I had been looking for a good salon for a while, but I think I found my place! From the moment I walked in everyone was so friendly and the service was excellent. My haircut came out wonderfully (I highly recommend Erika) and I can’t wait to go back!

Would definitely recommend Erika! She was precise and thorough, and gave the best wash I've had in years. Definitely the best haircut I've had in a long time! Also everyone there was very friendly, I was greeted as soon as I came in by a lovely human who immediately offered me a drink or snack. Generally felt taken care of.

Barb is a true artiste and she is extremely thorough and detail oriented. She is very invested in making her clients happy and the whole staff - warm and welcoming and hospitable. I observe their effort to collaborate with clients of different cultures and faiths with so much respect …..and that is lovely and admirable . I have had to change my appointment at one time and it was made easy for me to do so, for which I was also grateful. My only less than positive comment is regarding the extra 3 percent service fee, and Hair Base’s pricing is about 30 percent higher compared to my previous salon. This is the best salon! Grace always takes good care of me and my hair. She is very thorough and works hard to make sure the end result is the very best it can be. She gives me excellent advice to ensure I don’t do anything that could damage my hair. Everyone there is so friendly and nice. Highlight of my day every time I go there.

I had an amazing experience here. My hair was done by Zeena and she was so sweet and everyone is friendly and professional. It feels like a community in the salon, Grace came and helped with the consulting and deciding what was to be done to get what I want for my high lights. I adored how my hair was cut and styled and I was happy with how my hair turned out. Everyone is constantly checking in with the clients and making sure everyone is comfortable and take care of. Definitely recommend, especially Zeena but I could tell everyone is truly passionate about their job.

Zeena was amazing and did exactly what I asked for. She even gave great advice for the layering and styling I wanted. All around a great experience! Will be returning.

I don’t normally leave reviews publicly but I’ll do it for this place. Nice atmosphere and people all around, no bad attitudes. I went in to get help on growing out grey, after having many bad dye jobs. My stylist Teresa knew exactly what I wanted/needed without me even knowing myself! She was very knowledgeable and experienced and seems to enjoy what she does. Not only that but I needed a trim and she gave me an awesome cut, all for reasonable prices! I’m so glad I found this gem and will be going here for the rest of my grey adventure.

Hey there!!! I moved to the West Ridge neighborhood 6 months ago. So I started doing my research about the different kinds of establishments around my new home to see where to go a restaurant, grocery shopping, parks to hang around and you know? Just everything that I need to settle down and feel comfortable. And TODAY I went for my first haircut to Hair Base Salon & Spa in 4 years!!! I went last week for a consultation for Japanese Straightening / Thermal Straightening because I wanted to know better the place. Teresa was the one who took care of me and the customer service was AWESOME with the kind Zeena assisting her I’m speechless. She took the time for me, my concerns, and ALL my questions. But she “REALLY TOOK the time” (if you know what I mean) and they even reserved a special cubicle for me for the consultation. She tested my hair and explained how the process would be. I’m obsessed with the details and she had a professional answer for everything with a precision that made me feel full trust in her after minute five. After less than a week, I decided this was my place not only for the chemical process but also for my haircut; and Grace was the one who scheduled my appointment. After I explained to her what I wanted she quickly addressed me to Barbara. I will forever be grateful to her!!! Barbara did not just do a plain consultation. She takes her job with such passion that I’ve never seen before. I'm really in shock with the level of experience, was updated on TECHNIQUE haircut trends, and the gift of understanding the customer's (me) concerns, and ideas, and what will blow out your mind: I loved that we started talking about what I DIDN’T want until we arrived to the summary of what I EXACTLY wanted. She was taking in count, the thickness of my hair and the texture of it. Have ever had a stylist before telling you how the haircut you want will be adapted to the type of hair you have??? I love this salon! This is my second visit. Last time I got a cut and color with Teresa and she was FANTASTIC! Everyone there is so friendly. This salon has such a good environment and energy! It makes for such an inviting experience. Zeena gave me an amazing haircut and color today. I also got my eyebrows and waxing done today with her. Loved her! She is FABULOUS! This was my first time waxing, coloring eyebrows and threading. She did such a wonderful job. I’m so glad I found this salon.
