Came here to shoot clays with some friends this past weekend as I have done several times before. A staff member told us we had to leave as soon as we got there because my friend accidently came in the wrong driveway. We all apologized for the mistake, but the staff was very rude to my friend and insisted that we all leave for his mistake. This guy was power tripping and cost the business a good bit of money that day. I will be checking out other ranges in the area.

I was there for the clay shooting course. Well cared for and beautiful course!! If you haven't shot a shotgun before or in a while, have no worries. Drake Landing personnel will give a shotgun tutorial/refresher and safety briefing. 13 shooting stations to go through so I recommend renting the cart. There is shade at each station and a water cooler at one of the shooting stations, but make sure to bring lots of water.

After browsing these reviews it looks like I experienced a very similar experience at Drakes as Will Z. from last year (see below). We had a nice time shooting, attendant Patrick was very nice. As we were leaving I was told by the owner himself that I was “driving too fast” down the dirt road and was not allowed back, very aggressively (entirely false claim). I had my family with me, and had my brothers girlfriend come to pick him up, when she arrived she accidentally went down the wrong road and was told by the owner “she must not be able to read and she needed to leave” Owner approached us and continued to make derogatory comments about us and my brothers girlfriend until we left. I insisted to pay but he refused and told us he would even call the sheriff on us. Fine by me. Will never get my business again.

Place was great 👍 and the employees were nice. It's a little pricey for everything but We had a great time.

I went there today to shoot pistols and had a great time. I saw some bad reviews but they are obviously from people who are unhappy with their lives. I checked in very easily and Butch took me to the pistol pits. After the safety instructions he stood back and let me shoot knowing that I was experienced with guns. We had a good time talking while I shot and he couldn’t have been friendlier. I will definitely be going back

One of the best experiences I have had. Beautiful scenery, fine fellowship, great hosts and challenging stations. I highly recommend Drake Landing.

Beautiful area! My family has been coming here for years, it is and always has been fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff, very reasonable prices, and such a beautiful place to shoot. Strongly recommend doing the full course.

Went here for a clay shoot about a week ago, the course was fun and each station was set up well, with a nice variations of clay flight paths.

Nice spot for clay shooting...the old course was great and kept things interesting by altering the locations of the clay bird flights...would definitely go back

First and foremost… the facilities and outdoor ranges are gorgeous. Love everything about it. I’ve been here several times to do sporting clays as well as the pistol pits and I wish I lived closer or else I would get a membership. My ONLY criticism is the customer service. It’s usually hit or miss. I took my wife here to shoot shotguns yesterday and even she noticed it. Overall the staff and grounds people are very courteous and all the people who go to shoot there are very friendly. Definitely recommend!!

Great variety of shooting stations. On the "new" course for first time. Haven't picked a favorite course yet, both are good. Was raining all day, but with covered carts and most (not all) stations with cover, we finished round without to much complaining about the weather.

Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, easy to understand and transparent pricing. Two separate courses for sporting clays, did the 'new' course, will go back to try the 'old' course.

We recently held a company event at Drake Landing and it was an AMAZING experience. Vic and his team are TOP NOTCH. I highly recommend them. We also had a BBQ that was catered there and lets just say, there were NO LEFTOVERS!!!!!

Went to the range today to fire my new 9mm for the first time. Had a little trouble with my aim. Shane, who was handling the pistol range today, was so amazing! He showed me the right way to hold my gun and gave me tips on firing. Within minutes of following his instructions, I was hitting the target more and missing it much less. We also had some questions regarding hours that I had purchased and Skip was very helpful with answering our questions. Thank you Shane and Skip for a great experience today!

We took our family (6 of us) for a birthday outing and we had a blast. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The stations were clean and well kept and the equipment worked flawlessly. We will definitely return.

If you put golf, bowling, frisbee golf, and sporting clays in a blender and set to puree', you end up with the best bit of fun on the planet! My father lives in Tennessee and he said he would make specific trips to just to go here! Very friendly staff, very clean and the woods provide great shade on hot days. Treat yourself and spend an afternoon here. No need to own a shotgun, they rent them. I cannot stress enough how you need to this at least once!
