Had the 7 course tasting menu.. Was the best restaurant experience ( Food and Service) this foodie had ever had. My wife who's not a foodie and is not an adventurous eater, went out of her comfort zone ( After some convincing/pleading) and joined me for the tasting menu, She also agreed that it was the best and most enjoyable experience she's ever had. As an added bonus, was not overpriced for what we got. Worth the trip, hope to try the 13 course tasting menu next.

I mean the chef is incredible. So accommodating for dietary restrictions and allergies. We got the 7 course tasting menu over 2 hours. And it was beyond delicious flavors perfectly balanced with salt, sweet, spicy, blending raw and cooked slow cooked and fresh and incredibly creative. And impeccable service. (They automatically add 20% and I broke my rule of not tipping more if they add it in and tipped more cause the service is that good.) Highly recommend.

Great food but we were there 1 hr and 30 min before the main came out. It was a dragged out meal that didn’t have to be. One steak came out cold like it came straight from a refrigerator

first of all you need to have a bigger menu. about the food; i ordered something the supposed to had beef cheek, and i got a big plate of potatoes.. it was literally a tiny tiny piece of meat there.. i think that the main have to be meat not potatoes.. however, the main dish was a 12 oz ribeye, and was actually good. not the best, but wasn't bad. the service was great, the place is good, and the vibe is amazing. basically if you need a good calm and relaxing outing, and your not focusing that much on the food, is etc definitely the place to go. good luck!

Overall a brilliant experience for my family. Smiles left and right from the food (I am somewhat picky with where I dine and how my food is made). The seasoning, the texture, amazing flavors, we couldn't stop! I honestly don't know how we made it to dessert. Since moving to jersey 2 years ago, no restaurant impressed me like Etc. Steakhouse, HANDS DOWN. I see us there very often. Gotta try everything!

Extremely tasty food presented elegantly. Service was phenomenal and even though we were the last ones to leave we did not feel like they were pushing us out to close the store. Definitely plan on being back.

Everything was tasty but nothing spectacular. Small portions. BYOB is a plus!

Superb foodie experience. Did a thirteen course menu for a special birthday celebration. Everything was delicious, cooked beautifully, and filling. Chef Seth is a culinary genius. This is a restaurant you don't want to miss.

Had an excellent experience. The appetizer was very good (especially the gnocchi) and the steak was simply PERFECT! I don't remember the last time I had such a perfect steak . Service was fast and very friendly.

Went there for the first time in a while. Food was excellent. Really surprised how good it was and was much better than I ever remember. I did think that prices were too slightly high ($90+ average entree). Overall great experience

Did the 7 course tasting menu for the first time. Food quality was stellar. The service was well above par, the staff were super attentive. Would repeat without hesitation. Great option if you like variety and creativity.

Really slow and bad service. Blue haired server had to be alerted to come by and introduce herself and take our order after a long wait. The steaks were very chewy and hard to cut. We have been dining with ETC for many years, this experience was definitely different from past experiences. Disappointed to say the least.

Currently the only higher end kosher dining option in Teaneck. (I really miss NoBo, which was much better). Appetizers were good. Mains took 1 hour to come out, and only after I asked the manager about it. His "explanation" was that they had a lot of walk ins. Not an excuse. If a kitchen can't handle the number of customers then cut back on how many people you serve. The appetizers (gnocchi and dumplings) were good, but 23 dollars for three dumplings? Not a good value proposition. The mains came luke warm - probably because they were sitting for a while. My hangar steak was unbearably salty. It was cooked ok - we all asked for medium rare and got medium. I tried some of the rib eye which was somewhat dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. The most annoying thing was the included 20% gratuity. Absurd. With the relatively poor service, it wasn't warranted but I didn't want to make a fuss. I won't be going back. At those prices ($110 per person, with no drinks or desert and two appetizers shared for two people) there are much better options. Definitely worth a drive into Manhattan where there are much better kosher high end restaurants. Of course the restaurant was packed and will continue to be packed. The bar for kosher dining isn't set that high and kosher consumers seem to tolerate mediocrity.

