It was very entertaining how they could take a few words and on the spot create a story as quickly as they did. If you can go see it, I am sure you would enjoy it and it is close to home. It is in Libertyville right on IL 21.

Every show I have been to has been amazing! The actors have such great passion. I saw Dracula tonight and two new faces (Harker and Dracula) were a great addition to the wonderful cast.. Hope to co tinue to see all of them again this Christmas!

Improv Playhouse has so much going for it and is a bedrock for the arts in the northern Chicago suburbs. Our daughter especially enjoyed her time participating in the youth theater programs over the past 3 years. The instructors are seasoned professionals who care very much about the development of the kids. The growth and confidence our daughter has gained over that time is incredible. We’ll never forget the loving family environment IP provided. They have three different levels of youth theater classes covering grade school, middle school and high school. In addition to the theater programs, there are opportunities for the kids to take part in a Traveling Troupe that performs for the Libertyville community and surrounding areas to highlight the skills they have learned as well as the annual parade at Libertyville days. The improv and holiday shows are fantastic as well. Highly recommend checking out all of their diverse offerings!

I did improv for 5 years and absolutely loved it. It taught me to be confident and I learned many amazing things there. I 100% recommend.

The programs are great. My daughter went here several times for the summer camps and she liked it. But it was our younger teenage son who loved the improv programs. He has been coming here for a couple of years now and he really likes the place. The one who leads that program he goes to is really good. The place in general is great. The staff is nice and I have also seen shows outside of my kids’ shows and they are good as well too. It is great to have a local improv place to visit when one feels like it.

I have been taking classes here and have attended a couple shows. The instructors help create a sense of community and highlight teamwork. Kids camps can be expensive but you get a lot of value for the money. The shows are entertaining, and worth the price of admission

Great entertainment value. The cast really knows how to make you laugh. The family friendly and adult shows are both great. On top of that they offer Improv classes. No choice but to recommend!
