Nostalgic eaterie providing the best Pork Tenderloin Sandwich in DMI! I could go on and on but this is legendary. I grew up on these and this one was hitting! I didn't know they had a drive through either. It was Christmas in June.

Drove 2 1/2 hours from Omaha today, mainly because the Grinders are so ridiculously delicious!! But, I love everything I've ever eaten here. The Pork Tenderloin, the Onion Rings, the Hot Ham & Cheese... I could go on, but I won't. Keep it up, Mr Bibbs!!

UPDATE: Since my review a couple months ago we have gone back several times because it has improved dramatically. The service has improved 100%. Those working are much nicer. Those that were continuously rude no longer seem to work there, or if they do they're kept away from the customers. The food us and always has been great. So glad to see them getting back to the kind of place we always enjoyed. Love this place. Unfortunately, since Cathy and Jon are no longer running it the customer service has gone down hill greatly depending on who's working. They're now open until 5 on week nights, but depending on who's working won't answer the phone after 4:15 (that's when I started trying to call), took the phone off the hook by 4:30 and by 4:40 had shut off all lights and would not come to the window. This is not the first time this has happened. The food is still great when you can get it.

Dine in isn't open but they are fast thru the drive thru.

Never there on said hours, they don’t answer the phone. Has gone down hill since the owner had passed and the wife is not working. Please update your hours or at least stick to them!

If there were more than 5 stars to give them I would. They have the best tenderloins ever. Always tender,love the onion rings and my friends are always happy with their burgers. I moved to west desmoines and still travel across town to come here

They have changed something about their onion rings. They now have a buttery flavor to them. Or at least they did when we visited them. Still good but liked the onion rings better how they was before.

A classic. Great food all around. Being a North polar bear, I've been eating here since the last century, and the food has always been great. The tenderloins are thick and tasty, and the onion rings are nostalgic. Cash only.

Foods great hours it's open are few But it's worth it my only gripe is I have no clue how to look at there menu so I'm always getting the same thing haha

I just love their guinea grinders even though I live in Arizona I was down and visiting and mr. Bib love their food

Darn good onion rings and tenderloin as always. Been All over the country and Mr. Bibbs always superb.

The tenderloin was nice. The grinder...not so much. The onion rings were a little dry. The Sierra Mist tasted old.

The hand made tenderloins and onion rings are to die for. Their house made sausage for the grinders and hot sausage sandwiches is so very flavorful. A 10/10. Highly recommend

Great food and great service. Grinders, chili dogs, Philly cheese steak, shakes, it's all good. The fries and onion rings are awesome.

This is about the kindness and compassion of Mr. Bibbs' employees. I picked my grandson up from FB at North high and took my grandkids to Mr. Bibbs to get lunch. I am not from DSM and didn't know it was cash/check only. They let me go to work to get a check and pay them. The food was good too and reasonably priced. Bring your teenagers here.

Best tenderloin in town, big and juicy, must call ahead and then pull around the drive through. Crinkle fries are excellent too.

My favorite place in Des Moines to get a guinea grinder. Their tenderloins are very good also. Try the fried okra or my favorite is the fried cauliflower with ranch dressing. It's to die for. Excellent place to eat.

Visiting from Michigan, my sister said this place had the best tenderloins so we stopped. It was great and huge!, and the fries were fantastic as well. I'll be back the next time I visit the area!
