😠 Same as everyone else's reviews... I paid to park, spent money in there shop and was treated to a lovely £130 parking ticket. DO NOT PARK OR SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. This is a legal scam to get money out of the public in a cost of living crisis, you should be ashamed of yourselves. People often mention store, shop, parking,

Don't trust prices. I checked my receipt and 4 different tubs of Haagen Dazs ice cream labelled as £3 each on the shelf had appeared as £5.15 each on my receipt. This is not the first time I have found the price charged is radically different from the shelf edge label so the store is not managing their shelf edge labels properly.

It makes quite a change to find a supermarket not owned by one of the national companies like Tesco or Morrisons. I wondered how competitive the prices would be but from the limited browsing and buying I did, it seemed to be perfectly reasonable. Staff were very pleasant and whilst there weren't a lot of tills, I didn't have long to wait. Not sure how it would be at busy times however. There is a good size car park with free parking for up to 30 mins or £2 for up to 2 hours which is refunded if spending £10 or more in store. All day parking is available on Sundays for just £2.50. There is also a launderette machine in the car park.

I have never been here before because of the pay to park and the reviews about being fined which is terrible. But I was on foot so popped in. Handy for some wine and cheese. They stock Co-op food mainly which I was surprised about. It is basically a Co-op. They had Jam Shed Shiraz which I love so I was happy! At the front is a deli and farm shop goodies. Quite expensive but it was spacious, clean, bit different and no queues.

There is cheap car parking outside the store for up to 2 hours which allows you to explore the town of Rye. The store itself is a supermarket with most of the usual brands you'd expect to find but they also produce their own foods such as baked goods as well as some lesser known brands. Very good.

I parked here and spent money in the shop. I was a few min outside the time in the car park and got a £40 parking ticket even after being assured I wouldn’t by 2 members of staff in the store. I will no longer shop here!

We popped into Jempsons whilst visiting Rye. We thought it was a very nice shop. We were very impressed with the bread and cakes. Very tasty indeed, with the cakes being exceptional value. Also bought some very nice pies and sausage rolls. Prices were a bit higher for some products but that is understandable for a shop this size. Staff seemed very friendly. We will certainly stop at a Jempsons again when in the area.

Opening hours are very convenient, as I often do my shopping at 6am. There is also a large parking in front of the store and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There is a great choice of produce and very nice staff. There is also a post office inside (however opening hours differ). If you are looking for the cash machine, there are 2 in front of the entrance (I think they are accessible 24h). There are also laundrette machines available for public on the side of the store, a bit further to the right from the entrance.
