My family and I were traveling through South Dakota over the weekend and we ended up randomly stopping here with our kids. The staff (especially the manager or lead young man) were so friendly and accommodating, bringing us extra of everything and even gave our kids free cookie skillets. The food is decent, with kids I don’t expect gourmet. But the customer service we got was excellent. The young man we spoke with was just so kind and generous, we wanted to make sure people knew!

This truly is the best pizza ranch in America. From service, to cleanliness, to food — buffet is always stocked. Out of this world. Thank you! Stop every time we come through. South Dakota. You guys rock!!

i got pizza that had onions and pickles but it tasted like cheese pizza. also had pizza with onions and sausage on it, tasted like cheese pizza. taco pizza? tasted like cheese. pepperoni? tasted like cheese. like i walked into a place devoid of flavor. so i figured id get some chicken, which consequently tasted indeed like chicken.

We had them cater to wild water west for a party. The food was hot, fresh and the service was great. Very highly recommend

Food is decent. My complaint is that multiple times now I'll order extra toppings and they either just don't add extra, or add LESS. my current pizza (all supposed to be extra toppings) has 5 slices of jalapeño. 7 pieces of pineapple. And like 10 little chunks of ham across the whole pizza. At $20 a pizza, that's simply unacceptable. I get it, mostly high schoolers working there. Just pay attention to your online orders yall

Pizza Ranch in Hartford is fantastic! It is so nice to have a good pizza joint in town.. The Dejongs are fantastic people that really care about their customers. Hartford is very lucky to have them!

Went to a new pizza ranch and staff was polite and professional 8/16/23 not the greatest reception at pay counter and food was good but potatoes looked like they were burning to bottom and no one asked how it was

I walked in with my pregnant wife to order a pizza 1 hour before they closed. Open sign was on and about 6 people were working there, mostly in the back near the kitchen. As we walked in, we said we wanted to order a pizza to go and the guy said "you don't want to order a pizza, it will just piss them off in the back and you don't want that". This was a full hour before they closed and I find that absolutely unacceptable. There are not many food options in that area and especially not many that would satisfy the needs of a pregnant woman's appetite.

Getting really sick of Hartford, Sd pizza ranch. Pretty much every order is messed up. This last one we ordered a 2 piece all dark meal and a 2 piece breast meal for carry out. We got 2 all dark meals. They are very slow. It seems to always take double the amount of time they say it will. And when your food is finally ready they won’t just hand it to you, they decide they need to help the 10-20 people that have come in the door since you have been waiting for your order to get done before they will hand it to you. They need to revamp their system or something. Just getting really sick and tired of no quality control and a bunch of employees and managers that don’t seem to care at all.
