Great park with lots of shade and two different kids area to play .. Feeding the ducks is one of my childs favorite!! The baby area by the middle school has no light at night and restrooms have been dirty lately 😞 no hand soap...Restrooms better today but still no light at baby's area...

Wonderful park especially. At Christmas time as they have little houses beautifully decorated. Best to see at night.

Well, I came to the Holiday Village, you know the same every yr. You all must evolve. Make more of a layout you have so much land that you can put them in a different way direction. Idk think of something. I see a bit more vendors they too need more space and light. Well, here it goes some pics of the village mini houses. You can compare them to the following yrs to come, which won't change. Idk how many I will let me post, but I'll pick it randomly.

Always love coming to see the Christmas Village. Was so excited to see all of the new additions. It has become a Christmas Eve tradition for my little family and it's always a great time. Can't wait for next year!

The park has two playgrounds for the.children. The Christmas.Village is setup already. There are a couple of food trucks in the evenings.

I love this park so much 🫶 it's beautiful, ducks everywhere. Multiple kids playgrounds, benches, pits to bbq. Although I didn't know that only on Fridays and Saturdays they close at 11. My bf and I got threatened to get the cops called on us by a security in a car yesterday for throwing a bbq. We asked if we could have a few minutes to finish cooking the meet but he was rude and told us leave now unless we wanted the cops called on us.

Definitely one of the largest parks that I know of in Brownsville. Has plenty to do, and a great place to bring your family. They have plenty of canopies and tables/benches to sit at. A decent sized water playground (with water misters and sprayers) for small children to play, and cool off. Also has a public swimming pool during the warmer parts of the year. Plenty a space for jogging, barbecuing (multiple bbq pits throughout the park for public use). Also there are several public restrooms throughout the park in case Nature Calls, and even holds special events occasionally throughout the year such as "The Christmas Village" that are fun for the whole family. If you love outdoors, and enjoy outside leisurely activities, then you should definitely visit this park sometime.

Very well maintained. Even mid day summer it was very pleasant. Plenty of shade. Well maintained equipment. Easy to find parking. Lots of fun 🤩 .

Lots of space to have a family field day, and plenty of canopies for a BBQ at the park, we like coming here after taking our kid to the children's museum. They have a kids playground and it's surrounded by water so it's perfect for duck feeding (make sure you use seeds) the Zoo is right across the park so it's perfect for a Zoo, park and museum day with kids.
