12
months
ago,
I
was
diagnosed
with
Bowel
Cancer.
After
2
major
surgeries,
5
rounds
of
radiation
therapy
and
5
months
of
Chemotherapy,
and
a
considerable
scar,
I'd
lost
confidence,
strength,
and
muscle
power
and
tone
and
essentially
felt
like
a
weak
rag
doll.
I
had
looked
at
an
add
about
Speed
Fit
on
social
media
and
contacted
the
guys
via
DM
inquiring
if
I
could
come
see
how
I
would
go
and
if
it
were
something
that
would
benefit
me.
I
received
a
call
from
Cal
the
following
day,
who
was
particularly
calming
and
sincere.
He
asked
me
some
questions
about
my
recovery
and
what
I
was
looking
for
to
get
out
of
doing
speed
fit.
I
recall
laughing
with
him
as
I
pointed
out
that
I'm
a
very
impatient
girl
and
get
bored
when
I
have
to
exercise,
so
I
believed
20 min
would
be
enough.
Trust
me,
it's
enough.
😁
I
have
been
going
to
Speed
Fit
Mandurah
every
week
for
the
past
6
months.
At
first
I
would
go
straight
home
and
fall
asleep
on
the
couch,
but
after
a
few
weeks
I
could
feel
my
body
becoming
stronger
and
my
rebound
after
each
session
was
easier,
I
felt
great,
exhausted,
but
great.
My
mental
health,
body
strength
and
tone
are
better
than
before
my
cancer
diagnosis.
The
guys
know
your
name,
to
me,
that's
big.
They
recognize
how
to
encourage
and
push
you.
If
you
want
to
be
pushed,
they
make
it
fun,
they
take
an
interest
in
what
you
are
working
on,
and
its
a
non-judgemental
environmental.
And
the
banter
always
makes
me
smile
too.
Great
job
guys.
