House of Rock has become a staple of downtown Corpus Christi culture. It’s kind of dive, but it’s the character of the venue. They have great shows of all genres, it’s a great venue for private events, the staff is always courteous and cool, and their pizza is amazing. Go there for lunch, go there for happy hour, or go for an event or show at night.

Staff was cool and friendly, great service and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was not so good... pizza tasted store bought and cheap, I'm really surprised of all the comments on here about how good the pizza is. None of the food was worth it in my opinion. Bottom line is if your looking for some tasty treats this isn't the place, if your looking to have some drinks and chill with friends with music and snacks, I think you'll be alright.

Great little hole in the wall bar and grill. Lots of cool decorations. I had "the boss" 12" pizza. It was good. Lots of different choices for kids and adults. Soups and salads were good as well. Small but cozy really close to the artsy part of downtown corpus.

I loved it went for my 35th Birthday just to hang out. Ordered Pizza and wings it was amazing. The Staff was Nice and they had a live Band playing. They were really Good The singer/Guitar Player gave me a shout out for my birthday it was awesome. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Corpus.

Honestly the best chill place to dine and hang with friends over beer and pizza. Everyone is so nice, the service is fast, and the kitchen is incredible. Absolutely worth stopping by!

I came here for the open mic on Tuesdays. Food and drinks were alright. But the show itself is the selling point. We had a lot of fun watching different acts from people all over.

It was a cool place to grab a bite and a beer. The prices were good. My issues were that my salad was warm, and the chicken was not freshly made that day.

Pizza and wings were good. The wings have amazing flavor. They just needed a little more time to crisp. We went to Disney DJ night and had a blast. They definitely need more bar staff for events. But overall was a great experience

This place used to be incredible but new management has ruined it for good. Also, the sound guy is an uneducated joke. Have fun listening to drum solos for every band you watch there.

Went there for lunch/dinner. The Boss calzone was great as was the apple pie calzone. A little smaller and less "pro" than I was expecting after being told about it by Corpus Christi Visitor Center staff. However, seems like a very chill/relaxed place to eat and hangout perhaps for a younger than myself crowd. Service and food was great. Seemed like they actually cared that we were visiting/eating at their establishment

Food was great! Quality stuff, will totally revisit. Staff and owners were super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant looks like a cool hangout spot. 10/10

Food was good, just not the best. I had pizza, which was alright. The wings were good, and I had their meatballs. they were just ok. But if you're into live rock music then hey this is your place!

They have some of the best lunch in town, ESPECIALLY their pizza. It's full of fresh flavors and unlike anything else around. You can taste the difference in their crust, their cheese, sauce and all the other ingredients. Their earth day pizza is one of my favorites in addition to their classic pepperoni.

Music was great and the bar staff were friendly but the pizza was terrible. The crust was chewy and tasted like a frozen pizza. And it's also apparent that they just start off with a plain cheese pizza and when you order any type of toppings, they just added on top and heat it up so all your toppings will fall off in your lap since they aren't cooked with the cheese at all. We didn't get a chance to try anything else since it's not clear online that you cant order anything else besides pizza after a certain time. Corpus Christi has a lot of potential for improvement but it seems like they do just enough to get by and don't expect to have returned customers since it's a tourist town

Love this place, great live music weekly with a variety and some bigger name modern groups of different styles of music. Wednesdays are my favorite, Damon Scott acoustic show is awesome, he is definitely very talented with vocals and guitar and covers a wide variety but is amazing at Grunge/Alternative from the 90's/2000 era. Also on Wednesdays is local tap beers and 2 for 1 pizza slices that are huge. Definitely worth the time to check it out especially when they have live shows

The waitstaff was lovely and the food was especially the dessert was really good. The music is always fun and lively
