😠 Horrible lab filled with liars. I was told that i would receive my covid test results in a day so I used to this lab due to the fact that I needed quick results for my flight to Canada. It also states on their website that they have a one day turnaround time. Had my test done on Monday and my flight... People often mention time, tech, test, blood, called, call, show, told, results, service,

Horrible lab filled with liars. I was told that i would receive my covid test results in a day so I used to this lab due to the fact that I needed quick results for my flight to Canada. It also states on their website that they have a one day turnaround time. Had my test done on Monday and my flight on Wednesday. Today is Wednesday and still no results. Had to cancel a 9 passenger flight or my family and i just because we had no test results. I also tried calling the lab several times and I was lucky if I got someone to answer. I had to call them twice to remind them that i at least needed an email to show proof that I took a covid test so I can at least land and nothing. Didn't receive the email until it was past the time that I was supposed to land.

The technician who came out to do my 90 year old mothers blood draw and collect sample was professional and personable. However, the lab did not provide ordering dr. blood test results until two weeks later and has still as of today for six not provided the update on the stool sample. 90 year old man was showing bleeding but lab doesn’t seem to have concern. Every time I called StarLab to find out when the test results will be sent to the doctor they told me they did not have the fax number however I provided it at least three times and the doctors assistant said she had done the same. Someone name Mark answer the phone when you hit one as the option and he was going to call me back week ago and never did. Horrible service. Do not allow your physician to order labs through StarLab because they are horrible!

Wish it could be zero. My husband was being treated in home. The tech would schedule between 9 and noon. Never once did tech show up at the appointed time, and no earlier than 1, typically around 4 or no show! Yes, you read that right, 3 times a no show. We would get a call after 4 saying that it would be rescheduled for first thing the next day. Guess what, she didn’t show up during the appointment time THEY set up. Tech was scheduled for 30+ blood draws a day, and had to commute to each home to do it. The tech was very nice, did her job well and was extremely overwhelmed and overworked.

Star Lab, the way they run their business is unacceptable. Someone from the lab was supposed to come to my house to check my INR because I'm home bound. I take Warfarin and it is very important to keep a check on my blood work. I waited all day and no one showed up or called. I left a message with the office and never got a call back. The staff from my doctors office called Star Lab and they even got no where. Someone finally came out the following day without notifying me. I told the lady my daughter had to rearrange her work schedule in order to take me to get my blood work check at the hospital and I didn't need their service now or in the future. Star Lab can not be trusted they lie and don't follow through. I give Star Lab 0-stars.

Do NOT use this company. They were supposed to come between 9 - 11 am this morning to do a blood test for my elderly mother. No one showed up by 11 am so I called and was told the tech was in route. After 5 phone calls the tech called me back at 2 pm to tell me she was finally on her way. I told her my mother is a diabetic and could not wait all day to eat. She said no problem they will reschedule for tomorrow. Being 4 hours late I told her to forget it. I am going to use someone else. I also asked for a supervisor and was transfered to voicemail. They are very unprofessional. When you are dealing with people who are homebound have a little compassion and respect and show up when you say you will.

I also wish that I could give this company 0 stars. Two separate days they have not shown up for a fasting blood test for my elderly mother. It is just one excuse after another and they lie to you telling you that they called but didn't. Avoid using them!

My husband currently gets blood drawn from here once a week. Their standard line is your appointment is between 9 and 12 They NEVER show up in time and then when you call you’re put on hold forever They say they are short staffed due to Covid but I have been taking care of an elderly aunt pre Covid and the same thing Sometimes it would 7 at night even though they said between 9 and 12 I guess I need to figure out what time zone they are on. Also today the tech shows up with a mask way below the nose. Totally unprofessional company

All dealings have been wonderful with this company. Just once I had to wait two hours past their predicted arrival time. The phlebotomists are very skilled. They never seem to have a problem finding a vein and are in and out in record time. The tests are also back very timely.

Very rude and unprofessional tech. We had the same tech come twice leaving our home being argumentative and aggressive. I have asked for a different tech for the next visit but they have once again sent the same tech and she has once again left our home yelling at us. She’s not happy with her job and unfortunately the patients are the ones suffering from her misery. If you can, avoid having to work with this lab.

Starlabs was referred to us by our nurse for a Covid test needed before surgery. They called Friday and said they would be here Monday 9am-12pm. Received a call at 959 from tech Rhonda Lewis would be here 1pm-4pm. That’s a huge difference in time, and I switched my schedule to be here during the times provided. When I said this to Rhonda her respond was “well I’m not going to back track and come that way, I don’t know why they told you that.” She then stated she will come at 6am tomorrow which does not work since the patient is in a wheelchair and caregiver is only there certain hours. Not a very professional tech. Called the office who stated they will try to find another technician. This is not acceptable when a patient has surgery planned and Covid test is required. I would never recommend them to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had an extremely rude and disrespectful tech fail to pick up a urine sample for my elderly father 4 days in a row. Refused to give me a time window, refused to wait even 5 minutes for me to bring the sample down to her. I have been a caregiver for 3 years and I have NEVER dealt with anyone so rude and unprofessional in the home health care industry. Only positive I can say is that generally when I call the main office line they are very apologetic and helpful.

AGAIN, this business is a SCAM. They tried to fraudulently submit laboratory services claim to medicare. They were DENIED and then tried to send a claim to supplemental. Heads up Star Lab-if medicare does not approve a service, the supplemental insurer denies it on the spot. Stop scamming the elderly!

This place is unprofessional. Doesn't return calls and when you do talk to them they are rude. And let's not even discuss them not showing up when they are supposed to or not sending results to your doctors. Place is a joke

You give a 2 hour window and still don’t show up. Don’t cancel when you’re not coming. Will never use you again. No wonder your ratings are so low.

If you use this service, just know that they may send your labs to random people’s emails. I just received an email from StarLab with an attachment that had 20 patient’s labs. Apparently they meant to send it to a technician with the same first name as me, a random person with no connection to StarLab. Mind you, they’re sending confidential patient information using literal GMail. When I called this out they just asked me to delete the email. I’ll be reporting them for violating HIPAA.
