Only statue of Lord shiva which is built before 800 years. The incident diety bedara kannada offering his eyes to Lord shiva can be witnessed here and you may observe one eye of bedara kannappa is on the right feet of Lord (Chandramoulishwara )shiva . Parvathi devi idol also built according to arsheya style and beautiful ganesha is the attractive one in the temple. The temple is under govt of karnataka however the main priest poojya saraswati samman awardee Bhalakrishna bhat taking a well care of the temple and he is the main attraction by his style of pooja. Plz do visit once and experience the immense eternity of Lord Shiva.

The Chandramouleshwara temple in Channarayapattana is about 900 years old. There is a Moorat (Idol) of Lord Shiv in the Garbhagudi. That is extremely rare. Most Shaivaite temples have a Shiva-Ling in the Garbhagudi. The Idol, is beautifully carved
