Currently
the
only
higher
end
kosher
dining
option
in
Teaneck.
(I
really
miss
NoBo,
which
was
much
better).
Appetizers
were
good.
Mains
took
1
hour
to
come
out,
and
only
after
I
asked
the
manager
about
it.
His
"explanation"
was
that
they
had
a
lot
of
walk
ins.
Not
an
excuse.
If
a
kitchen
can't
handle
the
number
of
customers
then
cut
back
on
how
many
people
you
serve.
The
appetizers
(gnocchi
and
dumplings)
were
good,
but
23
dollars
for
three
dumplings?
Not
a
good
value
proposition.
The
mains
came
luke
warm
-
probably
because
they
were
sitting
for
a
while.
My
hangar
steak
was
unbearably
salty.
It
was
cooked
ok
-
we
all
asked
for
medium
rare
and
got
medium.
I
tried
some
of
the
rib
eye
which
was
somewhat
dry
and
didn't
have
a
lot
of
flavor.
The
most
annoying
thing
was
the
included
20%
gratuity.
Absurd.
With
the
relatively
poor
service,
it
wasn't
warranted
but
I
didn't
want
to
make
a
fuss.
I
won't
be
going
back.
At
those
prices
($110
per
person,
with
no
drinks
or
desert
and
two
appetizers
shared
for
two
people)
there
are
much
better
options.
Definitely
worth
a
drive
into
Manhattan
where
there
are
much
better
kosher
high
end
restaurants.
Of
course
the
restaurant
was
packed
and
will
continue
to
be
packed.
The
bar
for
kosher
dining
isn't
set
that
high
and
kosher
consumers
seem
to
tolerate
mediocrity.
