I tried masala dosa from here once before covid and then last month which was 2 years later. I must say, it was not to the mark this time. It was pretty okay the first time I had it from here, now, something feels different. Sambar and coconut chutney could have been better. Rest, I think the behaviour of the staff is friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. It is a small outlet and can accommodate around 10 people, so the table service is quick. I wanted to give a 3.5 but that's not an option here.

Since 16 or 17 years we are tasting the mouth watering masala dosa here.not only masala dosa but also, chowmin,idli,vada at a very reasonable price.earlier it was a very small cafe but now few years back it becomes more spacious, you can dine with your family and friends. we liked the nariyal chutney n sambhar very much.you can again n again.timely they are introducing new new items like recently they were offering dhokla idli.so it's opp to shyam store.if you are here near by do try the south indian food.

This place is awesome for me. They provide best masala dosa in west delhi. Owner is very polite and co worker are also. I always take more than 4 bowls of sambar for a single dosa but they never denied to give more. Only problem is there prices of special dosa(panner, rawa, onion) is little costlier. One can go this place and taste their best masala dosa

It's just an ok stall as far as South Indian food goes. It's a pity that people in Delhi don't actually know what good South Indian tastes like. And utterly disappoting that joints like this who have decades of experience and true South Indian roots are dishing out just ordinary South Indian fare. It's a sad story. The Sambjar is the biggest disappointment. It's watery and has no real taste. The cocunut chutney is also very think. The idli is fluffy and the Vada was crisp thankfully. The see icenos quick but the restaurant is small and dingy.

Not expensive at all.. it's a decent place where there is a lot of customer footfall and you get very good vibes when enjoying meal with your family. The food is good for sure.. they serve you with the order in like few minutes. The cashier and the most of the staff are South Indian and great in hospitality. Not a place to flaunt on social media but a decent place to dine in. The parking is a bit issue.. there is no designated parking. Your luck finds u the place on road to park your vehicle.

This is vintage shop. I am seeing this small restaurent from last 20 years. They are serving delicious south indian food. The sitting and interior is old school type, service is ok ok. They dont serve red chutney with south indian food in dinner meals.

This is a small place for dine in. Food wasn't great in tatse and can't comment about hygiene either. I searched for best south indian food near me in Google and got this name. So, don't trust Google without doing your own research. It's average or below average place to get south indian food.

Food taste is okaish but the quality of food is somewhat compromised. I ordered Idli and Sambhar, a dead insect was stuck on the Idli.

Food is good 3.8/5.0 Except south Indian food they have some option for Chinese (mostly noodles/chowmin) which also tastes good. They have a sitting area inside.

Place is located very close to Uttam Nagar bus terminal . Food is great . Serves authentic south indian. Prices are easy on your pocket and staff is friendly as well. Only accept cash as mode of payment.

Only one drawback, the owner is very conservative on running AC which is only one whereas as per space, it requires three ACs. Not preferable to have meals during summers. No doubt quality is good but the prices are also not cheap.

Good quality food with striking fast service. The only problem is size and furniture of the cafe. It is extremely small and waiters bump into you while moving. The tables are very compact and one can't sit comfortably.

Love their masala dosa, chowmine, idli and vada. My parents have been eating from this place since 1998 and still the taste and the quality is the best. Their uttapam is also great you can opt for that as well.

Dosa is fine by taste but the sambhar is too low in taste they should enhance the taste. Best of luck South Indian Cafe.
