I
visited
the
place
for
2
reasons:
being
an
avid
coffee
lover
and
the
hype
on
Instagram.
The
place
has
3
parts:
the
coffee
purchase
section,
the
coffee
experience
section
&
the
cafe.
P.S:
They
also
provide
a
tour
through
their
plantation
and
processing
centre
which
I
believe
is
a
wonderful
experience
(however,
we
missed
out
on
this
due
to
a
shortage
of
time)
Purchase
Section:
They
have
various
brewing
equipment,
coffee
powders
(both
for
traditional
filter
and
espresso-based
brews),
spices
and
a
few
other
bites.
Coffee
Experience
Section:
It
has
an
aroma
wall
which
gives
you
whiffs
of
various
stages
of
coffee
processing.
The
section
also
has
an
interactive
wall
(a
very
interesting
concept)
The
Cafe:
It
serves
beverages
and
quick
bites.
According
to
the
cafe
manager,
their
menu
of
quick
eats
isn't
fixed;
you
get
whatever
is
available
on
display.
Products/Food:
1.
Filter
Coffee:
I
would
say
the
filter
is
as
authentic
as
it
can
get.
It
was
quite
good.
2.
Americano:
The
Americano
was
decent
like
any
other
well-brewed
Americano.
However,
what
surprised
me
was
that
(according
to
the
manager)
the
cafe
served
only
espresso-based
drinks
and
didn't
serve
brews
made
with
Aeropress,
French
Press
or
other
non-espresso
brewing
methods.
I
couldn't
find
it
on
the
menu
as
well.
(Perhaps
they
are
an
exclusive
part
of
the
coffee
tasting
experience
or
another
menu)
3.
Apple
Pie
served
with
Ice
Cream:
The
apple
pie
was
good,
nothing
out
of
the
ordinary.
This
is
only
because
I
have
tasted
better
apple
pies.
Else
the
flavour
of
apple
was
there,
the
crust
was
a
bit
soft.
For
someone
who
has
not
tasted
authentic
apple
pies,
go
for
it.
4.
Coffee
Panna
Cotta:
A
very
interesting
dish.
It
was
garnished
with
what
I
think
was
coffee
jelly
and
a
coffee
crumble.
The
Panna
Cotta
was
set
well
and
it
was
delicious.
I
loved
it!
5.
Coffee
Powders:
There
are
5
blends
available:
extra
strong,
strong,
medium
(2)
&
light.
I
purchased
a
couple
of
the
blends;
they
seemed
interesting.
There
is
no
mention
of
any
of
the
accompanying
coffee
notes
though.
However,
I
made
a
couple
of
brews
from
the
premium
strong
blend,
they
tasted
pretty
good
with
a
dark
chocolate
bitterness.
So,
all
in
all,
it
was
good.
Ambience:
We
visited
the
place
on
a
weekday,
hence
the
place
was
quiet
and
welcoming.
The
place
is
well
maintained
and
is
apt
if
you
are
looking
to
spend
time
in
a
cafe.
Service
and
Staff:
The
staff
was
very
courteous
with
all
our
orders.
However,
the
manager
seemed
to
be
new
and
not
sure
of
certain
things.
Did
not
hamper
the
experience
though!
:P
Value
for
money:
The
coffee
is
priced
at
par
with
most
cafes
of
similar
ambience.
Overall,
we
enjoyed
the
coffee
experience!
