We were able to try a little but of everything when we came in for dinner on a Thursday night. For appetizers we got the pretzel bites and cheese curds. The pretzel bites were.. mediocre but you did get a lot of them. Most were overcooked but not terrible. The cheese curds were great with either ranch or marinara! For our main courses I got the honey chicken which has amazing flavor and spice to it. The side of fries were perfect as well. My wife got a tomato soup and salad which was creamy and fresh. My son has the grilled cheese, great flavor on sourdough bread with fries! Overall the gastrobar has a great vibe to come and watch a game with friends or come and have a nice dinner with family. We will definitely be coming back!

This bar is great! They always have seating and the outside patio is great in summer. Staff is friendly and the food is always top quality. They have delicious fried calamari!

This bar was outstanding! The service was phenomenal and the drinks were amazing! The Bar tender was excellent, his name is Maxwell he was very helpful when it came to choosing drinks and he made sure to keep the energy high! The food was very good as well! The atmosphere was fun. It was a bit empty because it was a week day but the energy was definitely still there! The music could be improved, but it wasn’t terrible.

Went on a Friday evening for dinner and drinks. Such a great time. The atmosphere is EVERYTHING. Great space, great music, and friendly service. Shout-out to our server Kayla, she was wonderful!!! Weeknight happy hour from 4-7 so our appetizers were half off. Had the trio chip dip and buffalo chicken flatbread. Both were tasty. For dinner we had the grilled cheese and chicken tacos. I have nothing bad to say. Everything was so tasty and most importantly, affordable. Will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

I went on a Tuesday at 12pm and sat at the bar. I ordered one of the seasonal drinks and the garnishes were not ready. The bartender did bring over raspberries later, but no lemon peel. Spent around $70 for two (not including tip) on two apps and 4 drinks.

The Tuesday burger special is a must. Only $5 for yummy burgers. The service and the food was good. The location is great and the interior is beautiful too.

Never had food from ANY Bar Louie that impressed me and this location kept the streak alive. Chicken skin was almost burnt and my gf hamburger was well over cooked. 3 stars of course goes to the bartender for her drinks. Old Fashion was great and the other drink I had was good as well.

The staff's approach came across as discourteous, which significantly impacted the overall atmosphere. Additionally, the lack of engagement from the management team, particularly the manager's reluctance to address our concerns, was concerning. We believe that professional interaction is crucial for a positive dining experience and hope this feedback can be used for future improvements.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bar Louie in Bolingbrook, and I must say, the experience was exceptional, thanks largely to Mon, the bartender. Her vibrant personality truly brightened the atmosphere, making the evening memorable. The martinis she made were outstanding – each one a perfect blend of flavors, expertly mixed and beautifully presented. Mon’s meticulous attention to detail and genuine hospitality were evident throughout my visit. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right, contributing significantly to the fantastic time I had. Bartenders like Mon are the reason Bar Louie stands out. Her dedication to great service is commendable. Thank you, Mon, for making my visit so enjoyable – your skill and kindness are truly appreciated!

Bar Louie in Bolingbrook for me is a must visit. Their Gastro-burger is my favorite. I am sure other food is good, I just have not got past this burger. Today Destiny was my server at the bar and did an excellent job. See you all soon.

My wife and I went here for dinner and we where able to get seated right away. The food was good and the prices are not too bad especially for the amount food you get. Staff was very friendly and checking up on us often. Drinks are very good. My wife ordered an old fashion and it was great, I would recommend it to others. Only complaint I have is we ordered Calamari and I felt like for $12.50 there could've been a few more. But overall we had a great time and i would recommend it to others.

Very nice bar. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the background music sets up a claiming experience. The drinks are well mixed. The bartender Maria is professional and pleasant to talk to. The cheese curds are 10/10 in texture and flavor.

I had such a great time here! Our server JJ was the sweetest! She made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. Absolutely amazing experience. We will definitely be back again!