Etc has excellent food that creatively diverges from the typical kosher steakhouse fare. The atmosphere is warm with a laid back upscale feel and there's sufficient space for a little privacy. It all makes Etc a great choice for couples night out or a gathering of old friends. Make sure to plan ahead and bring a good bottle of wine. It also helps with the final tab as it isn't cheap. If you forget, Filler-up is around the corner. One caveat: if you equate high prices with large portions, Etc might not be for you. Otherwise, enjoy!

Way beyond what we were expecting. Food was fabulous. Very well training staff all in sinc with each other (rare today). Host could run his own talk show...a very enjoyable one. My friend took me out here and it was better than he planned it to be!

The place was not full of the we came there. It's a BYOB situation (bring your own buzz) although they have wine glass prepared. Tiny portions. The sode cans was cold and i liked the shape of the glasses. About the food... I think they need to go taste how food is being done and presented. The service is amazing and quick. I would consider coming back just for the atmosphere and service...

We were greeted nicely by hostess, place was not crowded, the menu is very minimal, there were specials on offer which the waitress tried to give us info on but the descriptions were so long and tedious we couldn't keep up. (why not have it written down?). I ordered the beef soup and my husband steak on potato and cauliflower. Even before we got our order we were hassled to order our main dish (for after the soup) because the kitchen was closing. We refused to. When the food arrived- the steak was well done (although pretty small) and pretty good. The french fries were not soft enough (they are wedges of potato). The soup was not edible. It was the end of the day and it seemed I got the bottom of the pan. No vegetables in sight, 2 tiny cubes of meat and a mouthful of spices. It was so spicy it was not edible. We are not sensitive to spicy foods, this was just not edible. I asked for more bread to wash it down but it just wasn't bearable. They offered me the menu again but I wasn't in the mood to get anything else after that experience, didn't have the patience to wait for another dish to be made (it takes time) and just wanted to get out of there. They gave us a complimentary dessert which I didn't touch. Another thing which was a bit bothersome was the way waiters kept on interrupting us unnecessarily during the meal. We could hardly get a few sentences in before we had to stop. We were asked about 3 times if we wanted our plates cleared in the space of 5 minutes. I understand people wanted to go home but it was not respectful. We hardly ever go out and unfortunately we had a really bad experience.

Service was exceptional. Appetizers and Sides were amazing. Steak was cooked to correct temp. My only wish is more variety when it comes to the steaks offered.

My wife and I ate there for our anniversary. It was superb -- the food, the ambience and the service. We split the main course special, and they asked if we wanted to have it pre-split, which we did. Excellent. The appetizers and desserts were special too. Get the buffalo cauliflower, it was excellent, and much lighter than it usually is.

Apps great, service amazing, however mains were terrible I sent back 2 main dishes both had no flavor and the 2nd one was completely RAW not rear nor under as they called it, completely RAW.

Excellent, if expensive, kosher steakhouse. I hadn't realized it was kosher when we booked it, but it didn't affect my dining experience at all. Beef bacon, garlic aioli and coconut cream were the only obvious substitutions. BYO kosher wine only. The 32oz ribeye was cooked exactly as we ordered and big enough to share by two (and at $135, was only reasonable divided by two people). The fried buffalo cauliflower app was also delicious. Beef bacon was tasty but i wanted a larger portion, especially given the price. Beer bread was a bit dry as well as the peach dessert. Kind of feels like pastry is not the way to go here Service was knowledgeable and attentive overall. The bill for two people with apps and one shared entree was over $300, not including tip. That struck me as a bit pricy. I'd recommend this restaurant if you want a good steakhouse and don't mind the price, especially if you keep kosher, but also even if you don't. But you have to have the budget to afford it.

Love this place. Finally a high end restaurant that gives you normal sized appetizers (the other high end kosher restaurants should learn how to be fair with their portions). I have only one word. Perfection. Food , service, food, ambience, food, creativity, food, originality, food, food, food. Food. That's only one word!

Really good meal. Really good service. Eclectic menu -- tried some stuff that I haven't had before. Even things that weren't my cup of tea were yummy. Peppercorn filet was hum out loud good. For dessert I recommend the mousse. Chocolate chips on top of the mousse was a nice touch. Appetizer portions were smaller than I expected.
