There are various picnic areas around the dam. Down the bottom area and middle area access by Admiral Road. And the top of dam area access by Springfield Road. The bottom area does have what use to be a swimming area. I use to swim there about 20 years ago however it doesnt seem to be as maintained anymore. I personally would not swim there anymore. The top area has a more cleaner layout with 2 free gas push button bbq's provided. There are toilet facilities if needed. There is a higher area called rotary lookout that you can walk, it is a short trek offering higher views. I feel since the fences were installed this view is hampered alot.

Great spot to stop and have lunch. BBQ and picnic table available. Great walk over the bridge to view the dam. Swimming is prohibited as it a water catchment area for drinking water.

A nice park. It's quite popular during hot summer days as there's BBQs and shade. However the rangers have been keeping the park closed on very hot days due to the fire danger. A bit of a pity as that's when it's the most popular due to the swimming at the bottom of the dam. Access to the dam from the Admiral Road side is limited to those with good fitness as you need to walk up a relatively steep hill and climb over or under the gate. Access from the Springfield Road side is easy as the car park is next to the top of the dam wall. The park closes at 5:00 during the winter months, but is open till 6:00 during the summer months.

Its a nice scenery, a secluded spot few minutes from the mail road for a quiet picnic and marvellous scenery of the Lake and Dam. It could be better with better facilities and picnic tables etc. List a point on that. But Nature is amazing at this places.

It is lovely to view the lake and walk along the top of the dam. There are BBQ facilities at the dam and two more BBQ facilities one below the dam and one at the car park area at the end of Admiral road.

Would be a lovely spot if they upgraded the infrastructure. I guess not enough people use the space any more. Picnic tables are all perishing from the elements. Shame you can't drive over the dam nowadays. Ok to wander over the dam with the kids but not much reason to hang around.

What a beautiful place for a picnic or a walk. Highly recommended as it is a quiet place with a lot of facilities (bbqs and toilets) A few places to explore as well through walking trails and alike. When it opened it must ha e been a great place with a swimming hole and alike. That is closed now but you can see where it was and its worth the trip.

Very beautiful. Water is suuper clear but the place is a bit restricted in where you can go. Also when we went down to the bottom of the dam there were people caming there fighting and swearing so I don't know if it's to safe there.

Nice place for a walk , veiws . Has some nice downhills if your into something extreme Has a bbq area on both sides and one side had a nice place to swim with iconic rope swim .. but the water is in swimmable due to a bacteria in the water

Very nice place to relax. One of my favorite dams when riding

A waste of time visiting this spot now. You can’t drive or walk over the dam wall and the picnic area is in a great state of disrepair. There was no signage before we drove in to indicate that this area is now not looked after at all and that you can’t get to the dam wall.

Great walk and place for a picnic. There are two locations. 1 is at the top of the dam and you can walk across it. The other is at the bottom of the dam.

👍👍 Churchman Brook Dam and playground. The playground is new! Lovely refreshed grounds. New toilet block. Plenty of parking. A couple of bbqs. Plenty of bins. The playground is suitable from about 2 years onwards climbing-wise. However there are paths all around for prams/bikes/scooters. Also a lovely...

👍👍 Plenty of parking at the carpark off Albany highway. Slight incline on the walk up. Wide, clear main trail. Signs with maps of various walk trails. Slightly smaller, but still clear walk trails once further inside the park. On our first visit we even saw an echidna! Plenty of birdlife and wildflower...
