I was brought to Scuba Emporium by a good friend of mine who introduced me to the world of scuba diving. I am not very water friendly, didn't think I would be able to accomplish learning how to scuba dive. However, the instructors at Scuba Emporium, as well as the owners Patrick & Sherry Hammer, have been more than patient with me while I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into a world I never dreamed I'd be able to do! The instructors who I told many times I was "quitting" stuck by my side, encouraged me, and worked extra hard at helping me get comfortable with the idea of going under water and relaxing! I have been diving now for three years and last summer earned my Rescue Dive Certification (something else I would have NEVER dreamed of doing!). This company and all its employees, staff, and owners are top notch and deserve to be recognized for their outstanding work!

You'll have a difficult time finding anyone with more experience with the SCUBA industry and teaching than Pat at Scuba Emporium. He's started teaching SCUBA before most of their students were born. I think they literally live, eat and breathe SCUBA.

My son and I were recently certified back in May. Great place! Instructor Kevin and his assistant Mike?were awesome! Top notch place very professional. Going to test our skills in the Carribean soon. Thanks Scuba Emporium!

Getting ready to dive in Maui and Hawaii, looking for a reactivate class. Dive Right In surpassed our expectations!! Ryan was helpful and informative and online PADI scernaios and training was great!! John Holban was our in pool trainer and was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, easy going but attentive. Knows his stuff! Put everyone in the pool session at ease. Flew thru the skills, observed, reinforced proper technique and was so non stressed about it all. Re Activate was Fun, Useful and helpful!! I recommend the class!! Sincerely Kelly Boyce

Yay! I’m certified. Thanks to the dive instructor Patrick Hammer who was extremely patient with me. I had trouble with the open water skills due to being nervous. Patrick took the time to swim around with me until I was comfortable and was able to complete the skills in a calm state of mind. He made it comfortable and fun! So I highly recommend Patrick Hammer and Dive right Scuba everyone there is great!!!

Purchased a Mares dive computer for Christmas. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and gave me time to make a decision. The store is well stocked and the pool well maintained. While there, I purchased a new mask and booties. Dive Right runs a great chain of stores.

Great shop, just a short drive from Chicago! I have an upcoming liveaboard trip, my wife and I decided it was finally time to complete our scuba gear (BCDs, wetsuits and regulators). Alejandro was extremely helpfull, and went out of his way to get us everything we needed. Absolutely worth it!

Super helpful staff, went to get an air tank and the staff were so helpful with explaining the different valves and pressures and connections.

I love taking scuba classes at Scuba Emporium. No matter what class it is I end up having a great time and all the instructors are a blast! What a friendly environment and the shop really makes you feel at home and like family. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking to try scuba diving, further yourself in diving, and swimming/snorkeling classes!