The atmosphere is fun and welcoming! Kristi was my bartender and she was very well organized & helpful with helping adjust items to my diet (vegetarian). Both drinks I tried were wonderful as well! Such a perfect blend of flavors, even when I asked for one to be made without Pineapple which she accommodated beautifully. I left very satisfied thanks to Kristi’s wonderful service!

Dom was amazing and super attentive! I had the "An International Love Affair" martini (Jameson Cold Brew, Disaronno Velvet, coffee, cocoa dust) and it was fabulous and smooth [pictured]. My Blue Wedge salad with the crispy chicken added was delicious as well! Fresh and flavorful. Our table busser was also very efficient!

Service was very slow. I had to go ask for plates and silverware after our appetizers were delivered. Was brought plastic silverware. My husband tried to order 2 different beers on tap. They were totally out of both. My sister-in-law asked for a margarita with salt, didn't even have salt on it when it arrived in a tall glass. When dinner was delivered had to ask for real silverware. The food was good, first experience there, not sure we will be back.

Destiny made our experience at bar Louie amazing!!! She was so attentive & friendly. We will definitely be back to see her. 10/10 recommend coming here just for the customer service alone.

First time in. Enjoyed the Louie Cosmo made perfectly by the very friendly bartender Corine. Enjoyed the Choice Burger too, made to perfection. Deelish! Was impressed by the service. Even the Manager Ashley stopped by to check on us. Good food, great drinks and great staff. Definitely will go back!

Maxell was awesome. Hard to find bartenders that actually want to talk to their guests nowadays. I’m probably not the easiest patron - my drink order is complicated and I like perfection - but this young man took the time to get it right. I’ve been back twice for this service but Max wasn’t there. Guess we’re on opposite schedules but I can’t wait to get another perfect tall double vodka soda with a double lime, pinch of zest , and dribble of grenadine. Thanks, BL

This has become our new spot whenever we're visiting and need to catch up with my mother in law. We've been to Bar Louise a few times and every time we were pleasantly surprised by their food selections and quality. I love their Calamari and my mother in law was thoroughly impressed with their Quinoa Chop Salad. Also, thank you Glory for your lovely service. You were an icing on the cake. Thank you. :)

I’ve never made a review in my life, but today is the day. The only thing I can recommend is that they need 1 more server during the day shift. My server, yesterday around brunch time, was AMAZING, to say the least. I watched her serve 5/6 different tables AND make and bring my husband and I our drinks in under 2 minutes. I believe there was only 1 other server. The drinks were great. Our food took a little long, but I saw only 2 girls in the kitchen and the whole restaurant was full. All in all, the entire staff who was present were very hardworking individuals and I felt like it needed to be recognized!

Great place. Good food. We had a nice server, but it was hard to get ahold of her because we noticed she's taking care of all the tables AND cooking while 4 or 5 other employees were hanging out, not doing anything. We even saw two men waiting for her to stock kegs for them. This was wild to watch.

Had a great experience here! Me and the family were seated promptly and the staff was amazing and friendly, yet professional,especially Garrett. Food was great all around, burger cooked right the first time. Appetizers were delicious. The specialty drinks I got at the bar from Sedrick were beyond amazing! All in all a great time and good experience. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a good experience. Didn't realize how late they are open which was helpful for us on a Sunday evening, when most places were closing. Our server was attentive and friendly. Food was good, they ran out of fries but tater tots were a good solution. They have a great drink menu as well.

Max is an amazing bartender!!! Very kind and quick with getting out drinks. And Ashley is also the cutest manager <3 great place to visit, highly recommend.

First time coming here and I had a great experience. It was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxed and nice. Sporty but rustic. The layout of the bar was nice if that’s what you are into, and I like how you can see into the kitchen. There are plenty of seating options The food was great and customer service matched it. My server Tanya was great and her coligues were just as amazing. Overall my server was very attentive and sweet with anything I asked for, will definitely be coming back because of her. NEEDS A RAISE !!

Tanya is such an amazing waitress. She makes our stay here every time so enjoyable and all the staff is equally as amazing they’re very welcoming. We love how the manager checks up on the tables and is so sweet to come and make sure we’re doing well. Drinks are amazing too! :) Definitely recommend and will continue to come back!!

