Last weekend we had the pleasure of staying at Balingup Heights Hilltop Forest Cottages with another couple, and cannot express enough how truly wonderful the experience was. From the breathtaking views to the cosy accommodation and wandering farm animals, every aspect of our stay was simply perfect. Let's start with the the views - wow! Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush green forest, the panoramic vistas from each cottage were nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to such a mesmerising sight each morning was a treat for the soul. We spent hours just gazing out at the beauty, feeling completely at peace and in awe of nature's grandeur...and so wonderful to see so many stars at night. The cottage accommodation was absolutely charming. The pot belly stove exuded warmth and comfort, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure a delightful stay. The breakfast hamper was more than ample and the cottage included a slow cooker, so it was wonderful to put dinner on in the morning and come back to warm soul food after hours exploring Balingup and its surrounds. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, making us feel immediately right at home. Thank you Deb and Brian (and Maddie the dog) for such a memorable stay - we will be back!

My partner and I stayed in the Bythe Cottage, this is such a beautiful breathtaking experience, the cabin was spotless clean. We had so much fun feeding the farm animals and hiking around the areas. The Misty sunrise mornings and sunset nights on the very top of Balingup heights is so gorgeous and now one of my favourite spots, will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I came down for 3 nights rest, and celebrate our birthdays as life had been pretty busy. It is such a beautiful spot to come and do very little or a lot. The views and the walks in the forrest are enough in itself. Cabins are comfortable and well equipped. Great to have the pot belly warm the place - nothing like watching the flames to relax you. Would certainly recommend.

Absolute beauty of a cottage, we had the best time staying here. The cottage was so cosy and beautiful. The lovely handwritten note and chocolate gift from Deb and Brian to welcome and congratulate us was such a kind and beautiful surprise. We also love waking up each morning to the stunning fog and view, and the fireplace was so perfect to warm up each night. The cottage had everything we needed to use and more. It was truly so peaceful and the perfect place to spend quality time together. Thank you

We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. The cottages were perfect for a family of 4 (and can accommodate an extra child easily too). They were kitted out with everything we needed. There is only a few cottages on the property and they were all a nice distance away from each other, so you mostly felt you had the place to yourself. And what a view!!! It was wet and cold during our stay, and the cottage was easy to warm up either with the fire or the reverse cycle AC. The kids (7yo and 9yo) played endlessly outside, rain or shine, and loved the animal feeding every morning. They also had a ball picking persimmons and chestnuts (and eating them both too)! Balingup itself is a great little town, and you're not far away from many day trips. Lastly, Brian and Deb were amazing hosts.

Thanks Deb and Brian. We had an amazing stay. Very clean cottage with complete kitchen facilities which we really enjoyed as we love to cook our own meal. Balingup is such a nice very romantic town that me and my partner enjoyed. No wi-fi but that’s ok. We enjoyed our time being away with technology as we are both Vodafone subscribers and they’re completely useless telecom service provider outside Perth. Until next time. Make sure to have Telstra or Optus.

Just spent the most amazing weekend with our 8 year old at Balingup Heights, perfect winter family getaway. Deb and Brian go out of their way to ensure their guests have a wonderful experience, the animals were so much fun to feed and the accommodation is peaceful and cosy. We will definitely be back!

Our second holiday at balingup heights and once again it did not disappoint! We were lucky enough to get different weather types during our stay with a beautiful sun rise on our last day! Our young children were delighted with the animals on the farm and being able to interact and feed them made their days. It is well looked after by the kind owners and we look forward to enjoying the beauty of balingup from the wonderful cabins in future years.

We have stayed twice at Balingup Heights, and it has been a wonderful experience each time. We stayed in beautiful hilltop cottages, well-equipped for families or couples and with beautiful grounds. From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the tranquil surroundings and the stunning views. Deb and Brian gave us a very warm welcome on arrival, and their attention to detail ensured that accommodation was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the amenities needed for our stay. Special mention must be made of Maddy, their sweet and friendly dog who greeted us on arrival and played with our kids throughout their stay. Our family loved our holiday at Balingup Heights, and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
