Boga Lake is the wonder of Bandarban district. I love this place. It is so beautiful place! I went there in 2016 but its memory still in my mind!
Boga Lake is a stunning destination where you can see fish swimming clearly in the water. If you step into the lake, the fish will gather around, expecting food—sometimes even giving you a little bite! Behind the lake, there's a road leading to Marma Para, where the locals are incredibly welcoming and kind. Their hospitality makes the visit even more special, and you can hear fascinating stories about the lake's history and legends. Previously, the journey to the lake was more thrilling, but after the construction of the road, some of that adventure has faded. However, it's still an amazing place to visit. Highly recommended for everyone!

Legends mention that there the particular area was the resident of the gods and goddesses of the aboriginal people. But a sudden disaster of a deity who killed (actually ate) the inhabitants of the local Khumi tribal village people. The story did not end there. The deity reappeared in the form of a dreadful dragon and was responsible for the instant earthquake which resulted in the craving of the hillside, disappearing of that village and the formation of the legendary deep Boga Lake. This place highly valued by the community for its water based recreational activities, amenity and cultural heritage while also fulfilling its role as a water supply storage.
