Basic at most! I ordered a “Jumbo Chicken Wing Dinner” & 1/2 pounds of JUMBO shrimp…I must say they do live by their promise of “JUMBO” because the wings are huge and the shrimp. The guy at register was not so customer service friendly though could have been a bad day or what ever the case is , See people don’t understand the whole “Customer Service” thing….If you don’t want to be nice fake it until you make it. (LOL) that will run business away! and it takes away from a persons experience. 😒 & I did not get my Cocktail sauce for the shrimp . Things like condiments we shouldn’t have to remind them of as they should already come with my order as I requested them. But I give them 3 stars only because of the potion size I was also out of there in Les than 15 mins. BUT… it’s average tasting at best! I’ll add my photos , BTW I added my own lemon pepper sprinkle on the wings. 🙂

Wanted to support a local restaurant and ended up being a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! NEVER AGAIN!!!! I paid $49 for unseasoned tasteless food. Ordered a pound of catfish, they didn’t give me a fillet they gave me nuggets. I ordered the red beans and rice it was soggy and unseasoned! I had to recook it on my stove and add seasoning to it. The buffalo shrimp wasn’t coated with flour properly it fell off. And please don’t let me get started on the fried green tomatoes leave fried green tomatoes to the people of the SOUTH! I refried them in the air fryer they weren’t cooked all the way through! I honestly want my money back! Support more black owned businesses.

The food is nasty I ordered off of doordash the food was sitting so long that the top melted, the hush papppies are burned. The own was very rude and wanted to argue with me because I told him that the hush puppies look like they were in bad grease. I do not recommend due to old food and bad customer service

Not far from the Ford plant and right by the Calumet River is Harbor Point Shrimp. The spot looks and feels like the neighborhood, like blue collor family. Been wanting to try this spot for a while and I wasn't disappointed. Ordered the crab chips, alligator, shrimp and fried pickles everything was fresh and fried perfectly. The honey mustard with the alligator was a nice touch. The crab and shrimp was savory and light. It maybe blue collar but feels it could be fine dinning in its flavor.

Man this place is the best, best bang for your buck and best seafood! I can spend less money here and get more food and higher quality food than anywhere else. I've ordered almost everything off the menu and it was all cooked to perfection. The staff is just as good as the food! This place deserves a michelin star!

Gumbo was alright but I ain't never had no plain white bread or French bread with no Gumbo. N the peach cobbler didn't have a peach in it all crust. I ain't never...

Ordered from DoorDash, this restaurant isn’t far- but the fried shrimp was really tasty! Their homemade sauce was a game changer for me- it was like mild sauce and cocktail sauce had a baby lol.. I WOULD NOT order the lobster Mac and cheese again because, albeit flavorful, there seemed to be imitation specks and I do mean very tiny almost minced pieces of what tasted like imitation lobster..

I enjoyed parts of my dinner I got the blacken catfish and it was flavorless and tasted like it’s been sitting is soapy water and oil. I got the red beans and rice and honestly it tasted like soap and butter. The lobster Mac and cheese was alright. My partner got the jumbo shrimp and cheese sticks..it was really good. My parent enjoyed his food and since the portions are big I tossed my dinner and we shared his. I brought from this place and the these items because the reviews spoke so highly of them. I probably ordered on a bad night but I don’t know if I’ll try again. I don’t like my food tasting like soap.

The menu hosts a variety of favored seafood cuisine such as lobster mac and fried green beans. They also have sandwich options. They are careful in their preparation of the food as to not cause cross contamination. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. I had the 1/2 Jumbo Shrimp and I enjoyed every last bite!! They were fresh and plump, and cooked to perfect.

The fried alligator is really good. The catfish is also amazing. The lobster mac was delicious. Portion size for all is worth the price. (They aren't stingy with the fries either😋)

This is a hidden gem. The food is always hot and fresh. If you love seafood, give them a try.

Small establishment building is not much on eyes but the service and food is too notch. For the money, I got plenty enough. Do recommend

I had a great customer service experience. The Staff was friendly, patient and very professional. My order was correct. My food was hot, fresh and not over or under cooked. Great dining experience.

Very affordable priced seafood tastes delicious I tried to get their fried alligator but they did not have it, they have a delicious lobster Mac and cheese all a good experience, will keep trying to get that fried alligator.

What I ordered was catfish, what I received, was DEFINITELY NOT CATFISH!!! Only my 2nd time here but I know the difference. Let's not continue to try and fool customers like this. Maybe bread it the same as the whiting, instead of what you're using. I'm VERY disappointed with my order, was expecting different.

Iam so disappointed! I've been going to harbour point for years but this is the first time I tasted it since new ownership. The menu is vast but it means nothing when everything is just ok. Too much breading on everything! Got the oysters and I didn't know oysters could possibly be slimy after frying. The shrimp fall right out of the batter coating. Harbour Point is better than this. Get more in tune with what your serving and specialize in something instead of just throwing selections out that lack taste and flavor.

1st time going was decent! I got the 2lbs of shrimp. Loved that they were split up cause half for was my husband and the other was for me. Crab cake wasn't to my licking. Crab stix a HIT!! GREAT TASTE overrall! I'd definitely turn for different items.

My family has been going there forever and it's not always been a ride around the block. They will travel to get great food, never a disappointment. How does traveling 500 plus miles and making sure Harbour Point is a must stop!!! Hands down and over the top.the Calossal Shrimp are ever bite worth the trip.

The young man who served us was very polite and attentive! I didn't like the flavor of the beading nor the thick layer of breading on the shrimp and had to remove it..but they were a good size! Same for the fried zucchini..but I removed only some the breading on them...they had a much better flavor!