Food was good, but service was terrible. We ordered beers and after 20 minutes, one member of our party approached the bar and asked when they would be ready. We hadn't even received water. The manager was standing at the bar chatting up the bar tender and another worker and said, "Oh, your drinks are right here. Your server will bring them over." Our server was taking car of 90% of the restaurant while these other employees and the manager sat around chatting. Our server, the hostess, and the chefs were the only ones working the entire time we were there. Maybe one of them should be made manager and things could run better.

Bar Louie in Bolingbrook has so much to offer. The food and drinks were amazing. This experience was top tier. Literally second to none. I appreciate the service that I was provided. Maria was an excellent bartender! She attended to all of our needs. I will be back soon!

But the truth is customer service is the reason I’ve kept coming back to this location. If you ever have the pleasure to meet Stormie who is the manger here, just know you will have the most exceptional service. Stormie is a fantastic leader, there has yet to be one time I’ve set foot here and she’s not gone above and beyond her title to ensure customer satisfaction. To be honest, I believe she’s a big contributor to the success of this establishment. In the past, I didn’t have the best experience at this particular location and even considered not returning. But since she’s been a part of this team I have yet to be disappointed, and she always makes it a priority to accommodate myself and others. Honestly, I don’t leave a lot of reviews but today that all changed… I had a horrible day at work and was thirsty for a cold beer and some good food. I saw that Bar Louie was open late and I thought I’d give it a shot. Let me tell you, It was the best experience I’ve had in 3-4 months. Maxx was a pure saint and Jodie was a goddess. My frown turned upside down and I can’t wait to visit again.

Loved the food, the drinks and atmosphere. Service could improve. I understand employee shortage so when you come here you really need to be prepared with patience.

Phenomenal service and food! I came in with a large work party and was taken care of by Dom and Ivan. We started off with an array of apps. Fried pickles, spinach dip, pretzels, and a few other. Both apps and their dipping sauces were a 10/10. The drinks also very good. I wanted something light and refreshing and was recommended the Effen Good martini, which is a cucumber flavor. Excellent!! Will definitely plan another work event here!

Angel was the best server ever! Super attentive and kind!!! Will be coming back to eat in her section. She was also very festive for st.pattys and gave me a green bendy straw:)

Our server Maria recommended the Bourbon Apple Highball it was delicious! I have a plant based diet so it’s difficult sometimes to find options and I was fortunate to find delicious shishito peppers, pretzels and an impossible burger 🍔 yummy!! I came in one night and had Natalie as a server. She gave great customer service, had good knowledge of the menu and made me feel right at home. The restaurant was very tidy and neat, the staff was very respectable and the food was phenomenal. Anybody looking for a late night family restaurant with a bar, I highly recommend stopping in Bar Louie for a great experience.

Max and Dom were very friendly. My experience was wonderful!!!! The food was served promptly and hot. The drinks were very good and the suggestions were even better! As a suggestion. I recommend trying a cranberry and orange juice mimosa. Awesome!!

I always enjoy my time here. The staff is amazing and attentive. I normally sit at the bar and all the staff is really great. I have to give a special shout out to Destiny and those Long Islands. It doesn’t matter which one you get, they all are great!!!!! I’m drinking a shot and beer now.

I had a very enjoyable time taking my girlfriend here. I had previously gone to the location in Geneva, IL however I was in the area and thought I would check out this one. To start I cannot express how genuine and kind our bar tender was, Max. He made the experience at Bar Louie to really be set apart from other restaurants/bars I have been to. I am MOST DEFINITELY coming back here. The other staff seemed to be right there with their hospitality, but I can’t say enough good things about Max. I highly recommend this spot for good food and even better drinks.

Amazing experience, everything from the drinks and the food to the service was on point. I did notice the staff was a little distracted and took a while but Stormie noticed and hopped in to attend us promptly and she was walking around helping everywhere from cleaning tables to running food, just a little frustrating when you see staff hanging out and you’re waiting to place an order. But nonetheless wait time aside, everything came out perfect will recommend
