I’ve been ordering here for half a decade and always loved their food. Price is great. Good food. Recently, about 3 weeks ago, I had my last meal from there. I saw lots of mice at this place. One was under the fridge. One was burrowing into a hole inside one of the sacks of rice or potatoes. And one was by the back wall. I didn’t want to cancel my pick up order when I saw the mice but I won’t be coming back here again until they get a health inspection done or something.

Tonight I ordered my grilled chicken dinner (as always) and it showed up looking raw with raw onions. We tried calling to ask about it but there is absolutely no way to get through. So I get in my car, with raw chicken in hand and drive back the the restaurant. I get to the counter, show them the chicken and, instead of making it right, the "cook" tells me to order it again. They will not replace or even grill my bland raw chicken. They just kept pointing to a sign on the wall saying, "call Eddie.' No thanks. Eddie should call me. Wish I took a picture of it. There was no color or signs of being grilled AT ALL. Shame on Cuban Eddie's and their unskilled "cook". We will not be going back here and neither should you. Cuban Eddie's cares nothing for the community that keeps them in business. Edit - Reply to owner - You are dishonest for saying that they offered me a replacement. And if your crew said that they offered me another grilled chicken, they are dishonest too. I did leave with $12 in my hand and an empty stomach. Perhaps you should spend more time in the restaurant and less time on the keyboard.

I ordered take out for two burritos, one chicken and one steak with two empanadas on the side. The burritos should have been called “Rice burrito topped with rice, rice and more rice.” There was almost no chicken inside the chicken burrito, I could have counted on one hand the number of little diced chicken bits. the steak burrito was SLIGHTLY better but still severely lacking. chipotle would still be a better value for $9 burritos. The empanadas looked promising but tasted like they were fried with oil they use over and over and over again.. (and yes, you can taste a difference when fresh oil is used). Won’t be ordering here again

This is absolutely a dive that knows nothing about Cuban cuisine. It is a shame that they advertise as Cuban cuisine and lie to those that don't know what Cuban food really taste like. For those who want to try good Cuban food, go to Rumba Cubana on Blvd East in Guttenberg. I have not tried the one in Maywood yet.

Got 8 beef empanadas and 2 rice puddings but what sucks is I was driving home from a dr and wanted to call & place order and you cannot speak to a live person, they send you a link to smart phone so I needed to pull over & place order. Basically if calling from a flip phone or landline you cannot place order. I asked about this and was told this was set up from Covid and was not changing. I think this is a foolish thing. Of well not my business.

Ordered pick up through the website. Portions were large and a good value. Empanadas were tasty. Loved the beef burrito. Only 5 dollars! I only could eat half. Enough for two meals. Glad to see a tasty restaurant with very reasonable prices for food still! Will be back for more Piccadillo and empanadas !

I ordered a chicken stew which was supposed to come with rice and beans and they never gave me the rice or beans. I picked up the food so I didn’t notice until I got home. I also wasn’t too fond of the taste. They used the cheapest chicken; drums. I thought the croquetas were good though. I wouldn’t return.

So first time and last time im gonna be ordering from here. I ordered the lunch breaded chicken and was looking forward to eating eat. But when the order got here I ended up with chicken fingers. I didn't order chicken tenders. If you're gonna put BREADED CHICKEN BREAST on the menu you make it not send a customer somethingnelse entirely. If your gonna send out chicken tenders instead of an a tual chicken breast change the menu to tenders. Really not happy as a first time customer. Might want to review the photo and see the difference between the two. Very upset I didn't get what I ordered.

The Cuban Sandwich is really good, I just think it should be bigger and on a softer bread that would make it a bit more authentic. The empanadas are also really good. I had a few other dishes that were just okay. It's kind of a hole in the wall type of place, I recommend to take your food to go. Good service 👍 I would go back, and I'll try some other dishes and let you know. Enjoy 😉

The chicken needs some SEASONING! Felt like they just opened the chicken from the pack and pop it straight to the oven :( Change the door of the business as it looks like I was stepping into a sketchy location and or warehouse... put some life into the restaurant, Cuban culture is beautiful and you do not feel that at all in here at all.

Fantastic, great value / portions and delicious food. I order from here twice a week at least. It's just that good!

I normally get their lunch platters. The roasted chicken is 90% juicy and only a couple of times has it ever been dry. They pack it with rice, beans, and sweet plantains so I can divide it up into two separate meals. The price is also quite reasonable even with the price increase they have.

Easy to place order for pick up. Food was hot and delicious. Wish side of beans was less liquid and more beans but otherwise such a good deal

Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews and get the bbq beef burrito. It’s only 5 bucks and great every time

A Cuban Sandwich is usually my goto at any restaurant when ordering out and have a trip ahead. Visited Cuban Eddie's and ordered a Mario's Way. Which is described to be a "Cuban sandwich with 2 croquettes inside". Sounded great. But it was not. Not because of the croquette but because of the pork used. The pork looked and tasted like inexpensive deli meat. I really was looking forward to having their roasted pork inside of the Cubano. When visiting Cuban Eddie's, don't order the Cuban Sandwiches

Amazing service and fast delivery! Just a little bit too much cheese on the beef and chicken empanadas but besides that it was a great meal with great service; one of my favorite places to order from.

I ordered the chicken stew with potatoes, it literally looked like they boiled the chicken and potato in water and then plated it and added tomato paste on top. There was no seasoning I took about 3 bites. Uber eats issued me a refund.

Reliably great food at the right price. You can't go wrong here, everything we've ordered has been delicious. The food is ready quickly, and the people who work here have always been friendly and helpful!
