    I took my 9 month old Siberian Husky here for her first professional grooming because she was blowing her coat, and we had Cait as our groomer. She was awesome. Super understanding as huskies are nuts when it comes to grooming and cleaned up my pup no problem! Also said my husky did awesome and wasn’t as dramatic as others. 😂 Will come back, put photos of before and after. Whole new dog!

    Schedule grooming service for my dog. My appointment was canceled without my knowledge. I was not offered the option to have a later appointment or to rebook. I am a fordt responder woth very limited time. I had just gotten off a 24hr shift, picked up my dog and rushed to the store only to be told my appointment was canceled prior to my arrival. Needless to say I was and still am livid! Not so much that the appointment was canceled but at the manner which it was done and the poor response from the manager on duty at the time. I have been a customer of petco for years but this will be my last time patronizing this business. The only saving grace for them was when I called to make a complaint, the person on the line provided phenomenal customer service which is the only reason I gave 1 star ( well I guess I could give zero even if I wanted to). I understand that things happen, people get sick schedules get messed up but never you make a customer or patron of your establishment feel insignificant or unwelcome. As sat in my car talking with customer service I saw other dogs being dropped off to be groomed. They went in with their owners and the owners came out without them. Why weren't I given the same oppertunity?

    Great customer service! The store is very clean and easy to find what u are looking for. I gave this place a four star only because the items are overly priced, they do not offer enough discount's.

    Jim was awesome! The manager referred me to him since he was stocking the dog food aisle. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, he answered all of my questions and made a recommendation I was comfortable with for my senior dogs who have digestive issues. Thank you Jim! Much appreciated!

    Great Store, Bad Customers, whoever left those 3 Guinea Pigs By the Dumpster Last Year. Just Know, They Live Better Then You Ever Will Now..... as Far As I Know, Petco was NOT Involved! Spoiled piggies Now ha ha

    Just visited to buy a couple items and watched a groomer yank a dog's face by pulling on his beard to dry him, and held the blower in one spot making the dog uncomfortable (she was probably burning his skin). If she's comfortable yanking a dog around like that in front of customers, what's she doing with them in the back? Yikes. Do better Petco.

    Great selection of cat food. Staff are always friendly and kind. It is very obvious that Management is understaffing them. Every time I go in there are multiple dead fish that are being eaten by other fish in the tanks. There is consistently a long line because I’m pretty sure they only ever have 2 to 3 people working at any given point. I have noticed that the guy from the aquatics area is often ringing people up to help with the line… Instead of taking care of the fish that are dead or sick. I want to reiterate that I do not believe that this is a reflection of the staff themselves, but of the management trying to cut costs and improperly staffing. Never thought I’d go to the Derry St Petsmart to buy my fish and cat food but i just can’t in good conscience buy fish from this location.

    Well we had to wait over 15mins to even get any help by the live fish. Then finally got up to the check out and agreed I'll pay for a bag for my fish I purchased. The cashier didn't take a bag off the bag holder to put the fish in. I looked at her and said I paid for the bag for my purchase.. She said Yeah I charged you for it. And just stood there looking at me. She said you can take one off the bag holder. I said sarcastically... Thanks for letting me do your job that you get paid to do. I had to bag my own fish. Mine as well just have self checker registers for customers because this cashier definitely showed to me she wasn't going to do her job.

    Wonderful experience...I was there to pick out fish for my aquarium... she was very knowledgeable and educated to assist me... I will definitely return for any future needs for my aquarium...

    Not impressed. Went for dog toothpaste and shelves were empty but for the store brand, which does not have a good review. Also, not one person greeted or asked me if they could help me.

    The grooming manager Anthony was cleaning out my dog's ears and I watched him clean out her left ear and she pulled away. I watched him do it again and she pulled away. I watched him do it again and that's when she almost tried to bite him. Then he stops. Then he tries to come out and tell me that she must be sensitive in the left ear but he doesn't know why. Now my dog continues to whine. She won't lay on her left ear. It's sensitive to touch. It's red. She has a vet appointment in the tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. that I have to take her to to see if she has an ear infection and to see if he did any harm by not stopping the first time and stopping. After the third time when I tried to call to complain to the store they wanted to keep transferring me to Anthony instead of taking my complaint so then I had to call corporate.

    Searched online, found the product. Went to order it, but decided to see what was in stock at the first. When I found it it was 50% less on the website. I took it to the register and asked. She said yes it's cheaper online cause they don't pay for us to ring you out. I told her to hold off I would complete the online order. She told me to go ahead and do it then. I ordered it while I stood there. Once it was ordered, I told her the order was in. She told me ok and continued to count out crickets. I said I guess I'll be back. She said ok. I left, returned an hour later and glad I did. Saved so much for the inconvenience.

    I made an appointment to have my dogs groomed at this store. The group requested that I fill out a pre-check form which was completed during the time of setting up the appointment. That took place during November 19th, 4 hours prior to my scheduled service on Dec 30th they contacted me stating that they can’t see my dog without vet clearance. They had weeks to review my pets profile to ask for all pertinent information but Instead opted to pull this stunt hours before his appointment. Very unprofessional and not worth the hassle or cost. GO ELSEWHERE…

    I was looking for a clearance section and could not find one. I found crates of food, but some were on sale, and others were not. It was confusing for both me and the staff at the register. The last time I was there, I was looking for a dog crate, and they did not have the top of the size I needed, only the bottom.. The store just always seems a little disorganized.

    This is my go to store for pet needs. Don't waste your time with the High Point Blvd store. Even though that store is 5 minutes from my house, I travel the extra distance to Jonestown rd. The staff member in aquatics was a huge help. She was very polite and professional and cared about her work. Can't say the same about the HPB store.

    Petco groomers did a great job of caring for and grooming my 2 senior golden retrievers. One has bad inflammation and arthritis in her back legs. They offered me a solution to make sure she didn't have to be there for more than 2 hours. I am very happy with the care, compassion & professionalism both the groomers had for my dogs. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The services were more expensive than I've paid to other local groomers but the care and treatment were 1000 times better than what they've experienced with other groomers too.

    It's a pretty standard petco. In the past I have taken trainings for two of my dogs. There is a different trainer since then whom I have not worked with but they seem nice from what I have seen in the store.

    Great local place for me, definitely a great place for me to come get quick supplies for my aquarium (and sometimes extra fish!). Got my new golden dojo loaches there and they're gorgeous and happy little guys.

    I needed a specific bird, that no one else had locally. They had what I needed and made a reasonable offer for the 2 birds that I ended up purchasing. Both the clerk and manager were understanding of my situation, loss. There was no hard sell, having listened and knew I had what I needed for the two birds. I will shop at Petco again.

    Went in to buy a new set up for my false Mississippi map turtle and was highly confused and lost. Was helped by a employee named Amanda, she was possibly the best employee I've ever encountered!! She helped me with everything, she even showed me her set up for her water turtles to help! I literally couldn't not have done it without her! She is absolutely amazing! I hope they give her a raise and a promotion! She definitely deserves it! Will deserves go back for any other needs
