a store to buy items, you’d better have a credit card to purchase as they don’t take cash, well depending on the night, not sure all employees are on the same page. Even if you stay for 3 weeks they will not service your room, however you can service your own room, however you must go get all items needed at the desk there was no offer to bring them to the room. All in all in this day and age I’m sure it’s worst in other places, just not overly impressed with what hotel accommodations offer these days and this hotel is no exception to that,

I had a king bed with sofa room. I found the room very clean, comfy, spacious. Very reasonable price. The bed itself was very comfortable. Free breakfast.. It was decent, with a good variety. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Checking in and out were a breeze. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!
