One of the best Misal I ever had. They got amazing legacy of 100 years. Now their 4rth generation is handling this legacy with perfection. You can see photographs of many celebrities who has tried and loved their misal. Best part is everything is made homemade. They serve sliced bread which was intresting. You can customise the spiciness as per your liking isn’t it best. So do try their misal and I am sure you would love it.

I ate Bawda misal for the first time...they add "pohyacha chivda" in misal and personally I don't like chiwda in missal....I respect their mix and work....but personally I don't find the misal special .

Their service is fast, ambience is simple and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The misal was delicious, spicy, with a rich and complex flavor. The bread and mixture were fresh but not crunchy. NOTE:- I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves misal pav, BUT if you like to eat misal with Farsan then avoid this place because they use poha chiwda insted of farsan.

Seriously this is what you call best misal? I am judging you kolhapurkars. It was really tasteless. When We entered the aroma was so amazing we thought that yes misal is going to me amazing but as soon as we eat the first bite, we started looking at each other and our faces were like why even this place exist. It's a suggestion to hotel owner that please please do visit Pune atleast once. You can have misal at literally any hotel you want no matter how much small it is or big it is, I am pretty sure it will be 10 times better that yours. Please a warning if you are from Pune then do not visit this place you will regret it. Our taste buds are super amazing place find some other place.

Ambience is great here. It feels like old home in village area. Superb lighting and all. Service is good. Wall Paintings are great, guves special look to the place. Architectural view of this place is really beautiful. But, taste wise not that good. Specifically misal lovers will not like it. At start, given bhaji was soo thick. And misal was not spicy at all, which kolhapurkars wants specially in misal.

This establishment was inaugurated in 1923, probably the oldest Misal eatery in the city. On Friday, it is closed so don't visit on Friday. It opens around 8:30 in the morning. We were the first ones to visit in the morning but we had freshly made hot and tasty misal pav. Also, I'll recommend to have Solkadhi here after misal just to quench your thirst. Quality in incomparable. You can also see collection of photographs of celebrities who had visited the place or had been served the dish in Kolhapur or outside. They have lots of pics with many celebrities who visited here... People don't have any idea about what taste is....Who mixes chivda, that too tasteless in misal.. Don't they have farsan... Chivda made at home during Diwali is far better... They just give 2 bread piece along with it....Misal made at my home is 100 times better than this... Food that should be served for atmost Rs 30 is served for rs 80 😂 waste of money...

One of the best misal pav joint in Kohlapur very tasty and aunthetic misal with reasonable price . This year it seems it's 100 th year . One must try this place with family . The kokum Soul kadi is also good which they serve after misal pav which balances the spicey tango misal pav .

99 year old establishment. Seems run by third generation. We had both the available dishes. Misal & Cut Vada. Misal was spicy for our taste. Show many Loyal Regulars. Sol kadhi was great though. Very old furniture. Though the ingredients were too quality; over all cleanliness was missing.

It was the most coveted place to eat authentic misal in the 70's, 80's. I mean 1970, 1980s. Very few people have its originality. Quite a filmstars of that time visited this place. But the Chavan family was a humble one. Didn't file patent kind of thing. I miss the originalty and if anyone comes across its originalty do let me know.

Next year this place will be 100 Years old. Visited this place thanks to recommendation from a local, wanted to eat authentic Kolhapuri misal and was not disappointed. The bread that they serve with the misal is super soft and fresh. Also loved the solkadi and one of us had the coffee which had a beautiful aroma.

An oldest outlet 100 years old, of a pure Kolhapuri cuisine called मिसळ. Wellknown for a bollywood hangout in Kolhapur when they used to visit for the shoots a gew decades ago. The photographs therein are its testimony.

Visited the place based on an TOI article enlisting 5 famous Misal centers in Kolhapur. Either the misal center has lost its originality or the TOI article was sponsered by these hotels. Misal was cold, and lacked the overall taste. एका शब्दात सांगायचं तर मिळमिळीत . Even the quantity of misal was not enough. They did not provide curry. It's a small place - not what I expected from such a fomous hotel. They dont serve tea but can serve coffee. I did not understand the logic. The only positive thing was the misal was value for money. They charged only Rs. 50 and provided quality and quantity accordingly. बोले तो इत्ते पैसे मे ऐसाईच मिलेगा.
